“Overall a good package”

We landed at Linda by mistake but were overjoyed with the sea-facing room. It was also a short stroll down to the town square and nearby beach. The young manager come owner was
pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was similar to all the other hotels and can be enjoyed at the pool deck which has a good view.

I stayed at Kas' Hotel Linda for two nights on an hosted tour of Turkey, and while the accommodation provided was adequate it was dreadfully basic and those looking for something other than hostel-style service should look somewhere else.
My room has two single beds pushed together and each was made up with one sheet and one thin (rag-like) blanket which, as an Australian, was a very basic combination and considerably less than I have found in any other country.
Fortunately, I was on my own so could borrow an extra sheet from the other single bed in the room to make my bed up with the regular two sheets.
The television didn't work, the shower leaked, and when I ventured into the dining room towards the end of breakfast there was nothing left for me to eat.
As a single girl I was also unhappy about the security in the room and there was no way to double lock for the inside, and all I could do to make it a little more secure was wedge one of the plastic chairs from the balcony between the bed and door.
The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is the location and I was lucky enough to have a room at the front, above reception, which gave me a magnificent view across the Mediterranean.
I walked into central Kas a couple of times during my stay - an easy walk down the hill, a little more challenging on the return journey - and found it to be a tourist town obviously catering for British tourists.
There's nothing wrong with the Hotel Linda, just don't stay there if you expect anything other than the very basic.

Room Tip: Insist on a room at the front, or go elsewhere.

We stayed at the Hotel Linda for two nights as part of a Peregrine tour. This was by far one of the better hotels we stayed in - good location, clean modern and comfortable rooms with a balcony. The hotel pool was great and there was a good choice offered for breakfast.

We stayed for 2 nights while on a tour of Turkey. Our room was basic with very few amenities. There was a fridge and one bar of soap provided. There wasn' t a telephone. The large shower is very nice. The room was clean and the view from the balcony was spectacular.

We stayed here 2 nights with a group. Small simple rooms but clean & comfortable. No room safe.
Most rooms seemed to have a balcony affording wonderful water views.
On the top (4th) floor, the roof angles intrude on the bathroom space. If you're over 6ft you may need to have a "hunched" shower, but we were happy to forfeit some shower space for the fabulous top storey view
The central stairwell and corridors unfortunatately work like an echo chamber, and guests returning late caused lots of intrusive noise (just by opening doors and/or talking).
Wifi worked well and was provided free of charge.
A beautiful crystal clear swimming pool was a little cool but still very inviting.

Breakfast did not offer huge variety but was plentiful.

Room Tip: Front rooms on the top storey provide marvellous views.

This hotel is well situated in the town, and just about 5 minutes walk to the waterfront. Our room had an excellent view from the small balcony. The room was a loft conversion - I was unable to stand upright in the shower due to the sloping roof (I am 182 cm tall). In-room facilities were average: double bed, bar fridge, LCD TV, air conditioning. Nowhere to sit and write. Furnishings and fittings were near-new. Wifi worked very well, with good speed. Breakfast was a narrow range of offerings, of average quality. Most staff were friendly.

Hotel Linda was a clean little hotel up a hill but close to the main part of town. We went diving so after a few dives and a nice meal down harbour side the walk back up to the hotel was great.

We stayed in May 2010 so early in season and whole town was quiet, but that made it better in my view.

It was also fun to walk don through the hotels to the rocks near the helipad for a swim away from the water front hotels.

Would stay again.

Room Tip: Definitely get a balcony, waterside. The views are sensational.
