I have just come back from a weeks stay in this hotel and would strongly advise you not to book.. The accomodation is very poorly decorated and the rooms are more like a youth hostel 1970's style.. The staff were very miserable and unhelpful even when we complained about the rooms..The food was very basic and the so called All Inclusive finished at 10pm so we hit the beach bars which had a much better atmosphere..The resort it's self is good and the Mountains are stunning the nightlife is quite busy..but watch out for the Russians..

I wont cover all the points made in previous reviews, because it has been summed up nicely by other unfortunate holiday makers who have had the displeasure of expierencing this awful hotel !!
We arrived in the early hours to also be grunted at and shown our pitiful room, which 8 hours later we were leaving to find alternative accomodation!!
Do Not Book This Hotel !!! Save Your Money and go elsewhere !!!

Just back from Kemer Hotel - they absolutely do not cater for British and we found the staff to be rude at times. All inclusive was a joke, it was more like full board with some water thrown in as the alcoholic drinks were skool beer from a bottle or vodka or wine- at it only lasted until 10pm - if you were to go the bar after 10pm - even a minute after, you got shouted at to pay extra AND if you had one drink on the table already they would not give you one until you finished it. There were no snacks, the meals were breakfast - eggs, lunch - pasta, rice and salad and dinner - whatever you never ate at lunch and something extra added in. The food was nice but no meat and got tedious. Once the food is gone, it is gone it is not filled back up. There were chips on one occasion but were gone quick and the chef would not make any more. There was only ONE bar - not three as advertised and NO entertainment. The rooms were clean but the toilet very very small. The sink was opposite the bath and you had to turn side ways to get to the toilet. The air conditioning was great though. We were on the bottom floor and the curtains did not cover the window - meaning people could look right in. We complained about this and were advised this would be rectified but it took until the last day for an extra curtain to be put up. The in-laws were on the 4th floor - there shower did not work and half a bath with no plug so unable to have a bath or shower - it was luck we were there. No lift so had to trail up the stairs every day. Resort was gorgeous but found it really expensive. All in all - the holiday itself was ok and never paid a fortune for the holiday but would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Arrived at the Kemer Hotel 7th June, 2008 about 07.00am. Only one man around at reception who didn't speak a word. Beckoned us with his finger to follow him up several flights of stairs to the top floor, dragging our suitcases along as there are no lifts. Unlocked the door to let us in our room; then disappeared and left us to it. The room was a double standard which was adequate for us as a family of four. Bathroom on the small side; shower worked but floor always soaked through when we showered. There was a rather rough plughole in the floor where excess water was supposed to drain away but I caught my toe in it several times. Towels were changed every day. Linen on beds not fancy but clean. There was no telephone in the room as stated on the website but I'm not complaining as wouldn't have used it anyway. TV worked. Electric turned off when you locked door on leaving room so couldn't leave mobile on charge so charged it overnight. Air conditioning ok. Lovely view of mountains and surrounding area from our window.
Breakfast always the same but was to cater for all races; we found it ok. Dinner and tea always seemed to be the same food, often recycled from the previous meal or day and there was a definite lack of meat. We nearly cheered one day when we got some fish. Despite there not being much choice, most of the food was tasty probably typical of what Turkish eat?
Only one bar seemed to be in use, not three as stated on website but was adequate for the people who were there as it is only a small hotel. Bistro not in use.
The first time my daughter and me asked for lager, we thought the barman was going to collapse and we thought maybe he wanted to give it to the Germans and Russians rather than us. After a few times he seemed to come around to the idea. It was Skoll bier out of bottles which were kept in the fridge and tasted good but after about three days it changed to another brand and you could tell the difference. The wine was not good. Drinks choice for the children was poor. I was quite suprised that the Turkish people were not as friendly as I had been led to believe.

The pool was not big but the childen enjoyed playing in it. There was the usual problem with the sun loungers; towels appeared on them before breakfast. There would be a serious shortage of them when the hotel is fully booked - if that ever happens!

All in all, though, we had a good holiday as Kemer is a beautiful place; gorgeous scenery, lovely marina, great shops and restaraunts. There are also plenty trips you can go on. We particularily enjoyed the aquapark and dolphin show near Antalya but there are plenty cheap boat trips etc. The beach is pebbly but we were informed on our last day that there is a sandy cove on the other side of the marina which we didn't have time to go and see. No complaints about the weather either.

I would love to go back to Kemer but would try a 4 or 5* hotel.
The Kemer hotel as a 3* was ok for somewhere to stay but don't expect too much; for what we paid, I don't feel too peeved.

We booked the Kemer Hotel (3*) and did not have any high expectations but were bitterly disappointed with the room and the food, no choice at all apart from salad, pasta and rice. No meat dishes at all and no desserts . The room was tiny, the bathroom was a joke, the shower coming out of the wall flooded everywhere. The staff were rude and had no time for british guests eventhough there were quite a few of us, who all felt the same way as we did. The all inclusive drinks, were beer from a plastic bottle that was rarely cold as the bottles were left on the counter. The only spirit was vodka and warm wine. The hotel website was advertised at the all inclusive programme lasted till 11pm but was actually 10pm.
Myself and four other guests suffered severe stomach pains and cramps which cost me two days of the holiday.
Please do not book this hotel as I guarantee you will be disappointed. This was our third holiday in Turkey in the last 12 mths and Kemer was absolutely beautiful but book a higher class of hotel.

Hi been to Kemer in Antalya in Turkey, it is a lovely place but the hotel we stayed in was the pits its located in the centre of Kemer we was close to the pier which had some wonderful boats in it and yachts.
KEMER HOTEL this hotel is NOT for people from the BRITISH isles they don't cater for us, IF u go to this hotel expect to EAT pasta and rice DAY IN DAY OUT its FOWL plus its all recycled if u don't eat it in the afternoon it will be put out to u the tea time or the next day there is not a DESSERT to be seen in between meals or after meals there is no SNACKS and ur beer is poured from plastic bottles which is CHEAP and nasty and also ur POP ie cola and orange NOT (fanta or coke) is cheap drinks and all left on the side to get really warm i told the waiters to put them back into the fridge which he turned round and said NO plus they were flat
the bathrooms r tiny if u stay at the top as we did and there is no lifts and we had to clime 5 flights of stairs everyday and night and for there toilet in reception its sideways which its disgusting so u have to sit on it sideways, which if u go u will see But please Dont waste ur money cos u will be disappointed as alot of people were moved we asked to be moved but didn't get that far. people we met there will be putting reviews on too when they return home, this place is beautiful but the hotel is a disgrace
