My wife and I stayed here for several days and had a great stay. It is a relaxed, clean and peaceful hotel with a fantastic view and a nice complementary breakfast buffet!
The staff was helpfull in any way imaginable and was a key factor in our great vacation at Hotel Cachet. Highly recommended.
Be aware that small children are not allowed.

Room Tip: Get a room with direct sea view

We stayed at Hotel Cachet for a week at the end of June. We found the hotel beautifully clean, with extremely comfortable rooms and bed. The staff, despite being young, and some with limited English, were always helpful and attentive. The breakfast, although a little limited compared with some larger hotels we have stayed in was perfectly adequate and having eggs cooked to order each day was lovely. The hotel commands a spectacular view on the peninsular and due to this there is sometimes quite a breeze. This does cause damage to the sun umbrellas and maybe an investment in some sturdier equipment would be a good idea for the future. We found the owner most accommodating and friendly, very keen for feedback and comments on our stay. The slope up to the main road where the dolmas stops is very steep but we negotiated it daily and looked upon it as good exercise following a day on a sunbed!! Dolmas service was excellent with the last one back from Kas leaving late - well after midnight. All in all a very enjoyable week.

The perfect peaceful spot for a relaxing holiday. We spent a week here in August, had an Island room with our own balcony overlooking the ocean. Fabulous spot for sunbathing, the restaurant food was good, breakfast fresh plentiful and healthy option (none of that dreadful fried bread and greasy bacon that you find at the usual hotel buffet but fresh fruit, salad, muesli and coffee!).

The staff were friendly without being over familiar - and nothing was too much trouble.

We will definitely be returning very soon.

The peace however may be disturbed by the building next door which is not finished and may be another hotel? So perhaps next year it won't be quite so private and secluded.

My only criticism is that the hotel is promoted as being for over 14s only and yet there were a number of younger children there during out stay.

Room Tip: The Island suites are fabulous, didn't get to see the standard rooms but guess they are just as...

Dear Anne,

Thank you for your very positive review and for taking the time to give us your feedback. It is much appreciated. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. You mention the hotel next door. Work on the hotel has stopped due to local laws that all building work must stop during the tourist season. This is to prevent any noise and disturbance to adjoining property owners and guests. Do not worry. No guests will be disturbed next year either because all work will need to completed outside of the tourist season.

There were some young children around during the time of your stay. Unfortunately some guests do not inform the booking agencies that they have children under 14 and when they arrive it is diffıcult to turn them away and spoil their holiday. We do inform them of our ruling and hope that they will observe this in the future. Also we had some guests from local villas who came for lunch and then use the hotel facilities. We will try to be more careful in the future. We look forward to your next visit.

I spent several days at the Hotel Cachet in July 2014, and it was a tremendous experience. The views are breathtaking, and the owners and staff will take excellent care of you. I look forward to going back again someday soon.

We unfortunately only had two nights here rather than the three booked due to an error with our booking. The hotel were very apologetic about this however and did all they could to put this right, booking us into a nearby similar standard hotel for the first night then upgrading us to a suite for the next two. This was typical of the service we enjoyed here, with all the staff being very welcoming and happy to do whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable.

The hotel has a nice large pool area with views over the sea, which was fairly sparsely used and we often had to ourselves. There is also a deck at sea level, although the sea swell while we were there put us off using this for swimming since the sea access ladder looked rather difficult to get back onto.

Be aware that the access road down to the hotel is very steep and somewhat daunting to drive up initially. Fortunately we didn't meet any oncoming traffic while doing this (it's also only one car width).

We returned to the Hotel Cachet for the second year running and spent 3 lovely days calming down and preparing for a stay in Kas. This hotel is run by Mr Shah who is able to magic an aura of calm peacefulness throughout the building. The views from the restaurant balcony and the staff serving in the restaurant are second to none. We are already planning our return trip next year and would not hesitate to recommend this lovely little hotel.

Room Tip: To pay the extra for the sea view is worth it, however all the rooms are cool and charming.

This was our second trip to the Hotel Cachet, We stayed for 2 weeks in 2013 and fell in love with the views, the charm, the wonderful staff and the area of Kas. We have never revisited the same hotel and area in all our holidays and really tried to find another destination for our holiday this year. We spent time looking at options but after much time of searching we realised what we new in our hearts that we had to go back to the Hotel Cachet and Kas.
It's a very special area in Turkey- one that will draw you back- everyone that you chat to who holidays there says the same thing. We bumped into people that we saw the year before. It really is special.
The Hotel Cachet offers a luxury stay with the most breathtaking views. It's quiet and tranquil and you can just feel all your stress run away as the days pass by. The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you and have such a personal touch.
All the slightly negative reviews that I have read have been taken seriously and all the points have been sorted- we really never had an issue with any of these comments but Ihslaque the hotel owner has spent time and money making the hotel even better this year.
There are more rooms this year with some amazing Island rooms with uninterupted views of the Greek Island of Meis. The food as always is spectacular- it will amaze you- Fikri the chef is a very talented Chef and you will have a taste sensation every time you eat in the restaurant- he is also such a lovely man and always makes sure that you have enjoyed your dining experience- he is a huge asset to the hotel.
I can't speak highly enough of the hotel, reataurant, location and staff- it's a perfect combination that actually we would like to keep to ourselves as we never ever want this gem of an area and hotel to become too popular. If you make the effort to travel here you will do it again and again gauranteed.
