Nice rooms, some are better than others, I recommend you to take the larger ones if the price difference is not to high. Location is perfect, steps away from the beautiful town centre, shps and restaurants, but still in a quiet street.
THe terrace is amazing and they serve breakfast there, although the breakfast itself could be better.
Staff has been very nice to us.

We stayed there for 2 nights. On arrival we were shown two rooms we choose the biggest & brightest one, it seemed recently renovated but only realised after settling in that essential facilities like mirror, telephone etc were missing. The bed and the pillows were comfortable but shower was leaking - we reported to reception but wasn't offered to change the room. Toilet seat was weirdly too high! (I'm 5ft 3 and my foot barely touched the floor when I sat on it) Breakfast was very nice and view from terrace was amazing. The hotel is at a great location but right by the mosque so you will wake up at 5.30 every morning.

Room Tip: Ask for high floor room.

Firstly I would like to say that in all the reviews I read before I went, not one mentioned the steep hills! Kalkan is built on the side on a mountain so if you have trouble getting about, I would think twice. However, this hotel is superbly positioned. If you imagine the resort is on 3 tiers, the hotel is on the first tier above the harbour and just a short walk to the beach. The other two tiers are reachable by steps rather than climbing up the roads. If nothing else, it keeps you fit and burns off some of the calories you will definitely put on with all the lovely food!

The staff and locals were probably the most friendly and courteous people I have ever met. They really couldn't do enough for you. The food at the hotel and in the rest of the many restaurants boarders on fine dining and is excellent value. The breakfast was not really to my taste but there is plenty of it. I just can't bring myself to have olives for breakfast!

Many people have posted that their room was nosiy. There is a club next door but we never heard a thing! There is air con in the room and double glazing so no need to have the doors open. If you can get a sea view room, I think you are just far enough away from it. The bed was a tad hard for me but I got used to it. Sheets and towels were changed everyday and the room cleaned to a high standard.

Room Tip: Get a sea vies room if you can.

A lovely family run, friendly hotel. Perfect central location for all things in Kalkan. Manager and most of Staff speak good English and have excellent local knowledge. Breakfast was very good and could always be changed if you didn't like what was on offer. The hotel also has a great restaurant, but the (nice) problem with Kalkan is that there are over 150 other eateries to choose from! Yes, as mentioned in previous reviews, there is a nightclub nearby, but with our windows closed and the air conditioning on, we could hardly hear it, and we managed to sleep very well. Overall though, I would say that this hotel offers superb value for money and is a very pleasant place to stay. Just be realistic with your expectations, based on the hotel's official star rating

We only stayed for one night but it is a very clean and well looked after hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was 'scrummy'. The room we had was quite small but fine for a couple of nights but not sure I could have stayed for a week or more however the zircon was very efficient.
Some noise from the neighbouring bar but not enough to worry us. Great location close to the beach and town centre.

Room Tip: Ask for a larger size room

We stayed for 11 nights at the Zinbad and were really impressed with the attitude of the staff and the standard of the hotel. The location is fabulous, close to the beach and an easy walk (if uphill) into the town centre. Sheets and towels were exchanged every day and the room and hotel was always spotless.
Breakfast was very nice, Turkish continental breakfast with a different extra dish each morning; eggs, omelette, pancakes etc etc. The view from the restaurant was amazing, what a joy to start the day.
Thank you to Ahmet and all his staff for making our holiday one to remember. we loved Kalkan and hope to return soon and we will definitely stay at the Zinbad.

Room Tip: Contact the hotel and pay the extra for a sea view and request a balcony, please note that not all s...

Great little hotel but very close to bars and nightclubs that go on until 4/5am.
On the plus side, the staff were fantastic and the breakfast was very good.
Git rid of the bars and clubs and this place would be fantastic
