We were given a description of the food being served at Mango on the way into the centre of Kalkan. We decided to give it a try the following night and weren't disappointed. The chicken and steak in the traditional pot and the chicken wok were both fantatsic - tasty and tender meat, full of flavour and more than enough on the plate. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the pace of the service was excellent - unlike British restaurants where one course is quickly followed by another.
The quality of the food was matched by excellent value for money and a three course meal with wine was under £50 - a three course meal is not for the faint hearted!
While the restaurant is on the Kalamar Road you quickly appreciate the attentive service, contemporary music playing in the background and comfortable surroundings of the restaurant.
We visited the restaurant on three occasions and the high standards were maintained on every occasion.
Needless to say we'll be back on our next visit to Kalkan. So you don't have to go into the centre of Kalkan to get an excellent restuarant.

After a long day's travelling, we needed to find somewhere close to the hotel to eat and Mango's hit the spot as we really didn't want to to walk down the village. Mustafa welcomed us so warmly. The menu is very extensive. I had the sea bass which was so delicious, and my husband had the sizzling lamb which was very tender and tasty. Each day when we walked past on our way into town, we always had a friendly wave and greeting from Mustafa. Always ready for a chat and never bothered that we were trying other eating places. We returned another 2 times during our fortnight and the service/food was as excellent as always. We wish him well as he has lots of competition but would recommend his restaurant in a heartbeat.

Me and my mum visited Mango on our first day in Kalkan and we were extremely impressed. Lovely staff, food beyond compare ( try the meat pot!), it's got it all! We came a second time which made a much bigger inpression on us. We will be visiting a third time before we go as there are so many more taste sensations to try. Recommending this to anyone that likes tasty, fresh...( I could go on!) food. Ladies and Gentlemen, just because this restaurant is not right at the top does not mean it is not one of the best in Kalkan. Thank u for reading my review.

We have passed this restaurant many times on our way down into Kalkan and decided to give it a try the other night. How glad we were and how pleasantly we were surprised with the quality of the food and the standard of service. The house special which is kebabs or seafood cooked in a clay pot and brought to your table on a platter which is on fire is a must.
The menu offers great choice and there even a good selection for children. The wine is reasonably priced and overall it has been one of our best places we have visited so far. Also went with my daughter and the staff were fantastic to all of us
