First of all, what Hotel Kayahan isn't: Luxurious. Sophisticated. Roomy. Lushly landscaped. picturesque around the pool. Easy to park at.

Then why do we give it an unreserved 5 stars? Because it's perfectly comfortable, extremely well located, spotless, surprisingly well-priced, has a killer view from the upper floors, and may be the most warm-heartedly and attentively managed hotel I've stayed at in my 69 years of travel. Deniz the owner, his wife and staff (especially the always smiling Mali and Cassie, which I may not be spelling right) will do just about anything to assure guests' comfort and contentment. No wonder they have lots of return guests!

The included breakfast and the optional 25TL dinner are feasts. Bedside sconces are WAY too dim to read by, but that's our only real complaint. Will absolutely return!

While the double rooms aren't very large, the room was generally clean and for the price, hard to beat! Pay a little extra for the sea view. If you can't, don't worry. You will get a SPECTACULAR view during breakfast. Hotel Kayahan is not too far of a walk from the center of town and the scuba shop we coordinated with. Really, Kas is so small, you don't need to travel far to get anywhere. In fact, we walked from the bus stop to the Hotel, which was probably 20 minutes uphill? You can always take a cab or maybe call in advance for a staff member to pick you up. We tipped of course on our drive from the hotel back to the bus terminal. I have to add that the staff was so kind to us after our scuba day. They kept our room open with extra towels (even though we were technically checked out in the AM) so that we could use the showers to freshen up before our bus ride. Seriously, go here!

This cute hotel was renovated last year. Beautiful room views from the second floor and up. Double rooms are not too spaceous but are just enough for two people. Cute balcony with the seaview, clean and comfy room, comfortable bed and good position of the hotel. Wonderful dining room and terace on the top of the hotel offers breakfast with first class view of the bay. Breakfast and dinner are abundant and delightful. It's a pitty that we stayed there only for three nights.
The only downside is the building site behind the hotel. The rooms that have backview are overlooking an ugly building site.

We stayed at The hotel Kayahan for 7 nights !st April- 8th and had a wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the Harbour and the Greek Island of Meis.

The room was spotless with a change of towels every 2 days, breakfast on the roof terrace was nice with a good variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was any trouble.

Would't hesitate in recommending this hotel.Looking forward to our next visit. We found the hot water available at any time as you long as you let it come through.GREAT HOTEL

Room Tip: There was building going on behind the hotel and a little noise so advise to go for room facing the...

As regulars to Kaş we are forever searching for THE perfect hotel in terms of service, comfort, location AND price. Hotel Kayahan is the closest we have found. It cannot be beaten on price, the rooms are clean and comfortable (and serviced every day), open buffet breakfast is served on the (fourth floor) roof terrace and is plentiful and tasty. The pool although small is a welcome alternative to the nearby beach. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of town, but blissfully far enough away to escape the late night sounds of the various bars.

Room Tip: It is worth paying for a room with sea view, and the view improves the higher you go, third floor is...

Fantastic view from second floor and higher. Manager, Faizan, is very helpful and friendly but not pushy. Best breakfasts we had in Turkey. Wonderful location. I felt like I was having a holiday from having a holiday in Kas! Only downside is that the hot water was not hot enough most days... Solar?

Room Tip: Go second floor or higher. There is a lift

This is a long-overdue review of the Hotel Kayahan, where we stayed for several days in October 2012 – a big apology to all at the hotel for not writing to praise them sooner!
This is a terrific hotel, with comfy rooms, a great location - the views from the terrace restaurant towards Meis are superb - and a really warm welcome. The rooms are clean and spacious, the hot water is constant, the beds are lovely, and the food is brilliant - no idea how they manage to turn out such a wonderful evening meal for just 20TL, including fresh fish and mouth-watering meze, but nowhere else in Kas can compete with it.
It's the staff that really make a place and everyone at the Kayahan goes above and beyond to help guests – dropping us off at the bus station was a lovely touch, thank you! This is true Turkish hospitality, worth its weight in gold, and any time in the future we visit Kas, we will definitely stay at the Kayahan.

Room Tip: Worth paying a bit extra for a room at the front with a sea view.
