Thank, you all at Myra, I wish we had more time there getting to know you all better. Very friendly, and very clean, large apartments and lovely staff. The hotel is a little out of the way but a taxi only costs £5 to Side and £7 to Manavgat market (Taxi prices are fixed, rates depending on area and distance), and there is a beach bus. Korner Bar and Koşem restaurants nearby are good.
Be careful in Side town it's a bit of a tourist trap.
I found that the comments on Tripadvisor are fairly accurate.
A little Turkish goes a long a long way.
Görüşürüz all at Myra.

Just returned from Myra. Nothing wrong with the location at all, walked into Side several times to the Centre with 3 kids, 3,9, and 15 years, took 40 minutes but a nice walk. Dolmus buses run at the top of the road to Side every few minutes and to Manavgat (Little Turkish City) costing 1-2 Lira each, clearly marked so hard to catch the wrong bus. 5 small to medium supermarkets in close proximity, 50metres to 100 metres and all cheap enough. This is our 18th year in Turkey and we chose to return to Side as its a great place. The Myra is a 3 star, cheap enough for food at the hotel, family run and certainly NOT there to sell you things, you get left alone to make your own choices, I even queried the extra 20 lira put on my air con bill and was offered it back, they just wanted to keep all guests happy and put absolutely no pressure on anyone to buy anything. ALL staff very relaxed and VERY friendly, rooms were tidy but not 5 star, certainly no complaints at all, if you needed something they would bring it to you, always more than happy to help you. We would certainly return there, like I said we have been many many times to Turkey and can honestly say this hotel posed no issues at all to us and the kids, thoroughly enjoyed it and the price we paid ( £150a week) was excellent value for 5 people, Highly recommended. Went on a Bus safari, left at 0920 and returned at 1750, £15 each and free the 3 year old, brillaint laugh and saw a lot of the real Turkey, local guy we know call Mehment booked trip and looked after us again, English Girlfiend and good lad if you need trips I can supply his mobile. Will certainly consider going back to the Myra for sure, Well Done Myra and all the Staff, 10/10 to you all.

Stayed here for a week and I was so sad leaving. The atmosphere there is great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Didn't enjoy saying goodbye to the staff and would go back in a heartbeat. Lovely place to stay, lovely bar, the pool is handy too. I would definitely recommend the Myra Apart Hotel.

We had a great holiday at the Myra. The staff were so friendly that we spent a lot of our time there with them.We had some great nights dancing and laughing with them at the outdoor poolside bar.Our apartment was huge.We paid a small extra nightly fee for air conditioning which was in the livingroom and the bedroom. The cooking facilities were basic but as its so cheap to eat out we didnt really need to use them. The Hotel was in a quiet residential area away from all the traffic noise but still within easy walking distance of lots of places to eat.The beach was a good 20 mins walk but the hotel offered a free bus service. We however preferred to stay by the pool which was clean with plenty of sun beds.Infact the whole hotel was spotless.
We would like to recommend the turkish night and the day trip to Alanya which includes a boat, cave, castle trip.A visit to a banana plantation and a river picnic. It was great value for money. Also a visit to a Turkish bath is a must do.We will always remember our time at the Myra and all the people that worked there with much fondess and happiness, and would like to thank all the staff for giving us such a good holiday

The appartment is big. That's the only good point.
The main problem is the noise from the bar, which last until 2 a.m. Be prepared not to sleep.
The AC is not included and costs 5 eur. But there's only A.C. in the living-room so the bedrooms are too hot (as I said, the appartment is big).
The cleanliness is average, there is no pan to cook (or it is old or dirty). They do not want you to self-cater. I do not recommand this appartment.

Room Tip: Be far from the bar

Very nice hotel apartments. Staff very friendly and helpful and this added greatly to the overall holiday experience. Hotel is quite a distance from the beach ( and everything else) and is situated in a quiet, residential area. The Corner Bar is a good place to eat and is within easy walking distance. Daily bus service to the beach and cheap taxis get you to the town in 10 mins. The Thos. Cook day trips we went on (River trip and Perge/Aspendos) were excellent but the temperature while we were there was a bit too hot to enjoy to the max.
Would definitely stay here again.
