An excellent restaurant in a pretty setting with a relaxed atmosphere, we had a lovely meal here, the slow cooked lamb for 2 people was huge, delicious meze starters including some we'd not come across before. Service was friendly and efficient, despite a complete powercut through this part of town while we were eating. All the food we've had in Turkey this trip has been good; Ikbal set itself apart as some of the dishes showed a slightly more modern or maybe sophisticated twist. A 3-course dinner for 4 including a bottle of excellent local wine and plenty of soft drinks and coffee, came to about £85 - expensive for Turkey but still a bargain by UK standards. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

We were at Ikbal restaurant today. The people here are very welcoming and cool. The food is excellent and the service is very good. This pLace is better than Bahce rest in Kas which is a well known restaurant. Comparing the food and the service with Bahce, Ikbal is far more better in terms of taste and service. the atmosphere they created here is also very fancy. I highly recommend Ikbal restaurant. Try the fried shrimps and the pachanga borek.

This is our favourite restaurant in Kas to date. The setting is lovely - a cosy courtyard with overhanging vines - and the Turkish-German service was friendly and efficient throughout. The fish and meat kebabs were delicious, ditto the vegetarian special (feta cheese baked in foil). There are plenty of fresh starters to choose from, including several types of burek. The house white wine was reasonably priced and good.

This restaurant is a cut above the rest. Not cheap, but why should it be?

Visited Ikbal tonight. Mains of the day, Swordfish kebab, Slow cooked Lamb shoulder for 2, slow cooked lamb knuckle for one. The 4 of us decided to have Humus and Aubergine to start, followed by the Slow cooked lamb. Ordered 2 portions-DON'T. There was enough meat and vegetables to feed 6. Really tender, full of flavour. A very pleasant evening, if slightly over indulged. A little more expensive than other restaurants than we have tried! The meze was pleasant, but limited in choice compared to others. Would I go back? Yes-but I will not be ordering any starters/meze. Writing this review with a very full belly, wanting to go to sleep fully satisfied is proving to be difficult.

For a Turkish/German fusion, this restaurant provides some really tasty food that keeps the Turkish authenticity. We had the specials explained to us, the starters were explained, and the food delivered to expectation. The service was very attentive, the setting was very pleasant and relaxing. A little more expensive than most others in Kas but still £60 for four of us with starters and drinks.
