“Beautiful Villa in a Beautiful Location”
Reviewed 15 January 2018 for a stay in July 2017

Firstly the pictures really do not do this villa justice! It is lovely and spacious with great outdoor space too. You really will not get tired of the beautiful view. The pool is amazing and much bigger in real life! All the bedrooms are a very good size with the master bedroom being particularly spacious, with an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. The other 2 bedrooms share a large bathroom. There was a welcome pack on arrival which was very much appreciated.

We had arranged a transfer with Dave from the airport which went very smoothly. Starting by being presented with cold bottles of water a spacious air-conditioned taxi (there really is no need for a hire car). When we arrived in Kalkan we were met by the rep from the management agency who then took us to the villa.

It is in a lovely quiet location but within a couple of minutes by taxi to the centre of Kalkan (at a cost of no more than £3) or if you can manage it in the heat it is a (mostly) downhill 20min walk into town.

Within a 5min walk are bars, restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets, one will even deliver to the villa and there is also a small carrefour in town. Our favourites restaurants were Cafe Vita (who also do a delivery service if you don't want to leave the luxury of the villa) and Brothers. Both had great friendly service and excellent food. When we did venture into town our favourites were Aubergine and Teras, to be honest too many to mention, but I can safely say we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. The locals are very friendly and cannot do enough for you.

There are plenty of things to do although we just wanted to chill out so can't comment on too many apart from a day we took a trip to the Kalkan Beach Club which is worth a visit and is free of charge via the "yellow boat" in the harbour and again really good service from the staff. We also popped down to Kalamar Beach Club (just below the villa) to try out some of the water sports, again this was very nice.

This was our first trip to Kalkan and will definitely not be our last. Dave was very helpful and made the booking stress free with lots of recommendations.

We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to recommend the villa and Kalkan to our family and friends.

Lynn Many thanks for taking the time to write this lovely review. I know what you mean about the photos not doing the villa justice. I really must get round to getting some better ones done. I am glad that you liked the pool, as when we had the villa built, it was one of our priorities that we had a large pool where you were able to have a proper swim. The same was true of the bedrooms as we wanted to have a feeling of plenty of space throughout the villa. It really is a problem knowing which restaurant to go to as they are all very good irrespective of if they are top end or budget. With so many good ones now on the Kalamar Road it isn't necessary to go all the way in to the village for a nice meal. We get lots of repeat guests so it is nice when someone new to Jodaruya and Kalkan enjoys everything as much as our regulars and we do. Really pleased that you had an enjoyable holiday and hope to welcome you back some time in the future.
Regards
Dave and Joyce

“AMAZING VILLA - FANTASTIC LOCATION - GREAT HOLIDAY”
Reviewed 14 January 2018 for a stay in September 2016

Our visit in June will be our 6th, The views from the villa are amazing, kalcan is a lovely town with some fantastic resturants and cafes. On our last visit we took the whole familly so they could experience this holiday with us. The local beach club was very popular with younger members of the family.
Can't wait to get back there in June.

Many thanks for leaving this review Alan
It's amazing to realise that this will be your 6th visit. Where do all the years go ?
It's hard to capture just how good the views are in photographs and it's also hard to convey to people just how lovely Kalkan is, so it's a great testament to both that you have been back so many times.
Hope your visit in June will be as good as the previous five.
Thanks again
Dave

“The best villa that you could stay in”
Reviewed 9 January 2018 for a stay in June 2017

The Ryan family are frequent visitors to this fantastic villa. It has everything you could want and more. Two bedrooms overlook the beautiful bay and the views are incredible - what a way to wake up. There is a spacious living room and a very well equipped kitchen. The main feature though is the incredible infinity swimming pool. The family has spent many happy hours in the pool. Every time we go to the villa, the owner has made some changes so it always looks new and different. There are some great local restaurants within a few minutes walk or you can walk into Kalkan (about 20 mins) or use a local taxi £3-£4. Looking forward to going again in June 2018.

Many thanks for leaving this lovely review Di
Your spot on when you say the best feature is the pool. When we had it built we stressed that we wanted a decent sized infinity pool where you could have a good swim with a view to die for.
Glad you notice that we stay on top of things and replace and renew anything that needs updating. We deliberately go out for 6 weeks before the season starts to make sure everything is spick and span in time for our guests.
Really appreciate repeat guests like yourselves as it sort of proves that the villa is well worth going back to time and again.
