We visited Gardenia after four years and it is still the best hotel in the area. It is amazing how the owners are taking care of all your needs even if it is totally not their responsibility. The professional and kind attitude of the staff is amazing. You can feel that all is coming directly from the owners. They put a great team together. Worth every penny, definitely will visit again...

The hotel was in a great location, with access to the sea across the road. I just felt it lacked character, you could have been in a city hotel anywhere. We paid €125 a night for a sea view room, which had a great view but didn't think it was worth this much, probably more like €80/90.

Stayed for a couple of mid-week nights last week on our trip through Kas and had Standard 'double room'

Hotel on a busy seafront road with limited parking but have a few hotel reserved spaces which the young lad managing the reception assisted with getting us parked.

Manager (Spitting image of Saul Bloom - Oceans 11) provided warm welcome at check-in, providing map of Kas, restaurant selections and preferred tour company if we required one...we didn't as had planned to dive while in Kas and although not aware of shop we were planning to use assisted us with phone-calls to setup our diving for the following morning so very helpful. Through the stay he was still very personable including on check-out suggesting places to visit on our journey back towards Fethyie and definately added to the stay...as did all staff for that matter.

Room was fine - 'alittle' small but well appointed, only criticism is the Air-con unit is pretty strong (and loud) for a room of its size so if light sleeper you will probably have to do without. All rooms had balconys from what we could see - ours off to the side of the building but still with a partial sea view....which leads to the only criticism of the hotel (and not the hotels fault)...directly opposite the hotel is a beach cum bar which blares (mostly) crap pop music all day and majority of the evening. Fine during the day as beach is pretty busy from looking at it and generally not at the hotel but looking across at night there seems to be 1/2 patrons there with eveyone else in the restaurants/bars in town but music stll going....spoiled relaxing on the balcony alittle bit but with doors closed the rooms are pretty well sound-proofed.

Breakfast had good selection certainly better than most and although hotel doesn't have a 'bar' as such you can just ask one of the young girls/guys for a drink and will happily fetch for you and prices no more than any of the bars.

All in all enjoyable hotel and would happily recommend.

Gardenia is an awesome little spot! Lovely modern room with a little balcony looking out to sea, really nice breakfast and all the guys at the hotel were very lovely! The location is perfect, a short stroll in for a dinner and far enough away to be quiet.

Gardenia Boutique Hotel was loveliest hotel we stayed in while in Turkey. I t was the owner Omer that made our stay very special. His is lovely gentleman that shows a great care for his guests with providing us with recommended dining experiences which where outstanding or just anything. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely with eggs cooked to your liking. The room we had was sea facing was modern clean and had coffee machine which was a thrill. There is no lift but the staff are very happy to carry for you. The whole experience was a delight thanks to Omer and his staff

This was a terrific find. We chose it based on trip advisor which has not always worked out for us but this time we were thrilled. The owner Omer takes a real interest in his guests and their plans and tries to help you find restaurants/experiences/excursions that you will enjoy. He was worried when we told him about our boat trip plans that we may be getting ripped off and gave us some sound advice before climbing aboard which certainly paid off. He took the time each day to chat with each group of guests to check in, see how their day was, see if they needed any help with plans etc.. He is a real gentleman and makes you feel like you are visiting a dear friend.

He is happy to chat but also is very aware of guests' needs for privacy and somehow manages to balance the two effortlessly. It is clear that he is a traveller and as such, he knows what people want and need. You get the sense that he does this out of love not need.

We stayed in both a larger suite with a sea view before our boat trip and a standard room when we returned from our trip. Although the sea view was truly spectacular (and had a wonderful coffee machine), the other room was lovely and was a good size.

Breakfast is simple but delicious. In addition to fresh fruit, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, cheeses, delicious fresh breads, pastries, meats (we didn't see this often in our almost three weeks) the kitchen is happy to make you eggs to order.

The hotel is beautifully designed and although as others have said there is no lift, the hotel is happy to lug your bags up and down when you arrive and depart which I for one is truly grateful. The a/c worked well (also grateful-it was 40 degrees Celsius) and was pretty quiet compared to some others.

We left a package at the hotel (our favourite turkish towels) when we checked out and Omer made arrangements to have it sent on to us at our next destination which was much appreciated.

I would, without hesitation, recommend this hotel to anyone lucky enough to travel to Kas. We will be back and when we are, we will stay at the Gardenia.

I stayed one night here last month with my girlfirend. It was my first time in Kaş and we enjoyed it. The hotel is very nice, modern and clean; very close to the center. The owner is a real gentleman. If you are thinking to go to Kaş, this hotel will be the perfect choice.
