This was our first time in Turkey and we feel so lucky to have discovered this wonderful place. The place is immaculately clean from the rooms to the pool area. Ahmet and Kate are so welcoming and the staff can’t do enough for you. Breakfast is typical Turkish and once you get over the idea of cucumber at breakfast time, very enjoyable! We booked for the weekly BBQ on Saturday and really enjoyed it, the food and entertainment, provided by the staff, was wonderful. The rooms are small but as you only use them for getting changed and sleeping that is no problem. They are beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The Dionysia is ideally situated for the town which is just a ten minute walk. We had a meal on the rooftop terrace which was no more expensive than eating at one of the wonderful restaurants in the town, and the view over Kalkan has to be seen to be believed. We are already looking into returning next year. We visited in May and I would advise that you take something warm for the evening, as once the sun goes down there can be chill to the air and a breeze coming in off the sea.More
