“Good value in low season”
Reviewed 16 February 2013

We booked with a German travel agent for this resort incl flights. It's the first time that we do an all-inclusive resort, but we thought for only 4 nights it was worth the risk to get away from the gray winter. Was it? YES! Great value: 2 pax, AMS-Antalya-AMS flight with taxi transfers, resort + all meals and local drinks and alcohol. 808 euro

Resort: Busy. Average age was 65 and most stay 2-4 weeks. It's not a place for young folks but we were a couple and enjoyed the facilities.

Rooms: Nice decor, but not 5 star standard. They stock the frigo daily with juice and water. Small flat screen tv with emphasis on German and Turkish stations. Note: German is the preferred language and most of the staff are fairly fluent. English is not spoken much.
Free wifi is available in the lobby and bar area (first floor) but not really in the rooms. Regardless it is very slow. We did not need a/c and the temperature was perfect this time of year. Robes are provided and a safe.

Food: Plentiful, diverse, huge amount of choice, very tasty. Buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner with additional smaller versions offered: late breakfast, afternoon pastries, midnight soup/snacks. Plenty of salads and vegetables and hot meat entrees (excl pork) and bread selection. We loved the Turkish ice cream (caramel) that was served in the evening buffet.

There are two main bars that serve drinks (free of charge) from about 10am to midnight. They have a nice choice of cocktails, wine and beer (although the local alcohol isn't all that great, you eventually get used to it). We asked for turkish coffee instead of the machine (instant?) coffee. They were always very accommodating and service throughout the premises was top notch. We were very impressed by the staff.

You can book in advance one of the full service restaurant, first come basis with very limited seating. They serve a prix fixe menu which is nice but honestly we preferred the buffet options. Considering the complexity of pre-booking, it's not really worth the effort.

They also serve drinks at the beach/snack bar with lounge chairs in the sand next to the ocean. The 2 pools were always busy when the sun was out but the beach area was quiet.

There is also entertainment (animation is the term that they use) who organize activities and perform in the evening. You don't need to leave the resort, with all the options. But there are bus excursions you can pay additionally to join.

The resort is about 7 km from the center of Side town. It's a nice walk on the beach taking about 1.5 hrs. We walked there and took a dolmus (shared) bus back for 1.5 euro/3 lira. It stops running at 6-ish so plan your trip accordingly.

We then wandered leisurely around the area of the amphitheater and arrived at the Apollo at sunset. The town seemed a bit void of people in this low season which was nice. There is no entrance fee for what we saw. Highly recommended. Esp getting some fitness after all the food at the resort.

We went to the resort's independently run Spa. There are a few fitness machines, sauna (steam and dry) and the Hamam. Men and women are together. There is a small changing area. The massage and Turkish exfoliation treatment were offered (rather hard sell tactics though) for 50 euro which we found too expensive. I got a 1 hour massage just 5 mins away in the shopping bazaar for 55 lira which was simple and okay. Not worth the effort though, but my husband did get a great haircut at one of the barbershops there for 12 lira.

Tip: Everyone seems to quote euros and even price things in euros. We went to an ATM at the Antalya airport thinking that we would get a better rate to pay in lira, but it wasn't worth the effort. Unless you are staying a few weeks and traveling around a lot independently, just bring euros. They even give back change in euro!

Me my wife and my little baby boy (1 year and 5 month) spend 2 weeks here between 16-23 August .
We was suppose to go to Adora Golf Resort but on 15 august we receive call that the hotel was overbooking ( that was really annoying and sad , the management from there must be more careful …very disappointed)

Food was quite varied although it could have been better, however I was very pleased.
The room was clean, minibar OK, AC work properly.
The only annoying thing with this hotel is that space is pretty tight, at least the pool is disaster
Basically this agreement Hotel is 4.5 *, there are some things improved but otherwise is perfect, maybe it is better that I came here because the Adora Golf Resort mocked their customers with overbooking , 0* for management there.

My family stayed at this hotel for two weeks in July 2012. We were all-inclusive, which I would say was a very good choice! The food is good, cleaning is good, rooms are equipped with AC, and internet-connection can be found in some rooms and mainly in the lounge. Very short walking-distance to the beach, which is very practical! I travelled as a norwegian, 17 year old girl together with my parents and some friends of theirs. The hotel made my "boring", family trip very good actually! Everywhere you go, there are nice, friendly and helpful hotel-workers who takes good care of you. The service was amazing, have no complaints there. If you are interested in night-life and partying, you can travel by taxi to Old-Side and experience it there at it's best, but there are also different "happenings" hosted by the hotel, suitable for everyone. So generally, there is something for everyone to do, you won't be bored!
The only thing is probably that the staff at the hotel does not have very good english-skills, most of them speak german and turkish.
But all in all, the hotel is amazing, and I had a fantastic stay! And a very good destination if you are looking for a relaxed and quiet vacation, and I would especially recommend it for couples with young kids, they will never be bored! We had an amazing holiday, and I'm sooo looking forward to going back next summer!!

Our family from Norway stayed at the hotel for a week in June 2012. Two adults and two youths, with their own rooms, only a door between. This is a great hotel that can be recommended. We were "All Inclusive" and it was very much good food there. The rooms are beautifully appointed with A / C, cleaning is good, and it was possible to use the internet too in the room. The staff are friendly, even if English skills are varied. Situated on the beachfront, and it is a short distance to go there, where you can eat what you want the all day. Kings Palace offers perhaps along with the other hotels, a resort higher standard than what we have seen for example in Spain / Gran Canaria. We went with some friends, and they were also pleased with the hotel / location. GH in Norway.

. We (32 Friends) stayed here for 7 days all inclusive to participate in a Linedance Festival in Antalya. Hotel Management were not aware of our desire to have linedance facilities in the hotel but adjusted quickly to provide. Service excellent. Facilities such as Beach, Pools, Hamam, Fitness and Health Care centre very good. Internet Hotel Video accurately illustrates all. Rooms comfortable although our aircon heating system was not adjustable so room a little cold at night. May have been a function of economising in the Winter. Food good and varied. Speciality Restaurants good. Would have enjoyed internet in Room. only available in Reception Area. Excursions many and varied. Good location 60kms East of Antalya. Manevgat 8kms and Side 4 kms served by local buses. Latter delightful with wonderful Roman Ruins and good shopping opportunities and good value restaurants. Altogather a nice area but could imagine bit hectic in high holiday season. Hotel Caters mauinly for Gernan Guest but all are welcomed. Sensibly in the interest of their guests, Hotel closing for Wintertime whilst new hotel build project next door progresses. Thank you Aydinbey and espeiially Yusuf and Cetin bey for a very enjoyable holiday at your hotel. We shall come again for a Winter Break.

I have just spent a week at Aydinbey King's Palace with my children (age 10 and 13). The hotel was very nice, clean rooms with aircond., free minibar with softdrinks. Clean pools (only problem was that people put towles on the sunbeds early in the morning, so all were occupied aleady before breakfast). Very friendly staff, great entertainment and entertainment-team, very nice beach with lots of sunbeds. The food in the buffet restaurant was very nice and there was so much to choose between. We went to the Hammam the first morning and got a nice treatment with peeling, foam massage and full body massage, so nice and all money worth. The children enjoyed the stay as much as I and I felt safe to let them run around by them self in the hotel area. I can fully recommend this hotel for families with children at all age.
