Booked with Thompson, stayed 7th August for two weeks. Booked the deluxe rooms (in the main building)
Antalya airport was surprisingly quiet when we arrived mid afternoon, straight through passport control and not having to queue for a visa was a plus ! Transfer about an hour, no rep on the coach which seems to be the norm lately.
Cold face cloth and glass of bubbly on arrival and quickly shown to our rooms. I emailed before departure and requested high floor and adjacent rooms which was what we got.
The rooms are quiet small but are clean and comfortable. If you are next to the elevator then they are even smaller. Now as for deluxe, they may be for a four star but I have stayed in better standard rooms along the coast in 5* hotels in Belek. But having said that this was considerably cheaper than other similar accommodation in the Side area. The rooms were always cleaned to a high standard, towels and bedding changed when necessary and the mini bar and tea/coffee topped up every day, never had to ask for anything.
The food was of a good standard, but as with all AI holidays it gets a bit samey after a while. We found the buffet was quieter if we went for breakfast about 8am and dinner 8pm. it could get busy and I wish people with children would realise its not a playground ! The waiters worked hard to clear dirty plates, bring drinks and reset tables in heat approaching 40 degrees. Again I emailed ahead of our arrival to request a booking in two al a carte's for my birthday and wedding anniversary, the hotel made the reservations for us. The Chinese was a nice atmosphere, a set menu with only two choices for main course, nothing like you get here but was nice to be waited on. The steak again a set menu no choices you got what you were given but again it made a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the buffet. My son ate at the Italian and he said it was by far the best of the al a carte's.
The hotel also provided a bottle of champagne for my birthday and a bottle of red wine for our anniversary which was a nice touch.
Drinks were not all premium brands but again were acceptable and the Coke/Sprite/Fanta was not the syrupy type that you often get in hotels.
Gardens were kept immaculate, as were the pool area and beach first thing every morning.
Sun beds should not be reserved here until after 9am, if you placed a towel/book and left them, they should have been removed, we did see this happen on several occasions but it was a bit hit and miss. Premium spots were taken early, but you could always get a bed and shade on the beach. The sea bed was a bit rocky in places so you needed to be careful, we had a few stubbed toes. There was always something going on around the pool, Water polo, darts, archery, volley ball, football. pool games etc.
Did not see the evening entertainment, we liked to sit at the beach bar in the evening although some of the groups sounded dire !
Side was a taxi ride away 8 Euro, they are parked just outside the hotel. A typical Turkish town for the tourists full of fake goods, nice to have a wander in the evening. We stopped off at the Kiss bar for drinks, reasonably priced and run by a lovely chap.
All in all we had a nice relaxing holiday, no complaints.

The four of us stayed for two weeks starting 6/8/14. We also went with several other friends. We found the hotel a real mix, some good points and some real let downs which I will go into. Overall, having stayed in several other 4star all inclusive places worldwide, this had to be the least luxurious and the most expensive.

Good points- fantastic pool scene, some helpful efficient staff, clean modern rooms, lots of daytime activities, food mostly good, fantastic weather.

Bad points- breakfast was barely worth getting up for. No fresh coffee ( all machine, self service) no bacon nearly all food catered for the Germans and Dutch.

Restricted eating times at main buffet, if you miss the first 90 mins then the freshly cooked food has shut up. This is the food outside eg. Pancakes in the morning have usually finished by 0930. Lunch is served 12.30-2 pm so very tight slots. There is another outdoor eatery 12-4 but same food every day and little choice.

Some of the waiters were very unhelpful and even rude at times. Buffet was crazy busy at times, the waiters expect you to move out of their way even though you would be carrying the plates of food and the waiters nothing. Some of the staff were good however. Food was occasionally good but mostly average.

I met three people who had their AC break down in theirs rooms, leaking water every where. Seemingly a common problem. There must have been over 20 power cuts during our 14 night stay. 5 in one night.

The evening entertainment was good at times but all quite similar- dance acts from around Europe mostly break dancing and some back flips. One act (Russian circus) had majority of children as the entertainers who were very talented. I did not enjoy the show as they were nearly all under the age of 12, flinging a 3-4 year old girl in the air repeatedly. And the others taking unnecessary risks for our entertainment.

The music at the sultan bar was either poor or average, this is the main bar which closes at midnight. The lobby is the other bar which is 24/7 yet they turn the lights off in certain areas and you feel pushed out. Generally if you order more than 3 drinks, the barmen get a grump on, as we were in a group of 16 in total, this was very common. However the table service at sultan bar was much better.

The cocktails and beer were definitely watered down, you could barely taste the any alcohol.

Daytime entertainment round the pool and fitness classes were well run with fun staff. The pool with the slides were a big hit with the children. Also the indoor pool was a welcome break when the children had too much sun.

The beach was ok, lots of loungers available through out the day unlike the main pool. We also saw several turtles in the sea when standing out on the long pier.

Would I go back? No.

Spent two weeks in the hotel in August 2014
Arrived two in morning check in was easy
Room was good.A\C Mini bar with beer, though not all rooms have the beer option.
Had a room with "lake view" this is a view onto the pool for use only by the guests in the set of rooms local to this pool, also a resturant for breakfast and lunch only for same guests .
Facilities were good , which accounts for its high star rating but I dont go on holiday for a spa so I think its rating is high.
The food was average for the all inclusive compared to others I have used. The a al carte resturants were ok for something different but as for serving authentic food forget it.
The bar only served local spirits which was disappointing.
If you wish to have a late check out I would advise actually booking an extra night as they charge 10 euro per hour,4 hr or 8 hr available and we had been assured that we could have a late check out as we had a 8 hr wait from normal check out till flghts, but on the day were told NO.
This hotel caters mainly for eastern europeans and there were lots of kids, mind you this was the middle of the holidays.
Overall an average hotel.

Room Tip: Lake view room is good only two floors.

Dear guests,

thank you for your comment.

Local and some imported beverages are available free of charge.

Late check out is only possible if there is no or late arrival to the room that you are occupying. If new guest come early we can not let you stay in the room longer than till 12:00 because it has to be cleaned and prepared for the new arriving guests.

We arrived on 31 Jul for a 2 week holiday and after reading reviews on trip advisor were expecting something extraordinary and that's what we got! On arrival with a glass of champagne, a cold towel, access to food if wanted and all luggage taken to room so no carrying around heavy luggage, all welcome after travelling for 8 hrs total in the day. The rooms booked were standard, but there was nothing standard about the rooms at all. We had two rooms, 5215 and 5219, in D Block which had a lovely view of the gardens, non-smoking room with a mini bar stocked every day and due to its location (only 5 mins walk from all amenities) in the gardens, the rooms were cool in the evening even without air con. The staff were amazing particularly the bar men in the 24 hr lobby bar, both before but particularly after midnight, who were always topping up drinks without asking and even bringing over to us as a waiter service when not required to do so. There are a lot of sun beds available, but even with the 9 am ban on towels it was harder in the popular areas to get a prime lounger, but just sent the husband down earlier! The food is the best AI we have ever had, I am a fussy eater but had no issue with the food at all in the buffet area and still had plenty to eat, there was also a different theme every night which meant that food was not repetitive at all. We ate in all the A La Carte restaurants and really enjoyed them all, highly recommend that you book as soon as you get there though as they only have one sitting in an evening and are very popular! The staff are great and can speak English, not fluently but enough to understand what you need, didn't get involved with the animation team but they were seen everywhere and always on the go. Entertainment was better than expected, however, but still what I would expect from a holiday destination, particularly when they have a large audience with many different languages to please but please they did and I have seen far worse. I could go on and on, but honestly there were no negatives to be found at the hotel and would highly recommend this hotel to families and couples alike. I would also recommend taking euros though, we were told to take Lira but found that most shops, buses and taxis are priced in Euro. Thank you to all the staff and management at the hotel for making our holiday unforgettable, and we hope to visit again.

Room Tip: If you want a late check out room, book before you travel as they are in great demand due to the amo...

We are family of four (My Wife, my 2 Kids and me) and have been at the hotel one week (26.07.2014 to 02.08.2014).
Transfer from airport take little over an hour, but once in the hotel check-in goes fast and personnel makes you feel welcome immediately. A bit more of info about activities and how to book them would have been appreciated. We tried to upgrade for a Villa but all was fully booked.
We were in the building E, room 6035. 5 minutes awl from the main building / reception. Seven from the Buffet restaurant and 10 from Swimming pools and the beach.
Spacious room, confortable and clean, a room for me & my wife, another for the kids. You have to pay a fee for the safe which is not big deal. Minibar refiled everyday although we should remember them to leave some beers. :-)
Premises are great, the park full for threes, the swimming pools were clean, the slides were a lot of fun, and the beach have nice sand with warm water. We spend a lot of time near the kids / slides swimming pools. To "reserve" sun beds leaving towels on them is forbidden before 9 and often than not, if the personnel spot somebody doing it, they remove the towels.
We took a tour with a boat to see sea turtles and it was worth it.
The only thing we were not totally pleased was with the "mini club". The staff was not really trying to include our kid and integrate hm to ongoing activities. We do not expect that they speak Spanish, Norwegian or Swedish, but they do speak english and just did not use it.
The food was great . They have a different tema each day. Italian and Turkish were the best. Mexican and Chines were... well.. not specially good. But the quality and variety of everyday was good. During the day you can eat pizzas and have as many drinks, ice cream and pastries as you want. We did not manage the A la carte restaurante as we tried to book it too late. But we were eating each night outside the buffet area, watching the sea and the sunset. Great.
Te spa was quite good, although a bit pricey.
Everybody was nice, always smiling and trying to help. We highly recommend this Hotel and are thankful for a great holiday!

Room Tip: 6045. A bit far away from the noise of the main building, but yet near enough of all the facilitates...

Stayed from 31st July for 2 weeks before travel I emailed the hotel to arrange a birthday cake for my daughter as it was her birthday day after we were due to arrived hotel were very accommodating and helpful.
Arrived on thomson flight was bit stressed on arrival as one of our suitcases had gone missing thomson rep was very helpful and it arrived a day and half later. Arrival at the hotel was very professional had lovely glass of champagne whilst they briefed us on hotel facilities. We had booked 2 double standard rooms which were very nice in peaceful location overlooking the gardens fridge was stocked daily.Main buffet was lovely always good choice to a high standard and very nice during the day snack food bars were also very nice also enjoyed the fresh Turkish breads that were made to order.
Hotel grounds were lovely never been to a hotel with so many sunbeds hotel did remove towels before 9am it just meant that one party member would need to stay at the beds till 9 am, beach was lovely sea was amazing I could go on and on as there was nothing negative.
If you are considering booking hotel turquoise don't hesitate we had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend.
