This hotel was prevoiusly know as ARTEMIS, rumour has it that it changed it's name due to having a bad name! It does not deserve 1 star, I have stayed in better 2 star hotels.
AS STATED: Mini bar- NO, dangerous looking unplugged fridge.
AS STATED: Free Turkish Bath-NOT, 20 & 30 euros.
AS STATED: Sky TV- NO.
AS STATED: Midnight snacks- 'old soup' said waiter, left over from lunch.
AS STATED: Gym: NO
AS STATED: Boutique- Never open.
AS STATED: Evening Entertainment: NOT.
No towels in room on arrival, took me a whole morning to get towels. Reception staff speak very little english.
I had to take my food to my room every night as there are not enough chairs. There is no air conditioning or fans in eating area (can not bring myself to call this a restaurant!) There are flies all over the tables and on the food!! Food was disgusting, cold and certainly not 4 star.
As for all inclusive drinks, whiskey, vodka, beer, 1 barrel of white, 1 barrel of red wine which was undrinkable. Chemical squash only, fresh orange was available twice, CHARGED to your room.
I did not have a sunbed all week, I had to lie on the floor - 115 rooms, 2+ occupancy- 40 sunbeds??
HEALTH & SAFETY did not exist in this hotel, so many accidents involving medical treatment. The pool is not deep enough for the slide, children had grazed knees. Child sucked into pump/filter and was badly bruised. Drinks served in glass around pool area!
When a glass was broken in the pool, management did not clear the pool, a litttle girl cut her foot the next day, only then did they 'hoover' the pool.
My room was not cleaned all week - I was told I needed to ask !, gobsmacked!! Should housekeeping be the hotels responsibility?
I have travelled extensively and I do not expect english standards, I am very tolerant and it is unusual for me to complain. I fear if I do not make holidaymakers aware of this, someone could be seriously sick or hurt.
