“great for the kids”
Reviewed 7 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

we recently got back from an 11 night stay at Tas villa, there was 9 of us in our group including two toddlers. The villa is geared up for the little ones, its very safe indoors and around the pool. Both of the boys had their own cots in the main bedrooms which were spotless as was the whole of the villa, the cleaners come in once a week and done a great job.the villa is very well equipped in the kitchen, around the pool and inside there are plenty of dvds, cds, books, board games as well as plenty of toys to keep the kids amused.Tracy was a great host and was always at the end of the phone when ever we needed anything, from medicine for the kids that she kindly brought round and sorting out all our travel needs and returning Beaus teddy to the uk, a big BIG THANK YOU.........

“Ticked all the boxes”
Reviewed 17 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Fabulous holiday in this beautifully clean, excellently equipped villa. Really had the best of times. Plenty of space and there were 9 in our party, including 4 teenagers. Really recommend the boat trip on Zeus, it was booked up for the day trip when we arrived, this wasn't a problem as Tracy arranged another trip for us, however we did the night trip on Zeus as well, which the teenagers loved. Swimming in the dark, using Ali's underwater torch, following Ail with his harpoon , I could go on and on....get it booked!
High standard of furnishing throughout the villa, loads of really comfortable outside furniture, plenty of lounging space either in the sun or shade. Great to have a nightcap up on the rooftop terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. We had a few bbqs, really easy shopping in Kalkan, butchers , fishmongers, supermarkets in the Main Street, we walked down and taxi back (15 lira for 6) We had some lovely meals out, went to a couple of beach clubs, ( jetskis, and all watersports) and visited the Turkish baths, went to the market, some went quad biking and scuba diving. There is as much or as little to do as you want. The people of Kalkan are so friendly, so welcoming, a truly magical place.
Lots of nice touches in the villa, like books, games, insect repellants etc. Tracy contactable by phone and couldn't do enough to make this a truly special holiday.
The villa is situated at the top of a very steep hill, we enjoyed the stroll down in the evening but wouldn't fancy walking back up! There's a hotel nearby (5 mins stroll) we went for cocktails , cheaper than in town and they were very welcoming also.

“Our 2nd time - Wasn't sure it could be better - but it was,”
Reviewed 2 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Tracy as always went beyond what you might expect from a host. Always available to help and advise making the holiday so much easier and very relaxing.

The villa is exceptionally clean and well cared for. This year there were two new large family dinning tables and plenty of space for the 7 of us. In our party I had 5 girls 20 & 21 and one 13 year old. If lying by the pool and doing nothing isn't for you - then there is plenty to do during the day if you want to walk 10-15 minutes to the harbour and grab a free speed boat go to a beach club or just stroll around the small and beautiful town. In the evening eating out wasn't expensive and for those that liked to start their evening at midnight there was just one 'club' to suit! - however Kalkan is NOT a clubbing place it is a family orientated, friendly and overall quiet. Certainly from the Villa you cannot hear the town it is quiet and peaceful.

Going out with Ali on the boat is well worth it and having gone last year we really wanted to do it again.

Overall this is an excellent choice if you are a large family or group of friends and I have no doubt we will be returning.

“Fantastic villa, with stunning views”

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at Tas Villa in Kalkan.

We travelled as a large family of 2 adults and 6 children which fascinated the locals, every where we went people were counting our children.

Tracy is a fantastic host, very helpful & friendly, and holds a fountain of knowledge about Kalkan.

Firstly, the villa. Wow what a villa!!! Very spacious with excellent facilities, everything we needed was supplied - Tracy, thank you very much. The outside space is just as fantastic with a roof terrace, balconies and 2 areas to eat on the patio. The pool and padding pool were great for the kids and were used almost every day even though they were v.v. cold in April.

The weather was good for the time of year, only a couple days of couldy / rain, the rest were lovely and warm (around 25 degrees).

Kalkan is a lovely town, although the walk back to the villa is hard work so we opted for a taxi back which cost 11 Lira. We frequented the Alibaba Roof Top Terrace restaurant on many occasions, the food was freshly prepared and of a very good quality (we were eating out for approx. 120 lira for 8 meals, such a bargain!). The old town is very pretty and the market had some very good bargains especially leather.

We will definitley be returning to the amazing Tas Villa.

“Fantastic family villa”
Reviewed 31 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

We have just returned home from staying at Tas Villa in Kalkan, Turkey. The villa was very thoughtfully kitted out for a family and the owner was willing to supply pretty much anything we needed on our arrival. It took so much stress out of travelling with children and reduced the luggage too! Tracy lives nearby so can pop in if you need her. On our arrival I had arranged with Tracy to have the correct size of Pampers nappies waiting for me so I didn't have to pack half the suitcase with nappies. Tracy also offered to lend me her hand blender if I needed it to make food for my baby - as it was, I had bought lots of sachets of food with me for our baby but he'd only just started taking non-homemade food so it could have been a life saver. There's also a pushchair there if you don't want to bring your own, and Tracy can also provide car seats.

Within the villa there are 5 bedrooms - the main bedroom has a large alcove which houses a good sized cot. Imagine a walk in wardrobe with a cot at the end of it and you may get the idea. This means your baby can sleep in the same room as you but you have a little privacy as well. There is also an ensuite bathroom.

The sofa in the lounge is really comfy and there's a DVD player (with lots of DVDs provided) and satellite TV. There's kids cups, bowls and spoons, and even some toys for them to play with. There's even a foot step so that children can reach the sink in the bathroom - and a potty if you're in the middle of toilet training.

The pool was lovely and very much appreciated in the hot weather - although it's too deep to touch the floor which meant it was less easy to play with our 5 year old but this didn't prove to be a huge problem. It might have been if our daughter was more nervous in the water.

The whole villa is very child proof - there are no dangerous, exposed areas a child could fall - which I don't think can be said for all villas in Kalkan.

The welcome pack is thoughtfully kitted out with more than the bare essentials. And there's a water cooler machine in the kitchen which means you're not hauling lots of bottles of water back from the supermarket.

The ktichen has everything you're likely to need (and more) as well as a large dishwasher. If you have kids the washing machine is also invaluable to have at your disposal.

The only negative comment I have is the location of the villa - it is up a very high hill but having said that, virtually all villas in Kalkan are. If you were walking into town you'd need to cross a dual carriageway and if you're a nervous driver I'd suggest taking taxis everyhwere - which are affordable. What the location does offer you is a lovely view of Kalkan Bay from the roof terrace at the top of the building.

The villa was extremely clean and tidy.

We were very happy in the villa and would definitely consider going back again in future. We'd highly recommend it to anyone else.
