this was our first trio to Antalya/Kemer we have a 6yr and 3yr old. first impressions was that when we arrived the reception staff (murat) was excellent and spoke perfect English.
this place has an amazing choice of food in the main restaurant for breakfast , lunch and Dinner where the staff are polite at all times and very accommodating.
The service Manager ( Sadik) was just great ! as no problem too small for him, when we needed milk for our youngest he would get it for us.
service staff.

Gizem

Dilan
Eyup
Demet ( Kahve )

The pool areas are very clean at all times, with Life guards in attendance.
end of the day this place will and did cater for our every need. weather this be a visit to the spa centre, games area or one of the specialist restaurants. the choice is simply yours!

There are many different nationality's who stay here and lots of Russians, Serbians, Austrians etc. with this in mind their manners are very few and far between, be aware!

we do have a down side to this only to say that we feel sorry for staff as they must work in long sleeve shirts in 40+ degree heat. i believe that the management could review the uniform option for their staff, as i for one would not like to have to do what they do in that kind of heat.

We have just returned from 2 wks in the lap of luxury at this hotel- I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough- our 7yr old son say's its his best holiday ever[even better than Disneyland Florida!!!] The kids club staff were absolute stars, so attentive, and such varied activities- kids banana boats etc!! The lifeguards at the slides were also fabulous, again attentive, safety conscious, but full of fun- even joining in on the slides! The guest relations {Jasmin] was an absolute credit to the hotel- nothing too much trouble, tailoring a personal service, and even pulling out all the stops to mark my birthday , which was most appreciated. The overall resaurant manager was a fabulous guy, who ensured a positive dining experience morning to night. the animation team were outstanding and so hardworking- Mert was our personal favourite and became like family. All in all memories to last a lifetime- book as you will not be disappointed, and pay no heed to the negativity-We met a number of Scottish and English families, and our son mixed well with all nationalities- as they say -a holiday is what you make of it!!!!!!

Before you read this, I go away at Keast twice a year, and have never complained about a hotel/ holiday - but this place tested by patience. Before you book you need to be aware of the following:

1) The hotel relies upon Eastern European travellers. Average occupancies are 75% Russian, 5% UK. The staff speak hardly any English, due to the high number of Russians, Germans, ukraines.

2) As the hotel relies on the eastern Europeans, the staff are told that they need to make them happy at almost any cost (this was told to us by a member of the team who had recently started work here)

3) The area of Kemer is one of the most expensive areas in turkey for any goods, food, snacks, trips etc When you go to pay for a can of Coke - you are asked "Dollar? Euro" as they prefer these currencies. A 2hr boat trip costs £25 per person, where as the average price anywhere else in turkey is £10-£15.

4) Thomas Cook rated this hotel 5* in 2011 (when we booked) and they downgraded to 4* in 2012.

5) If you like the look of the massive rooms over looking the ocean & pool, do not book via a British company as these are reserved for the Russians - BUT Thomas Cook will say that the "balconys do not comply with British H&S terms" Despite all the balconys all being the same.

The hotel and it's surroundings are amazing, a stunning location and grounds. But I wish the management / owners stood back and saw what happens on the bars, pool areas.

We booked a suite for our honeymoon, arrived and was placed into a Famiy room (2 bedrooms) when questioned this with reception they told me that we had the right room. In a nutshell I got the room descriptions from the hole website and out this to both Rep and hotel. We were then moved.

Bar Service - great selection of drinks, but only ever 1 person serving customers despite the being staff cutting lemons, wiping sides, texting on phone. Lack of leadership meant you wait 5-10mins to get served, and if someone pushes in (which happens a lot) then the member of staff does not ask them to join the queue.

Food - massive selection! Great if you love fish, always fresh fish for evening meals. Alternatives such as pastas, chips, bakes available also. Great selection of fesh fruit, salads, desserts.

Hotel facilities - again great, Spa was awesome!

Pool area - pool area great BUT they allow people to reserve sun beds. We were going down at 8am and 95% of the beds were taken already. Eastern Europeans would reserve 2 beds in the sun, additional beds in the shade. In one case I saw 4 beds reserved before 8am, and when I went up to our room at 15:30 NOBODY had sat on them. (The hotel management read these reviews by the way - and yes I took pics on my phone as I could believe my eyes whilst me and my 5month pregnant wife SAT on the floor as all beds gone) slides nice though.

Animation team - THE BEST PART OF THE HOTEL!!! Cracking team, encourage you to join in, but do not hassle you at all. Evening shows great fun and some of the best I have seen! Well done guys!

In all this could of been such a better holiday if the hotel installed some rules, leadership and focused on customers equally and fairly. Again this is not just my view, but also other British customers and members of the hotels staff.

We normally Go to shame el sheik - Maybe he management of fantasia want to go to a true 5* there and see how you should provide customer service.

P.s - booked a "al a carte" Italian meal (4day wait) walked in, got a drink, shown to our seat, nobody came to take a food order for 35mins, only 7 tables of people, after 45mins still no food order and the staff cleared away our cuterley, glass, side plates........ Summed up the hotel, lack of attention.

Room Tip: Pretend to be Russian and ask for a Sea / Pool room. Sorry but true.

We stayed in this lovely hotel in September of last year and had a really enjoyable holiday, we therefore decided to book again for 2012.
The hotel is really nice and very spacious,We booked a junior suite and it was great, so much space and really comfortable, with a bedroom and separate sitting area, large bathroom and second toilet and washbasin, also tea and coffee making facilities and well stocked minibar.
Gardens are very large and well maintained, a pleasure to wander around.
We found the staff very helpful especially Nilda (sales manager) and Yasamin (Guest Relations) unfortunately the same could not be said of the Thomas Cook rep who showed little interest in his guests.
Food was of a high standard with lots of choice in both the main restaurant and the a-la-carte our favourite being the Turkish and in the coffee shop the baileys coffee was to die for.
We had only one complaint which was shared by many people and that was CATS, far too many and often in areas where people were sitting to enjoy a meal, as I am petrified of cats it was not a pleasant experience but as some people feed them from their table I suppose this is to be expected.
The resort is really nice and is very well suited to anyone with walking difficulties as it is on the level, and local buses (dolmus) will take you to other resorts if you feel like a change, however it is a good area for anyone who likes to walk.
If you are thinking of booking please don't hesitate, we are so looking forward to our return later in the year.

Room Tip: Request a garden view room and if possible upgrade to a Junior Suite as they cost only a little extr...

We stayed at the Fantasia for 11 nights from 19-30 June and it was most enjoyable. This is the first time we have been to Turkey and found the Hotel to be excellent value for money. The staff work extremely hard, the hotel is spotless, especially around the pool area. The animation team were most entertaining and are enthusiastic for you to join in with various activiities. We had a turkish bath at the hotel on our first day which was not cheap (approx £40 incl a coffee scrub and a top to toe aromatherapy massage) but found the treatment to be very effective for obtaining a lasting tan! the spa area is lovely.

The food is varied and there is something for everyone. The restaurant can be very busy at times but copes well considering the volume of people. There are four a la carte restaurants available, we tried the italian (our favourite), the fish (delicious) and the chinese (OK) but we did not have time to try the Turkish one. The dolphin pool bar provides tasty snacks from 12-4pm (also a lady makes fresh savoury pancakes nearby, they are delicious!). There is also a Turkish coffee bar which serves cakes and fruit during the day, try these if you have room.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, a mini bar which is re-stocked daily. There is a free digital safe in every room (nice touch as we have had to pay extra in the past at other hotels). You may wish to bring extra coat hangers though as there were only 4 in our room.

About 100 yards outside the hotel complex, on the right across the road, there is Pipo travel. We booked a boat trip which was great fun (the captain was most entertaining!) and a cable car trip up the mountain, this can work out cheaper than through the hotel.

There were not many English visitors, but more than I expected, a variety of nationalities and everyone seemed to get on. I expected to get up at the crack of dawn to save 4 sunbeds but this is not necessary as there were plenty around the pool and on the main beach area. Also try out the jetty, the views are fantastic. A lovely hotel, so much to do or relax as you please, definitely recommended.

Room Tip: Do not choose a promo room (means promotional, they are smaller, with very small balcony).

Just arrived back from 2 weeks at the hotel fansasia de luxe and i must say that it is a lovely hotel but needs just a few things done to make it a great hotel. One is that there are no facilities on the beach such as toilets and anywhere to get a drink,if you need any of these you have to go back to the hotel which from the jetty is a bit annoying. Also the air conditioning in the restaurant, halls and bars was non existent but great in the rooms.the staff do the best they can but there just is not enough of them to cope i have never seen so many plates broken in a restaurant. There is only one member of staff behind the bars serving at one time so there can be a bit of a wait sometimes. The beach is a little stoney but no trouble if you have beach shoes also tha mini bar was not stocked every day and they kept running out of certain refreshments, overall it's not a bad hotel and with a few more staff it would be a lot better.Out of 10 i would give it a 8.

Room Tip: get a room at the back of the hotel which over looks the gardens.

Just back from two weeks at this lovely hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the weather was great. Toooooo hot the first week. A few days it got to 46 degrees but then there was a thunder and lightning storm at night and the 2nd week it was usually 33 -35 degrees which was lovely. Still 24-26 at night. Our room was enormous with a 3 piece suite and a coffee table. Kettle in room with tea and coffee making facilities. Great! The cleaning in our room could have been better but in all the rest of the Hotel it was spotless. Clean towels every day but bed changing was not what I would expect in a 5 star hotel. We spoke to reception and bed was changed right away. Reception staff all speak very good English and are very helpful. Our room overlooked the beautiful gardens where they have a picnic every Tuesday.
The food was very good with lots of choices and was always hot. There was always two choices of soup lunch time and dinner and choices of fish lamb chicken, loads of vegetables and varieties of potatoes. The sweets looked amazing but I resisted the temptation and stuck to the fruit. Strawberries cherries apples oranges etc. .....delicious. The salad selection was fantastic we even had smoked salmon one day. The waiter service in the restaurant was not too good as they were rushed off their feet. We had often finished our main course before we got our wine/beer/water. They definitely need more staff in the restaurant and terrace bar. There is also a Chinese Restaurant which was ok and an Italian Restaurant which was great. There is a Fish Restaurant and a Turkish Restaurant which we didn't go to but heard good reports from fellow guests. There is a beach bar (12-4) and Dolphin Bar open all day where you can get food. Actually you can get food nearly all day if you want to.
The drinks at the Terrace Bar are very good with Smirnoff Vodka and several brands of Whisky. The rum is fine and there are loads of cocktails to choose from. We found that if you tip any of the waiters they will look after you very well. They always check to see if your glasses are empty and bring another drink to your table. The wine is very good too.
We did find that some of the staff have no English at all which did cause a few problems but then we don't speak any Turkish so why should we expect everyone to speak English. There were not many Brits at this hotel it was mostly Russians, a few Germans and a few Dutch. We were told 80% were Russians but I don't know how accurate that is. They certainly don't believe in queing and they sure do fill their plates!!!
The pool is lovely and big and very warm. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and the same at the beach. We mostly stayed at the pool and enjoyed the music and the entertainment from the Animation Team. They all work so hard and are not pushy if you say you don't want to join in anything. They put on some shows at night which were quite good.
This Hotel is not actually in Kemer but in an area called Camyua 20minutes from Kemer. If you go out the front gates of the hotel and turn right then cross the dual carriageway you will find loads of shops where you can buy all your pressies to take home. We had a problem with the currency as we took Turkish Lira and English money with us. The shops prefer to take euros or dollars before Lira and at a push will take English (not Scottish) pounds. The confusion is when you are trying to work out the price of what you are trying to buy and convert it into pounds. Still don't know if I got any bargains or not.
We went on a boat trip which we bougt from Pipo Travel not far from the Hotel. The rep was charging £50 each and we got the same trip for £15. We were picked up at Pipo Travel at 8.40 and returned to our hotel at about 5.30 . It was a fantastic day out. Can thoroughly reccomend it. We also went to the local market which is held every Wednesday and got a taxi from the front of the hotel for 5 euros. Lots of stalls and you have to haggle for everything.
All in all we had an excellent holiday and I can honestly reccomend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of choosing it for their holiday.

Room Tip: Our room was 2208 which is the same level as reception. It was enormous and it overlooked the beaut...
