Castle Travel Day Tours is just amazing. They are punctual and detailed but I want to personally thank our guide Bugra Can. This gentleman, who looks like a young Christopher Walken, was spectacular. He never stopped answering questions, was infinitely informative, personable, and desired only that we were comfortable and having the time of our lives.
We enjoyed Heiropolis in the shade, walked the Silk Road, and consumed plenty of free time between the calcite pools and Cleopatra Pool. The place is super hot in the summer so take tons of sunscreen, a towel, swimsuit, flip flops and sunglasses because the white is blinding everywhere!
Bugra went out of his way to personally escort me up to the Roman theatre, giving me a deep description of the region and lots of time for photographs. It thrills him to hear pleased tourists and he told me, "It is our pleasure to give you the best tour possible and that is why we love our job." I promise you, if you are on a tour with Castle Travel Day Tours and Bugra Can is on the clock, you will be writing this review next.

During our holiday in Turkey we booked two day tours, through our hotel, with Castle Travel Day Tours. First day was to Ephesus, this trip was exceptional; our guide, Feyzullah, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Ephesus was fascinating and should not be missed. Next day we went to Pamukkale; our guide was Giljan, who, again was knowledgeable. The tours were well strucured and organised. Highlight, in addition to the sights themselves, was the authentic Turkish restaurant Feyzullah took us to.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day tour of Ephesus and surroundings July 2014. Our tour guide Feyzullah (of Castle Travel) had a large part in the success of the day. He was very good with the group, with a great sense of humor and a deep knowledge of the Greco Roman world, as well as the history of Turkey. (I asked him how he trained for the job and he said that he is a university history graduate who has been doing this job for 14 years). We were picked up at our hotel in Kusadasi, and included with the price were all transport, entrance fees and a very good lunch buffet. If you take the tour, remember sunblock, a sunhat and at least 2 bottles of water per person. You can buy these items from vendors at the gate. It is very hot in the summer. Food and bathroom facilities are only available at the the gate, before you enter the ancient city.

We went to Pamukkale with this agency that we found online, they told us that there was 2 options to join the tour, one would be as a group tour and other was privately. The difference been that group tours ıncludes visiting some shopping centers in between and privately cuts them out and also the day schedule is arranged to your needs, so privately suited us better. When we got Pamukkale we got to see the terraces which really is breath taking, we also got to see the nearby ancient city. Our lunch stop was at a resturant not far from Pamukkale so as sit and eat you can gaze upon the snowy looking mountain, we found the food at lunch to be delicious traditional turkish food and plenty of it to. Pamukkale is a bit of a drive from Kusadasi but the bus we travelled in was very comfortable and most importantly had working air con, and the guide kept us entertained. Thumbs up for this tour!

Me and my family had booked a cruise and we learnt that it was stopping into the resort of Kusadasi, so we did some research of what there is to do there and where to see and as we browsed the internet we came across a travel agency 'Castle Travel' which had the Ephesus tour which we wanted to do, we contacted Castle Travel and asked them about the day and whats included, we were really impressed that we had an option of booking a group tour or a private tour and so we booked to go with them privately which meant we got to plan our day and times as we wanted. Our day was fantastic and our guide was so knowledgable....we would definately recommend Castle Travel to our friends and family...as garanteed NOT to be dissapointed!!
