“You don't need to spend long here!”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

We visited the Waterfall as part of an organised day trip. Unfortunately we were there the day after Ramadan had finished,.It was a festival day and the place was packed! There is a short walk down to the waterfalls and the view is pretty spectacular. The place is full of shops and ice cream stalls aimed at tourists.

We only spent a few minutes looking at the waterfall and the rest of the time looking around the shops. I wouldn't go here unless it was part of a planned itinery on an organised day trip.

“Its ok but 30 minutes is plenty of time!”

A nice stop off en route to Manavgat but don't get too excited :) Pretty waterfall, ICE COLD water! And some fun ice cream vendors here. Worth popping in if passing but I wouldn't make a special visit :)

“Not worth the time and money”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

I had read some negative reviews but also some positive so we went with an open mind. Thankfully the entry cost was minimal. This is nothing spectacular, in fact we have a viaduct in a local park that is bigger and more spectacular back at home. Litter was everywhere and the place was just full of shops etc. You even had to pay to use the WC but this was not a nice experience despite paying. I would avoid this attraction.

“Not worth a special trip”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

If you are in the area then go but else I would not book a special trip to see the waterfall.

Before going I did not know much about the waterfall but on arriving the whole surrounding area of the waterfall is fenced off and they charge 5TL to get in (I do not mind paying that is only about £1.50) the problem is the area inside is just horrible loads of over priced cafes , food stands and gift shops, as well the stall where you can get your picture taken with a parrot, something I particularly dislike, especially when you see the man handling the parrot hitting it on the beak and making it dance to some music that was playing.

The waterfall itself is ok, nothing spectacular and it is hard to get any good photos of it due to the amount of people that were crammed in when we were there, we really struggled to get close to the railings for a family photo.

This could have a real natural beauty but they ruined it by turning it into a horrible tourist attraction, which I find strange when you compare it to most of the ancient ruins in Side which you can walk freely through.
