I stayed here last week. I agree that it is catered for Germans but I have to say they were totally welcoming to an english lady on holiday solo. The guests made me very welcome and even though there was the language barrier this didn;t matter one iota. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

I agree with all the reviews on here, its all right if you are a German, no one spoke english except Mr Bean and he wasent all that good, also ALL, THATS ALL of the area is geared up for the Germans, all the shop signs etc, also no turks wanted their own currency?? only Euros or Dollars the bumf says the hotel beach is 300 metres away not quite its further than that, cant fault the food or the staff, their all inclusive concept is not the same as all other hotels ie very few drinks are included.Thats it folks would I go back No would I go to the Side area NO.One last thing dont use the turkish bath/massage in the hotel. the 2 hour one is 50 euros, up the road 500metres its 18euros ??? your choice.A

Some positive facts about the hotel:
-Friendly help at the front desk.
-Nice turkish spa section in the hotel.
-Air condition was included.
-The pool area was nice.

Some negative facts about the hotel:
-Not really all inclusive hotel. They charge for all alcoholic drinks (except raki and gin & tonic), ice-cream, orange-juice, food and drink at the beach.
-Very flirty and clinging male staff.
-Same kind of food, mainly turkish.
-Stay away from the beach-dinner, arranged by the hotell! The service was awfully slow, the food was not at all nice, stale bread etc.
-Big gap between lunch and dinner. Lunch at 12.30 and dinner at 19.30. The only "food" between is some cakes at 15.30. So you will go hungry in the afternoon.
-Almost all of the other guests were German and because of that most of the staff only spoke German.
-The wifi is slow, very slow, and only works in the bar and the pool area.
-Beach/pool towel wasn't included and costed 1 euro per day.

You should also note that the hotel is located in a part of Side where there's nothing to do outside of the hotel. There's only a few other hotels and some shops, that sells fake stuff.

Nice and clean room and hotel, but not perfect. If you have trouble sleeping when it is a bit to bright, bring an eye mask. It was difficult to keep the heat from the room without using the air conditioning, which was located above the bed??
Staff is very friendly and service minded. Most of the staff are very good in German, their English not always that good.
The Hamam is very nice and free to use.
The beach is a 5-10 minutes walk away and not too crowded. The beach restaurant is very nice with tasty snacks (like Turkish pizza) and the staff there is great in all ways. WIFI at the beach.
The food was good but obviously you get tired of it, but a taxi to Side solve that thing.
I based the review on the price 750 Euro for 11 nights (you get what you pay for).

THE GOOD: very clean rooms and an adequate size, good service, attentive and friendly staff, nice pool and pool area, nice restaurant, nice beach, good watersports activities, beachside snack bar, we also loved their Turkish bread.

THE OKAY: food - not much vegetarian choice, but always managed to find something to eat, walk to the beach was approx 5-10mins okay for us young people maybe a bit far in the weather for older people

THE BAD: Too many Germans, who are very rude and stare a lot! Many of the other guests (predominately Germans) were very unfriendly and this is a disadvantage of this otherwise lovely hotel. I do however, get the feeling that many of the other hotels in the Side would be the same so don't let it put you off La Vitas. There are not enough umbrellas on the beach for all of the hotel guests, sunbeds are too close together at the beach.
Girls be careful of Abdul (waiter in the hotel restaurant) he is pervy.

OVERALL: Although there were way too many unfriendly Germans! I would consider staying here again as the hotel was nice and clean and the staff were friendly,

Room Tip: Room 202 was nice

Yes as some others have commented the hotel is aimed more at the German tourist rather than the British. However we didn't find this a problem despite being the only English people staying at the hotel. The German people we met at the hotel were fantastic, and made us feel welcome when we met in the bar at night, often translating thier conversations into English so that we didnt feel excluded, in fact i can not speak highly enough of the German people we met, and it certainly changed my steroetypical view of them. The staff were extremely welcoming and always tried to help, the language barrier could sometimes take some overcoming, but their English was certainly better than my Turkish or German, thank god for Google Translate app on my iphone, it came in very useful. The rooms were very clean and the towels changed every day. The food was excellent, varied and tasty if sometimes a little on the cool side. The hotel is a 5 min 1 euro ride on the dolmus to Side, which has a very nice harbour and several good restaurants. The whole resort is very much aimed at the German tourist as they make up the majority of travellers to this area. If you want a full English breakfast and chips with everything then this isn't the hotel for you, however if you like to meet and engage with different people and cultures you will enjoy your stay.
