When we first arrived we were disappointed that there were things you had to pay for, like fresh juice for breakfast. Some russians use their elbows to get ahead in the restaurant. But the staff was really nice and tried to talk English. We met many nice "Ali's" that were doing everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Most bartenders were also sure to not let people cut the line. There were many activities for teenagers. The location was beautiful, there was free wifi. The bedroom we had was OK, the beds were a bit hard and we did not like that they turned off the AC during the night.
The food was OK, a little short on protein. We enjoyed some different foods that we are not used to. The à la cart was good, but again a lot of unclarity about if the food would cost anything. The information for booking these meals was a mess, you could only book for the next three days, the menus were all mixed together and you had to wait in line.
We loved snorkeling and seeing the fish and the sea turtles. The hotel clearly caters to the Russians but if you were nice it seemed like they enjoyed finding other cultures among the guests. Sometimes the different entertainment were competing and it got quite noisy.More
