“Fantastic Hotel”
Reviewed 9 July 2011

We have just returned from our holiday and had a fantastic time.
On arrival we checked in and our bags were carried up the stairs by a bellboy, who also showed us around our room.
The pools were stunning and we never had a problem getting a lounger.
The staff in the mini market were always smiling and ready to help in any way they could.
Service at the pool bar/restaurant was superb, especially Sedat the maitre d who always stopped for a chat.
The hotel has free Wi-Fi throughout which for us was a massive bonus.
The hotel was very good value, clean, friendly and the restaurant food was better than most of the food we ate in town. The hotel is a very good 3 star.
We stayed for 2 weeks and the only niggles we had were that the breakfast was the same everyday, the town was 20 mins to half an hour walk, the shower was not very powerful and the music was loud until 12 at night.
These were only minor things though and overall we had an amazing time.

We went on a 1 week self catering holiday to the Lemas Suites Apartments. Our group was made up of four girls aged 20-22. The staff were fantastic to us. We arrived at 4:00PM and Mr Fix-It welcomed us and were shown to our room straight away. The entertainment staff and waiters were great and gave us a great introduction to Turkey. We were welcomed every day with welcoming smiles. Our flight home wasn’t till 2:00 AM so we went to the beach for the day. Even though we’d had to check out of our room by 12:00PM Mr Fix-It gave us a room for half an hour to have a shower and get changed.
We stayed in an apartment on the top floor overlooking the main pool. Air conditioning was included in the price of the room which was a bonus in the strong heat. The rooms were spacious and cool, even when sleeping on the sofa beds. The apartment was very spacious and clean. Towels were changed every other day which is far more often than they would be changed at home. A fridge, kettle and cutlery were available.
The hotel is slightly out of the way from the town centre but is easily accessible by taxi. Taxis cost between 13 and 15 Lira each way so is cheap and they run well into the night. We went to the Lighthouse Club which was great fun! There is a minimart attached to the hotel which is very reasonably priced. The couple that work there are lovely and are very willing to help you. The hotel has two pools, both large with lots of sunbeds. Even at 11 in the morning we were still able to find sunbeds. This may be because we went slightly out of season. The Turkish night is definitely worth going to. The food is lovely and the dancers are fantastic. We got involved with the dancing and had so much fun.
Best bits: The waiters, entertainment staff, Mr Fix-It, free bus to the beach, Side itself is beautiful
Bad bits: Not withing walking distance of the beach

After reading several reviews i was a bit concerned about this Hotel but on arrival at 1.30am no problem our cases were taken up stairs to our room by a young man which is more than could be said for other hotels where we dropped people off .
Our room was very spacious with a lounge and two settees more like an apartment we were able to make tea/coffee etc., glad i took kettle, the view from our room was great overlooking the pool with a good size balcony enough room for table and chairs as we were in a corner room we could see across the road to the other pool which was also available to use.
The food at the Hotel was very good breakfast you had selection of the usual salad and fruit, cereal and always boiled eggs sometimes scrambled which was very tasty.Sometimes you had to wait a couple of minutes for glasses or plates, but hey were on holiday not in a rush but some people who were obviously very annoyed about this and not happy to wait, these are the sort of people that give bad reviewsnot necessary at all.
Sometimes we ate at the Hotel in the evenings and the menu was very good very well presented and very tasty.
There is a free bus service to the beach every day last one returning at 6pm.
The Hotel in general was clean and tidy all the staff very friendly nothing was too much trouble as stated it was a 3 star and hotel so dont expect 5 star, my only grumble (if you can call it that) the towels were only replaced every 3 days or so but we managed not worth a complaint at all.
The Hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the harbour, beaches and shops or longer if your just out for a stroll, plenty of restaurants and shops and quite lively in the evenings but in a pleasant way not at all rowdy, the sunsets are amazing.
Sad to say we brits are getting like other countries and put towels on the sunbeds to reserve them but if you don`t do this then you might find it difficult for a bed.
All in all we had a great holiday and met some lovely people.
If your wanting to go on any trips i would suggest you go to Side Hill Tours and ask for Mehmet such a lovely chap and his trips are half the price of the tour operators quite a saving, we did the 3 day trip to Cappadocia quite an experience and well worth it, his shop is up pass the hotel pass the roof top restaurant on to the main road turn left and its on the opposite side of the road.
Please do not be put off by people writing bad reviews this is a good place to stay
Enjoy.

For a young family I would highly recommend this hotel and location. I have visited Turkey before but it was the first holiday with my husband and 7 year old child. Hotel Lemas was perfect. Great location away from the busy town, short walk to the town but lots of shops and places to eat on the way or a taxi was about £5. The restaurant food was always really great and we ate there every day. Entertainment was great esp Turkish Night, lots of fun my little girl loved the dancing. Never too loud in the room if you didn't fancy staying downstairs to join in, always slept great. Room was cleaned every day and was private and fresh with A/C. All the staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble.Free bus to the local beach. My little girl loved the big and small pools, it was very clean and always lots of space, you can even have a massage pool side...what more do you need :). Get it booked you really wont regret it! Thanks to all the staff for a great holiday!! See you all again soon.

Room Tip: No lift, but the higher the better for the views!

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 10 nights in this hotel in mid june. We arrived at the airport in antalya to then be rushed into a mini bus and drove by two turkish men dat didnt look to friendly to our hotel. When we arrived there was no introduction so we ended up having to figure where stuff were and then when first going to reception we were greeted by a turk receptionist who seem to not understand english very well and was happy to finish of the rest of his fag while giving us our room keys. Then a bell boy carried our bags to our room and gave us literally a 10 second show around of the room then asking for a TIP before leaving the room.not a good first impression!
The room was ok for a 3 star hotel and the veiw from our balcony was nice above the pool overlooking the town and u could see the mountains in the distance.
We woke up very hungry to find that the breakfast offererd on buffet was a DISASTER, flying insects around bread, only white loaves no choice of brown ONE TOASTER so everyone one ques for ages. What looked like processed ham and meats and cheese, scrambled egg that was very bland. I and others constantly had to ask for a glass or cup to have juice from a fountain dat didnt look like it had been changed, loads of bits floating in my DRINK! And coffee that tasted disgusting, NO TEA or hot chocolate available. Ended up hungry every morning bevause of this and sometimes didnt even go down for breakfast because it was a Waste of time.
As we stayed after a few days we realised that we had to spend alot of money buying food from the hotel eatery. Food was ok presented nicely but Got boring. Not to mention asking for a lamb kebab then being Fobbed off with a beef one instead thinking i wouldnt taste the difference.A Very Greedy man sat by the bar watching everything you done and demanded money from you or harassed you to buy more food and drinks. (We like to call him fat tony).
Felt obliged to spend money within the hotel becuse everything was so far away. I Ended up having an argument with the famous MR FIX IT, due to his lack of patience of letting me finish of my sentence everytime i spoke. In the end he tried to make up for it by saying hello everytime he saw us.The only staff we got on with was the mini market shopkeepers they were lovely and seemed genuinely interested in us.
The beach was very quiet and not very clean. We ended up going on 1 expedition which was a manavgat boat tour which was nice but the Lunch was terrible and cold. Started counting down the days till my departure i couldnt wait to Leave LEMAS SUITE!!!! Wont be returning expensive overpriced food and rude staff!! Not a good impression as this is my first visit to turkey.

We booked thıs as a last mınute deal, and then upon seeıng some of the revıews were ın two mınds as to whether we had made a huge mıstake.

I can gladly say that we should not have worrıed, because the Lemas was a great base to explore Sıde, wıth frıendly staff that went out of theır way to make our stay as comfortable as possıble.

The hotel ıs basıc but clean, and caters more for the traveller who wants to go explore Sıde rather than stay ın theır hotel all the tıme. (If you want thıs I suggest you go fıve star, but you wıll be mıssıng what Sıde has to offer).

We stayed on B&B basıs, and the staff even allowed us to have breakfast early so that we could get to our booked excursıons.

For the prıce we paıd, thıs place ıs huge value and ı would recommend to any more mobıle travellers, who are wıllıng to walk a lıttle (5 mıns) to get to the maın straıght.

Thanks to 'Mr Fıx It'.
