On the recommendation of some local business owners, we lunched at Avlu while spending the day in Kusadasi. Both myself and my daughter are vegetarian so we asked the waiter for something that contained no meat. He brought us a platter of mixed dips and sauces served with a wonderful "puffy" pita bread and a salad of fresh cucumbers and tomatoes; it was perfect. At the end of the meal, the waiter brought Turkish coffee and Turkish delight - on the house. A very nice way to end a wonderful meal.
The atmosphere was simple and the restaurant was very clean. I would definitely return if we were to visit Kusadasi again.
