No problems here, food not fantastic but far from disappointing. Bit of a bun-fight when it comes to seating at busy dining times but nothing serious.
Staff very nice and efficient.
Nice and clean and the rooms very spacious, we had the top floor family duplex (split level) room which was very good.
If you fancy turkey then this will not disappoint you.

I can't really fault this hotel - very high standards all round. The place is spotless, staff plentiful, courteous, efficient and mostly multi - lingual, and many with a good sense of humour too. The quality and variety of food on offer is exceptional and it is all very well presented. The system with beach towels works well, the beach itself is very close, stretches for miles, and is busy without being crowded. The pool, though, is packed like sardines and even though the hotel has an apparent policy against it most of the sun beds around it have towels and personal effects placed on them by 6.30am. Amazing!
The evening entertainment, apart from one night with a Mongolian acrobatic troupe who were very good, was shocking. After going in hope of good stuff on the first couple of nights we went back for the first half hour every night just to be amused by how bad it was! And somewhere in the hotel or nearby there is someone selling laser pointers and apparently most parents cannot deny their kids having them - so be prepared to see green or red dots dancing on the performers, the stage, the walls, everywhere. And hope you don't get one shone straight in your eye! They are everywhere, annoying and potentially dangerous.
Not much to do in the local area - day trips were ok, the local Roman ruins being a highlight, and Side, a short bus ride away, is a nice tourist spot with lots of restaurants and bars. The ruins there are excellent. See separate review on the restaurant Ocakbasi in Side - very good.
The Roman theatre at Aspendos is very good and the ancient ruined town of Perge is spectacular.

This was our first "all inclusive" vacation, and we took it to give our son a break from our normal vacations (lots of sight seeing). Great relaxing time. The pools are great and spread out so that you can always find an area that isn't crowded. We hung out at the water slides the most and really enjoyed the many sides they have. Our son also loved the luna park that opens at 19:00. Plenty of food, and always something available to eat, you just have to figure out what area is open at that time. The food is good, but nothing special. We ate at one a la carte restaurant the first night, but after seeing the food in the main dining room, we choose to eat there each night. Unbelievable spread of food, and wonderfully presented. As for drinks, endless supply and easy to get (no wait) but like most places in Europe, no very good cocktails. Drinkable, but below average from any American bar or club (which is 99% of all of Europe). Service is what I would say really makes this place worth while. Everyone is nice and attentive. They genuinely seem happy to be there. The beach area is clean and there are enough chairs to find a place to settle down. We did have Wifi in our room, but too slow for Facetime or Skype most days.

First time in Turkey and first time all-inclusive. Would thoroughly recommend the Royal Dragon. Hotel had everything - food was excellent (although Italian a la carte restaurant was not to our taste) lots to do on site, and only a short bus ride into historic Side. Staff very polite and helpful - all in all a relaxing break. One tip though - don't buy food and drink at the airport on your way home - ludicrously expensive.

Room Tip: The duplex rooms are ideal for families. Up and down stairs they have twin beds on the lower floor...

Really pleased with the hotel, pools and beach. Very clean and well maintained. Rooms very modern and beds comfy. Staff friendly (not great English). Food high quality with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend this hotel and would go back.
