Just arrived from our second holiday in this beautiful hotel and the only thing which makes me sad is that we didn't stay longer. We were really happy to meet many people from last year who remembered us as well and were so helpfull and friendly all the time. In ten days I didn't meet any single employee who would be angry or rude.
We recognized immediately the reconstruction results as the Moxi bar, Patisserie or absolutely new Cabanas on the beach which makes the hotel even more modern and comfortable. We also appreciated fresh fruits and vegetables served twice per day on the beach. In comparison we maybe missed a bit the fridge with water on the beach but it wasn't a problem to go for it to the bar.

The beach itself is beautiful, there's NEVER problem to find a place. It's big and spacious which is definitely a thing you can't say about the hotels from neighbourhood. We also like going to the water from the end of the pier and relaxing there on the coaches. It would be maybe good to control more the guests from other hotels who often don't respect the rules (with jumping and sitting wet on the coaches), but it's just a detail to mention. Talking about beach I have to thank all Yakamoz team as well, they're really friendly and ready to make you experience anything from watersports you want.

The food in all restaurants and especially the main one is really good. There are many choices so you won't get bored (we liked the special turkish, seafood and asian evenings as well). And I'll definitely miss plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. We never had a problem to find a table in the main restaurant, what happened quite often during our previous stays in different hotels (main season).

We got exactly the room we booked for - superior one for 3 persons. It was spacious corner room with balcony and sea and pool view. Always full minibar and no problem with room service.

I can't say so much about the animation as we were staying mostly on the beach, but the whole team was friendly and we really liked their Mamma mia show, nice!

I can highly recommend Sentido Perissia. We will be happy to come back again to that friendly atmosphere made by extraordinary staff.
They' ll really make you feel like home.

Dear Pavla V,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review about our hotel. It gives us the opportunity to increase our hotel’s quality in order to offer you a better service.

We have recently placed a fridge on the beach so people can take water directly at the beach without having to go to the bar. Our beach concept is still in place and offers you snacks throughout the day.

The hotel pier is available for everyone but the sun loungers are for hotel guests only. We have spoken to our lifeguards and security in charge; they will control this more efficiently.

We would like to thank you once again for spending your holidays with us and hope to see you again in Sentido Perissia.

Best regards,

We have just returned from here having being our 8th visit at this hotel.

We was looking forward to returning to see the renovations in which the hotel has been through since our previous visit last year. We sort of knew what to expect as we had seen pictures on the internet..

The rooms were nice and now have the modern touch about them in which they which was much needed!

The newly Moxi bar was a lot more modern, and the Patisserie down on the Ground floor which is much more accessible and nice to go in for a relaxing drink and cool down in the afternoon!

The new Animation team are lovely who made our holiday.. Mr Volkan, Mr Egor, Mr Emir, Mr Yavuz, Mr Lawsen, Mr Jamal, Mr Big Boy, Miss Lili & the rest! Always had a laugh with them! :)

The Lion King & Mamma Mia were just brilliant and we enjoyed every minute! Well done everyone! :)

However we found this year not as good as the previous years, with quite a few rude staff with things being just too much trouble - like just simply asking you for a drink! Also ignoring you being stood at the bar and serving someone else.

The Air Con in public areas not working for example the Lobby & Reception, and for August in peak season and the temperatures still 30 degrees and above at night this is a bit ridiculous!

The Wi-Fi being hit & miss in public places, such as the room some nights it took me an hour just to connect and then once connected it took a while to load! And by then it was time for dinner!

There was no toaster when we first arrived, and after speaking to Guest Relations a 4 slice one appeared a week into our stay.

Sunbeds - having to get up at 6:00am on holiday to reserve a sunbed is not the one! And if you don't get up you don't get one, so you don't really have a choice if you prefer to be round the pool. Which we do for the entertainment.

Most days whilst we were there it was 50 degrees which it was the hottest it's ever been in August since we have been going to Turkey over the past 4 years!

Overall, we will be thinking carefully if we return to this hotel again after this experience, as we don't feel it lived up to the 5 * rating! Which is a shame because normally we wouldn't think twice!

We also spoke to a lot of returning guests like ourselves and they felt the same way.. It's not the Perissia we know & love!

Dear Olivia Holman,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review about our hotel. It gives us the opportunity to increase our hotel’s quality in order to offer you a better service.

We feel sorry that your 8. holiday in our hotel did not meet up to your expectations. Each guest is very important to us.

As you noticed, the temperatures and the percentage of air humidity were much higher this year. The air conditioning has been working more hours when we compare it to the same time last year.

We would like to thank you once again for spending your holidays with us and hope to see you again in Sentido Perissia.

We were a family of 4 and stayed at the hotel in August 2014. Arrived at midnight after coach transfer broke down. Reception staff were excellent and got us checked in quickly and showed us to our rooms. Rooms had tiny balcony about a foot deep which was only good for drying towels and swimming costumes and was a bit disappointing.

Got up first morning and struggled to get sun beds by the pool at 8.30am! Got up next morning at 7am and most beds were taken! We made use of the Cabanas on the beach for 3 days during our visit (€50 /day) and it was nice not to have to worry about sunbeds as Cabanas were pre-booked. These were like an oasis as there as no rush and didn't feel cramped by the pool.

We made use of the restaurants as a change to the buffet which was nice to be waited on but wouldn't recommend the Chinese as needed to pay €15 each and it wasn't great. We used the outside terrace to eat in the evening as this was quieter than the buffet and our waiter, Sadettin made our stay a pleasant one with his great service and always managed to find us a table somehow.

The rooms were spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel and the staff always pleasant and helpful no matter what the question.

The pools were clean and spacious except the sunbeds which were a real problem. There was little room between the beds and had to get up early to ensure that you got any beds at all. Beach beds were always available but no bar close to get drinks etc.

Overall, nice holiday and hotel but shame about the sunbed situation

Dear bakers91,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review about our hotel. It gives us the opportunity to increase our hotel’s quality in order to offer you a better service.

The reservation you have made was Standard room with French Balcony. In case you wanted to have a room with balcony, you should have made a reservation for a balcony room. This information can be obtained through your agency. In case there are rooms available in the hotel there is a possibility to upgrade to a balcony room.

In July and August a lot of people prefer the swimming pool. There are plenty of sun loungers which can be reserved after 07:00 o’clock in the morning. The cabanas at the beach offer you a more luxurious service. Our waiter takes care of your wishes in your private beach house.

We would like to thank you once again for spending your holidays with us and hope to see you again in Sentido Perissia.

We stayed here for 11 nights in August 2014. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 3. We arrived at 1am and the guy behind reception had a cold refreshing drink ready for us, which we thought was a nice gesture.

Our room was on the side that had not yet been refurbished. We had a double bed, a single bed and a camp bed. The room was clean and we were pleased when we found beer, water and soft drinks in our minibar fridge. The room was cleaned daily and if you left your towels on the floor, in the bathroom, the maid would change them daily.

Pool towels were in the room upon arrival and they can be changed by the indoor pool dally during the morning or early evening. Sun beds we found were a nuisance! My husband had to set an alarm for 6.45am to ensure we were able to get some as by 7.15am there were no beds available. The general rule was you were not allowed to put towels down before 7am and leave them, so people were hoping down at 6am, taking an ipad, book etc and waiting with the beds until 7am when you could leave them. Another problem were families of 3/4 people having 2/3 umbrellas so other families would be in the sun all day with no chance of shade, unless you went to the bar or indoors.

The restaurants were good. Paloma which is the main buffet restaurant has lots of choice but, even though it has a children's section, everyday it was the same - mashed potato, spaghetti bolognaise, soup, sausages/burgers, salad - my children got really bored with it. The breakfast was ok, but I can't eat eggs so I struggled as the best bits are the freshly cooked eggs/omelettes. Just be aware there is no bacon or 'proper' sausages so it's mainly pastries, salad, cheese etc. There is only one 4 slice toaster which takes about 5 minutes to cook the toast.
The a la carte restaurants are good, lots of choice, easy to book. Don't have steak though as it is really tough and not nice to eat at all.

Ice cream is only served during certain times of the day and you have to walk indoors, go up to the 3rd level and the. Bring it back out to your subbed by which time it has melted. So my kids got a bit frustrated by this. This is why I feel this hotel is more of a 3/4* hotel as the little things we have had in the past are not available at this hotel.

The entertainment team are friendly and go out of their way to speak to you but I found the shows repetitive as everyday was either a dance act or an acrobatic act and they all were really similar. The best show was The Lion King as they get the children involved and really make a huge effort.

Drinks are good but I found that when we went out to a bar in Side, the Efes was much nicer than Tuborg which was served in our hotel. Side was 25 Lira in a taxi and there are lots of shops selling fake goods. The only thing was we bought some football kits for my son and after washing them this morning the transfers have come off and we actually bought some of the more expensive, decent kits - so just be aware before you buy.

The hotel is situated next to a building site but you can walk to some local shops in about 8 minutes, it was so hot though (48 degrees in the day, 41 degrees at 7pm) we only did it once.

Overall the hotel is good and we would recommend it but our children were bored and come 10 pm all the entertainment has finished so most people go to bed. People fight over sun beds and they push past you in the restaurant. So we will return to Turkey, just not to this hotel.

Room Tip: Try and get a refurbished room if you can.

Dear blondemumoftwo,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review about our hotel. It gives us the opportunity to increase our hotel’s quality in order to offer you a better service.

Regarding the concept, ice cream service is available during lunch and dinner time in the main restaurant. We do have our patisserie at the first floor though for some sweet snacks in the afternoon and there are slushy drinks available at the Moxi Bar for the kids too.

Our breakfast buffet offers fresh pastries, sausages, spicy Turkish sausage and a lot of cold cuts and cheese. There should be something for everyone’s taste.

We would like to thank you for spending your holidays with us and hope to be able to welcome you again one day.
