These words were spoken to us by the owner as we checked into this lovely hotel. It was a delight to reach Hotel Cachet and enjoy the spectacular views and the quiet. The ride from town is about ten minutes by car and the drive is great. The owner is the consummate professional and his young staff aim to please. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. One small complaint was that the sheets didn't properly fit the bed. but that is minor compared to all the positives with this hotel.
The restaurant is excellent and we had two of the best meals we've had on our month in Turkey.
stay at this hotel-you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view, preferably on the second floor.

This is a VERY belated review -- i stayed there in the early summer 2013 season for about 4 nights. I'm pretty bad at this internet thing...

My wife and I booked a few nights here as part of our honeymoon trip to Antalya, and it was an absolutely superb experience. Really difficult to describe how wonderful it was!

First off, the room we booked had an phenomenal view of the sea and the nearby Meis island (recommend a trip out there for a nice little greek getaway). It was truly a stunning sight waking up to catch the sunrise every morning. The room was kept clean and fresh, and every request we had was promptly met by the great staff.

Speaking of the staff, Murat and Tayfun were a wonderful bunch that really went out of their way to make our trip a memorable one. Their were incredibly professional, had wonderful personas, and were fun to chat with. Not only was their service top notch, but they are also genuinely good folks that I enjoyed getting to know. On one lazy morning I woke up to head out to town and saw that my rental car was spotless: Tayfun apparently decided that it needed a wash and gave it a nice scrub down! Their service during meal time (more on the food in a bit) was also top notch. Breakfast was actually quite fun: they recommended a few tried-and-true dishes to complement the fresh fruits and vegetables and also made it a point to try to get to know us and make us feel comfortable and welcome. On several of our dinners Tayfun brought out a cool little candle that he concocted to make our dinner more memorable. We were never made to feel like our requests were a burden or troublesome -- something I can't say about other hotels in the region... (Sidenote: ask Tayfun about his cliff diving show!)

Lastly: THE FOOD. I'm an expat Turk so I was a little worried that the food would be a bit run down and stripped of culture to appease weary tourists -- definitely not the case. Breakfast was phenomenal: fresh fruit, veggies, cheeses, teas, coffee, bread, you name it. Egg items were incredibly good, some of the best menemen I've ever had was here at the hotel. We are dinner twice at the Manzara restaurant and it was excellent: traditional dishes with eye-catching presentation. Fikri Bey is an EXCELLENT cook (and a joyful manager!).

All-in-all, I couldn't have picked a better place for the beginning of our honeymoon. Definitely wish I could've spent more time there instead of making the mistake of going to Olympos -- a slight disappointment. Kas is incredibly unique!

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the rooms with the view!

My wife, my two teenage daughters and I stayed during the last week in August. The hotel appealed because of the relatively small number of rooms, the spectacular view and the positive reviews on TA. Iklaque the owner and his staff couldn't do enough for us and so a big thanks to them for all of their help and advice during our stay.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the pool area was excellent. There are steps down to the sea where you can enjoy a dip in the Aegean which was very welcome given the very hot temperatures in August. As some of the other reviewers have said, there is quite a steep hill from the hotel to the main road to catch a Dolmus but my advice is take this as an opportunity to get some exercise.
Because the hotel is relatively small this is a great opportunity to mingle and interact with the other guests. We met some wonderful people and ended up meeting up for drinks in Kas on some of the nights.
The hotel is on the peninsula but don't let this put you off. There is a regular Dolmus service and the taxis (at the hotel within minutes of requesting one) are relatively inexpensive.
Kas itself is wonderful with a great energy and ambience and none of the hard selling that you find in other resorts such as Kalkan where we stayed for a week before going to Kas. It appears that many of those who come to Kas have been coming for a long time and see the attraction with the great restaurants and laid back feel to the place. We particularly enjoyed the Barcelona Bar with the owner 'Mr Bean' keeping everyone entertained.
All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending the Cachet Hotel where you will find a group of hardworking and honest people all focused on ensuring you have an enjoyable and memorable stay.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The vıews are fantastic. The rooms are clean and spacious and the shower room is lovely to use. The staff are very helpful, especially the owner and manager and the waiting staff are young but keen and enthusiastic. We booked a number of trips through the hotel who did all the organisation and made it so easy for us.

We regularly eat in the Manzara restaurant in the hotel and the food was always very tasty, fresh and well presented. Prices were very reasonble compared to Kas. The pool is always well kept and we noticed that the older broken loungers have been replaced. It is a lovely and quiet hotel to completely relax and re-energise yourself. We thoroughly recommend it.

Room Tip: The Superior rooms have excellent panoramic sea views.

Previous reviews have noted the rather shabby state of things like the sun loungers. And it's true the hotel could do with some tlc (though it is the end of the season so any hotel is going to be in need of renovations). It's also true that this is hardly a luxurious hotel (though perhaps by local standards...). But its location more than makes up for any deficiencies. It's perched on a peninsula a short drive out of Kas so it is quiet and peaceful. The views across the sea to the Greek island are superb (even the view from the carpark is a jaw dropper) with constant entertainment from passing gulets. The pool is ok if you like pools. But the hotel also has a platform at the bottom of the cliffs so that you can swim in the sea. There is nothing like a swim in the warm Mediterranean - especially when accompanied by a turtle. Wise to check the current before you swim too far. Just the place for a quiet break in the sunshine. We weren't too impressed by the lunches and dinners at the hotel (the breakfasts were lovely though) - but other guests were very happy with them. Much more fun to catch a dolmus into town (you meet so many interesting people waiting for the bus) - and may I recommend Ruhi Bey as a must visit restaurant? The steep hill up to the bus beats any gym workout. I'd go back.

Room Tip: Any room with a balcony looking seawards (and down on the pool) is good. Some rooms are markedly sm...

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the wonderful location and must what must be one of the best views in the Aegean. The staff were incredibly helpful though we did have a couple of Faulty Towers moments, which amused rather than irritated. With only 12 rooms, we appreciated that the hotel, though full, never felt busy with plenty of sunbeds and room on the multiple sun terraces. We are love swimming in the sea and the 189 steps from our 2nd floor room to the sea, it was not an obstacle. There was not much in the way of fish to be seen but there was one turtle and lots of boat envy was experienced. The room was a good size, clean as was the bathroom. The bed was a good size; breakfast was standard Med breakfast though we were slightly disappointed with the lunch and after waiting for 40 minutes for our dinner one night we decided to eat in Kas. We heard from other residents this was a rare occurrence. I think it's fair to point out that the short walk to dolmas is incredibly steep and not for the unfit,. The bus to Kas is a good service and a good way to meet other holiday makers. We'd go back to Cachet without doubt, because of the value for money and the hotel location.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a room with a sea view. Most do.
