We booked to stay 2 nights at the Lukka Exclusive. The first thing that should be noted is that the hotel is not in Kas Town. It is on the Penninsula. It is not really possible to walk from the hotel to the town (it would take well over an hour and the temperature whilst we stayed was well above 40c). Thus to get to the hotel from the Otogar (Bus Station) you have to take a Dolmus (Local Mini-Bus). You get this just down the road from the Otogar and the mini-Bus is clearly marked Penninsula. The drive takes about 10-15 minutes. You get off the mini-bus at the top of a very very steep and long road. You walk about 200 meters down the hill and you arrive at the hotel. The walk back up this hill to get the mini-bus into town is absolute hell. The hotel does offer parking, and i think is suited to travelers with cars. Do not book this is you have mobility problems or don't like big hills in hot weather. It should also be noted the hotel is situated on a hill and therefore has lots of steps and levels leading from reception, down to the pool area, restaurant, terrace, and the sea side.

Check in took a bit longer than we would like after the epic trek with our big backpacks. Tuba on reception was friendly, but slow. We did receive a colorful welcome drink which was nice.

We had booked a double with partial sea views. The room we got was number 13. It was in the main reception building (down one level using outside steps) It was very dark, and the view consisted more of the building next door (there was a small sea view in the distance through some trees). The room was large, and very frilly. It was not to my taste, but i can imagine honeymooners, romantics, and girls quite liking it. But to me it also seemed a bit dated and in need of modernization. The air-con worked very well which was a bonus. The internet did not work in our room at all which was annoying after being told it would.

The pool area is very pretty, and has a nice view. The whole stay we only saw one person using it however.

The restaurant is wonderful. The breakfast was fresh with lots of choice, and orders cooked fresh. We also ate lunch and dinner here, both meals being very tasty, good serving size, and reasonably priced.

Then down by the sea is a beautiful area with decks, bean bags, and sun chairs. It is beautiful down here, however unfortunately i had an awful experience. We dove straight in, and swam out to the buoy about 50 meters from the jetty. I sat on the buoy for a few minutes (my partner did not). After a few minutes i was in extreme pain from something. I jumped out, and rinsed off but it got worse. i ran up to the room, showered, and it continued. After investigation it turned out i had been attacked by 'Sea Lice'. My partner trekked into town to get some Cortizone Cream whilst i took a Xanax and some pain killer and lay under the air con holding cold cans against my legs. It was an unbearable burning pain. The cream helped immensely, then the next day i was absolutely fine. So stay away from that floating buoy! After this we didn't go swimming here again which was a shame because it was very beautiful. And of course it was not the hotels fault. In fact Tuba at reception helped my partner locate a pharmacist to go to in Town.

Overall it is a very nice hotel, but for us the location was not ideal. It was very isolated and difficult to get into town without a car. It would definitely suit people looking for seclusion, looking for romance, and i definitely recommend the restaurant.

Having been to many countries and many hotels in the world, this hotel is one of our favorites. We stayed here for 10 nights. Where to start:

- the hotel is situated on the Kas Peninsula with unobstructed views and access to the sea
- the hotel is constructed in layers with each layer having full sea view i.e the rooms, the pool area, the restaurant and finally the beach area
- there are 2 bars that are open from morning till late at night
- they dont just have the normal deck chairs with umbrellas but have comfortable double beds! under cazebos next to the pool and on the sea shore
- service and attention to detail is amazing. Just one example, there is a wooden deck built onto the water and at sunset they light it up with candles and put out huge comfortable pillows and serve cocktails. Perfect sunset
- staff are very friendly and helpful
- the restaurant serves excellent food with once again the attention to detail coming through in the presentation. Wine list is very comprehensive and reasonably priced
- the rooms are large, comfortable with expensive finishes

Lukka is definitely recommended and probably the best in Kas.

We stayed at many hotels all over the world and this one is by far my favorite
We liked everything.
Excellent staff with a personal touch.
Location and scenery is amazing, serene, romantic, quite and a very clean beach.
Food is great, breakfast buffet in the morning is out of this world and included in the room charge.
Rooms are clean and toiletries are uniquely different.
Small Boutique hotel and a very personable owner. He let us stay in the room until 6 pm at no extra charge because our flight out was late.
If there is rating higher than 10, I would give it.
Received a couple of awards since it opened three years ago and deserves more.

Room Tip: Sea view or honey moon suite

There is more than meets the eye about this place. If you are looking for a peaceful and romantic place to stay in Kaş, Lukka is definitely the first choice. Very clean rooms, sea and pool. You wake up with a wonderful sea view. The food is diverse and delicious. Employees are welcoming and friendly. Healthy internet connection is a must for me on holidays since I've daily routines online. The whole area is covered and there is healthy connection even by the sea.

We've asked to stay longer at the end but all rooms were booked unfortunately. In short Lukka is 100% recommended by me.

It is hard to find the right words to describe this wonderful hotel. It is situated in one of the most beautiful locations in Kas, right on the edge of a cliff which slopes down into the clearest, blue Mediterranean water you could ever imagine. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The restaurant is excellent, the breakfasts outstanding, the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to give the best service possible, and the peace and tranquility of the place makes you feel like you never want to go anywhere else. I'd return in a heartbeat! The historic town of Kas is about 10 minutes away by local bus, and this too is worth a visit.

If you're looking for a holiday destination that ticks all the boxes, the Lukka Hotel is it! It's definitely paradise.

Room Tip: 1st floor sea front rooms overlooking the pool have a balcony and a view to die for.
