First stay in Villa Esra, part of the small, well-maintained Viewpoint complex, and it definitely won't be our last. Not only is the villa superb value, it is immaculately clean, with everything taken care of, including all the essentials like a little washing powder, hand soap, etc. Just small things that made a massive impression.
The villa itself is older in style but unlike some of the 'modern' villas we have rented, it's very well-appointed, easy to access and there are shops and restaurants within walking distance but which don't require an descent and ascent up an horrifically steep hill. What's not to like about that?! The villa prices are very reasonable, based on the costs we gave paid for villas previously, in fact we can't understand where some rentals get their figures from!
The couple who take care of the villas are lovely - we even got a delicious, homemade late afternoon snack delivered to our door! Nothing was too much trouble. Anne-Louise and Muzzafer who own the properties are equally friendly and accommodating. They even apologised for the over-running building work taking place at the Elixir Hotel, which was obviously out of their control. They seem to genuinely care about their guests.
Whilst the plots are relatively small, a couple of them (Esra & Gul) are nicely private and what they lose in outside space they win back in comfort, security and location.
Can't recommend Viewpoint Villas highly enough - we have already pencilled in our next trip!
