Were English, and in our early 20's. We booked the day before we left to go on holiday. Our first day of the holiday was their last winter day, the beginning of the summer season, meaning things were only just opening properly.
The hotel staff are lovely and friendly and do their best to speak every language they can to communicate with everyone.
There are many Germans and Russians but a few groups of English people.
Everything is in euros, don't bother to bring Turkish lira. As they have to calculate the prices.
The walk to the hotels private beach is about 3 minutes away. And if you follow the sea front to the left you get to a row of shops, the genuine fake shops. Where the shop keepers are friendly.
There is a place to book day trips, like boats, quads and rapids.
Once you leave the hotel it doesn't seem
As remote as at first.
The hotel has bars on site and it's own few shops.
The food is Turkish, with it being turkey. We had a BBQ every night.
The hotel have an entertainment team. Who are around the hotel during the day, put on a kids show then an adults and also take people I to town to go to clubs.
The guest relations woman is one of the kindest we've ever met, she can't do enough to help, and is always polite and has a warm personality.
The hotel was clean and tidy and towels are provided by the hotel for the pool and beach.
Over all a very good holiday!!

We arrived at 3am 19th April. Check in was simple and quick. They said there was food for us but we where to tired to eat. Our room was clean and well decorated. We had a big double bed and a spare bed that was odd. Room over looked the pool. As it was out of season nothing was open like someone said. On our last day the second pool opened and the slides come on twice a day for a hour. Every night the animation team do something and during the day they get you involved in activities. The hotel guests are mainly from Germany or Russia. Side hasn't yet become popular for Brits. They use euro and everything is much more expensive than marmarris. The hotel is located surrounded by trees and a 5min walk to a lovely beach with its own sun beds and bar with snacks. There's only a handfuls of shops and two cafés. Side town is only 5min bus ride that has loads of shops nice places to eat. And ruins that are free to look at. I'd suggest you try water rafting a great family day out for €15 pp in during lunch. We also done about trip for €15 including lunch. Always book trips with the local exursion places. I know Thomson where charging €40 for the water rafting making a profit. The hotel seemed to have a lot of one night stayers so reception was always busy. The food was yummy. I'm English but understand that turkey is a Muslim country so no bacon. Deal with it. They have Chips rice pasta so if your fussy and don't like eating casseroles and other Turkish dishes. They have a grill buffet to witch is lovely. Freshly cooked chicken fish veg etc. the alcohol is nice. I drank beer mostly. If your looking for a relaxing holiday than this hotel is perfect. Also we only paid £250 pp for the whole holiday. Hotel works put to be something silly like £109 each for the whole week. Getting 3 meals and drinks and snacks each day. Your looking at under £20 a day. Bargain

You can't fault the hotel on ots cleanliness, if was spot on, out room was gorgeous we upgraded to a superior room & loved it.

The majority of the staff where very friendly, there was one or two that where very rude at times & didn't seem to want to smile or make an effort, we arrived on 10th April & nothing was open, 2nd pool, disco, garden bar, Irish bar or al a carte restaurant, which was a shame as we had to sit in the lobby every night & feel like we where inconveniencing some of the staff at times & god help you if you asked for a bottle of water in an all inclusive package! You either had to pay for it or wait for the nice bar man to be on to get any! The bar was packed up on the count of 23.30 & some nights they tried to close early which we complained about.

Regards the food it was ok, not to my personal liking but it was edible.

I think the hotel would be great if everything was open & you could choose to drink in one of the other bars but we didn't let it spoil our holiday to much.

They want to try & encourage more English then I think they need to try a lot harder.

But all in all we had a great time & made the most of the sun

We had a very nice holiday in this hotel on August 2013.
It is a modern one, the rooms are large and clean, the pools are also large with a lots of sun beds
The entertainment team is very busy to make your staying nice ...and they succeed
There are two pools: an entertainment one and a relax one.
You can speak any language …except Japan…..because surely were be a person to understand you.
It was a nice holiday with my daughter (student) , we ha a lovely time…and we hope will repeat the experience next summer.
A tip: If you are grumpy….don’t go , you will spoil the atmosphere

Huge and full of Russians who greatly outnumbered the Germans. Ideal for small .German or Russian children, sadly not likely to be many parents who would be interested reading this.A good comfortable overnight stop on a coach tour and had we been there longer clearly very near the sandy beach which we did not visit. For an overnight stop worth a visit ...if a keen price is given!

Room Tip: Go high and do not under-estimate the ability of mosquitos to climb to the 4th floor.

Prior to booking we reviewed the previous (mainly Russian) reviews of this hotel. We were skeptical of stopping somewhere where the majority of the guests would not be English - don`t let this put you off. All of the Russian, German & Turkish guests were really nice and were surprised to find out we were English!

The hotel itself is a new build with plush rooms, nice gardens & plenty of on-site bars to drink at. The star rating awarded to the hotel is correct, however with only minor adjustments along with a little bit of work on the beach bar we are sure the 4 stars could change to 5. For the price, this hotel is excellent.

All of the staff were helpful and friendly and most spoke an acceptable level of English. Our stay was enhanced by the 2 bar men (Muhammet & Evrinm - sorry for spelling) who made every effort to ensure we were enjoying our stay, they were also great bar staff with a few tricks to show regarding spinning bottles etc, etc. The animation team are also fantastic, they had loads to offer in both pure entertainment and activities.

The only thing we felt could of been better was the all inclusive option. The buffet was okay with very little change to the menu. The added bbq was a nice touch though! The plastic cup/beaker situation, i feel grown men and women should be drinking out of glasses whether that be around the pool or at the snack bars - you can't beat a nice chilled glass to drink from.

All in all, especially for the price, we can't grumble too much it was a lovely hotel with some good attentive staff. Thanks Maya World for a great holiday!
