“4th visit this year!”
Reviewed 22 March 2013

September will be my 4th Visit to the Korumar with my friend. We always have a brill time, the staff, the food, the views are all excellent. Kusadasi a nice leisurely walk and good shopping centre. We always stay all inclusive at the Korumar, the rooms are spacious, clean and mini bar free if your inclusive. So all in all a very friendly, clean and beautiful hotel to stay.

Room Tip: We always have a room overlooking the Kusadasi road, when you have been at the pool all day, it just...

We stayed for 2 nights here. The service was excellent and the view is beautiful. The rooms are clean and the food was good. There was an excellent selection at breakfast and dinner. It is about 2 km from town. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

We were in Kusadasi with a Gate One tour group and stayed at the Korumar for two nights. The tour had been traveling at a hurried pace and this stay was a welcome break. The hotel was on the sea. The room was spacious and comfortable; the food was fine. If you are staying here and have a chance, walk down to the nearby town. It's an enjoyable walk.

Room Tip: You might ask for a room with an sea view, but if you are traveling with a tour group, you may not h...

We stayed at this hotel as a tour group in off season. All guests got ocean view rooms with balcony. Very roomy ,clean, nice breakfast and dinner buffets with lots of selections.
Hotel is about 2 km from downtown, local bus goes by the hotel every 20 min. Cheap ride.
With indoor pool, Turkish bath, outdoor pool & a nice beach. Sure it beat downtown hotels.
Front desk arranged a taxi for 6 of us to Prienne - 5 hours, 60 € .
Ephesus, House of Virgin Mary & St George Church are close by for 80 € . 8 hours.
Taxi dropped us off downtown after the tour for shopping.
Less than half hour walk back to hotel along the beautiful water front.
Cruise ship terminal is just 10 min. walk from downtown.

We stayed 2 nights. The rooms are clean and ample. We stayed in february which is in low season. The hotel was almost empty and with few personel.
It seems that during summer months the have pool, tennis courts and many ammenities which were not available for us.
Very bad restaurant. The food was like school cafeteria which is not bad but very plain and served for massive goups. The only nice thing is the view if you have a room facing the ocean.

I and my family were there in June/July 2012 and it was a great choice, indeed! The rooms are well furnished and very confortable, the bathroom cleaned, the cleaning ladies were changing the bed linen almost every day which was hardly necessary as the micro climate at the Aegean cost is so much different from that of the Riviera - you don't sweat that much!

The choice of food was fantastic in my opinion, no matter whether you're a meat lover or vegetarian.

The hotel beach is very tiny but it didn't matter that much to me as I hardly sunbathe. Anyway there are special wooden piers where you can sunbathe and enter the sea safely. Be careful 'cos the difference between the air and water temperatures is around 15-20 degrees C, so it's essential that you enter the water slowly allowing your body the chance to adjust itself to the lower water temperature!

The Aegean sea is a poetry on blue and green colours - any shade of both colours that you can imagine is there. And it was a pleasure to be swimming there at both hotel's bays.

The staff is beyond any possible praise. Very attentive, helpful and bowing down before any customer. They were doing everything they could to make our stay pleasant and problem-free. One day when the wind blowing from the sea was strong enough to disrupt my stay at the pool, the head of the pool team apologized me for the wind !!! This will tell you something about the level of hospitality that you can only experience in Turkey. :-)

You shouldn't miss the dicotheque, which is located over the bay and through its windows you can admire stunning vistas of Kusadasi at night! The DJs were great and contrary to what is the practice at many hotels in Turkey - they play my beloved Turkish music!!! Any request I might have had was fulfilled with pleasure. The animation team was great!

Another place I used to go to every day was a large terrace of the hotel bar - not only to have a glass of perfect Turkish tea or a cup of equally perfect Turkish coffee after dinner but also to admire the sunsets over the Aegean on one hand and the night vistas of Kusadasi in the evening and at night. They are forever written in my heart.

Also worth seeing is the town of Kusadasi itself (which provides great opportunities for shopoholics) and some neighbouring places, like Ephesus, Milet, Didim or Perge.

I really had tears in my eyes when we were departing from Korumar - these were the best two-week holidays I've ever had!

Room Tip: Defo choose the rooms with the sea view at the higher floors unlesss you're fond of the sound of...

This is a very lovely hotel with rooms facing the sea. Very close to the port to take the boat to Patmos. One thing if you are going to take the early boat to Patmos, the hotel will be kind enough to pack you breakfast but the unfortunate thing is they don't pack you drink with your breakfast. So be prepared to buy your own drink. Otherwise, the buffet hotel breakfast is great with a wide selection. It is a lovely hotel to stay in.
