“Ok, but the location is not good”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

We booked a very last-minute trip to Side (booked the day before!), there weren't a lot of hotels available save the Adora Garden so we booked it but went with very low expectations. However, the hotel itself wasn't too bad considering the low rate.
We got a fairly spacious two-room apartment, very basic but in quite good repair. The apartment had two balconies facing different directions. Housekeeping was good, front desk staff professional, however the bar/restaurant staff were overly friendly and familiar and kept pressing about joining their evening programs and seemed out of humour if you declined. The breakfast was not at all good, we tried it one day and then self-catered instead. An unexpected plus was the fitness room, not large but still useful since it was too hot for running.
The location is very poor, far from both Side centre and the beaches, a disadvantage only partly reduced by the daily shuttle bus to one of the beaches.
The clientele was mostly Scandinavian families with small children. The pool area was very small and was generally very busy and noisy with kids playing. I would not return to this hotel.

Me and my family stayed at Adora in june and it was a nice 3 star hotel. Nice people working in the bar and good cleaning of the rooms.
One thing that disturbed me was that i paid when we arrived for ac and safety box around 50e.
When we left the receptionist maid me pay again and stated that we did not pay when we arrived which is a big lie. We didn't receive the ac control without paying so therefor i am very sure that we paid. That is not good for their reputation and they should stop trying to scam their guest if they want them to come back.

Room Tip: Save your receipts every time, otherwise they will scam you

Hotel management did not take action. On check-out payment for already paid bills was requested. Pool area otherwise ok and rest of staff tried to make an effort. Transport to beach good, as well as wifi. Opposite a very loud hotel, program continues until almost midnight. Area offers nothing, you have to walk, or take bus or taxi to old town where all restaurants and shops are. Beach nice. Food ok. But watch out for thiefs! And use the safety box!

Room Tip: Not on top floor because the water pump is noicy and it is too hot there.

A pretty regular tourist hotel a 30 minute walk from central Side (or a 15 lire taxi ride). Actually a good place to stay because it's not so crazy and buzy.

The room we had had a balcony on both sides and it was great for 2 people with fridge and cooking possibilities. I wouldn't recommend staying 4 in the room - the 2 extra beds/sofas in the living room were extremely hard, even for sitting.

The pool was a bit crowded during prime time.
There was free beach shuttle service and free sun beds there.

The bartender was very friendly and it was a great place to have evening drinks. We had omelets and pizza one day for brunch and enjoyed it. Overall the service was very friendly and the staff were sweet people.

They tried pretty hard to sell their own evening programs. We were there for Turkish night - and I hate to say it but you should stay away from it. The food buffet was good but because of the tight program it was taken away before we even tried the desserts and fruit. The Turkish dance and belly dance was pretty good (but get a table far away to avoid being dragged up to dance twice!). Afterwards there was a loooong sales pitch about leather jackets, an equally long "fashion show" showcasing them and the most ridiculous "lottery" where you could win a trip to the factory that sold them and a free belt - but it was pretty much implied that it would take a day or so and you would have to buy a 1000 € jacket plus every ticket ended up being pulled out - coincidence or humbug?

Room Tip: If you choose pool view the rooms have balconies on both sides - which means you can always sit in t...

We stayed at Adora Garden hotel for two weeks in the summer of 2010. Our apartment had two rooms (kitchen included) and two balconys, one sunny and one in the shade. The apartment was nice with aircondition included. There was no TV and no radio. The restaurant served a very good meal and the staff was very serviceminded and friendly.
There was a disco close to the hotel that sometimes was a bit disturbing. The electricity ceased to work from time to time with and disturbing generator started (twice in two weeks).
The hotel is situated a bit too far from the beach, but a bus, free of charge, takes you to the beach. We found another beach but it took us about 40 minutes to get there by foot.
The hotel is very good but a bit too far from the old town where the interesting parts of Side is situated.
But: nice hotel, friendly staff, good restaurant!!
