It was a good location.Little beach. When we arrived,we recived a dirty room.We waited 2 hours to clean our room. The food wasn't special but was good. You need a big reception because we waited a lot of time until check-in.

We just got back from 2 weeks, all inclusive, at Hotel Imbat and we have a few things to say about it.

First, the good points:
The food is very good. Yes, you do get a lot of chicken and the salad bar is the same at every meal, but they do have different soups and main courses at every sitting and in the evenings you can have fresh grilled meat or fish straight from the griddle. There was always a variety of vegetables and chips, wedges or roast potatoes. The desserts are really good, and very, very syrupy sweet, but personally I thought more fresh fruit would have been good. At lunchtime you could always go to the pool café/bar and get burger and chips!

The drinks were all OK too, coffee, black tea and juices (more like undiluted squash) and bottled water available from self service machines, the bars served soft drinks and alcohol, Efes beer on draft is a good drink and the white wine was OK with dinner, the local vodka was very drinkable with coke or fanta! We got a new large bottle of water in our fridge every day too.
The staff were nearly all friendly and helpful. Metin, one of the restaurant waiters was very efficient and looked after us very well.

The hotel was pleasant and in a wonderful spot, it has a good pool, lovely grounds and two sets of steps down to a private beach with another bar. There were lots of little repairs being done during our stay so it looked like they were trying to improve things generally. Reception staff were mostly helpful although a little stressed when busy.

Now the bad points:
The first room we were put in (No. 4218) was dreadful. We had asked for a high floor with pool/sea view and this was on the first floor at the back (street side) of the hotel. The curtains were filthy and even had what looked like blood stains on them! The bedside lamp shade was hanging off it’s rusty frame, the TV was useless and the bathroom was grotty. We asked to move the next day and, fair to say they did move us in the late afternoon to room 4410, 4th floor, overlooking both the pool and sea and which had been refurbished and was lovely in comparison.

Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss; we had to request towels a few times and on one occasion I helped myself to some off a shelf in an open cupboard when we hadn’t got any towels by 7pm! The quilts did not have covers so I hope they wash the whole thing after each guest! We did not get sheets that fitted the two single beds which were pushed together in our room, my husband got a big sheet and I got a white cotton quilt cover laid over the mattress to lie on, which of course, did not fit! Maybe they had run out of sheets??? Our chambermaid did not do a very good job – she did not wipe down the dressing table or coffee table – rings from drinks stayed there for the duration! The toilet brush was disgusting. For the first time in all our travels we did not leave the maid a tip.

There was entertainment in the hotel, but unless you were in the restaurant at 7.30 or on the terrace bar when it was about to start (around 9.30pm) when the entertainment team ran around shouting it out, you could easily not know anything about it! There was a lovely Turkish gala night in the restaurant with a singer/guitarist, and a belly dancer and on another evening there was a group on the terrace. On Thursday evening we saw fireworks, and when we looked for their origin discovered there was a beach party going on complete with fire breathers! I believe there were shows most evenings in the disco on the 4th floor of the main building, which you could hear on the terrace, but we weren’t too bothered about missing them as we prefer to sit and chat over a drink! It would be helpful if they just put a sign up or a notice board announcing the evening entertainment so people could decide if they wanted to join in or not!

Do not use the ladies toilets down the stairs next to the lifts in the main bar – there is obviously a problem with the drains down there and they are disgusting!

The ‘A La Carte’ restaurant is actually included but we had to book in advance and select our main course when booking. It was supposed to be an Italian meal and the menu looked good so we were really looking forward to a change from the main restaurant. We were given a cocktail on arrival and white wine to follow. Everyone was booked in for 7.45pm and the waiters brought out plates of food. This food was not on the menu – some kind of meat like spam in mayonnaise and a small portion some chicken on lettuce leaves, pleasant enough but puzzling but we were hungry so we ate it. The hor’s d’euvres on the menu said Bruschetta with marinated fish, olives and red onions. The toppings arrived, but no bread. We waited and waited then I asked about the bruschetta and eventually they brought out some chunks of white bread. This took ages as everyone was given the same at the same time. After that we were going to request different pasta dishes as our first course, but we were not asked what we wanted. The waiters then brought out plates of what looked like spaghetti with a creamy sauce and more spam, which neither of us wanted, so I asked the waiter if we could have the arrabiata off the menu. The waiter then told us that the menu was ‘just for show’, there was not a menu – you had what they brought! By this time it was about 9pm and we were really hungry so we just left and went to a restaurant on Ladies Beach down the road. We were not impressed!

All in all we had a great holiday. The weather was fantastic, we lay in the sun, swam off the private beach or in the pool, we ate well, drank plenty and really relaxed. This hotel is actively improving and we got the impression that the management are trying hard to get it right. Don’t be put off – for a cheap and cheerful holiday it is fine, just try to relax about the little annoying things you may come across!

Room Tip: The music from the pool is very loud at 3 - 4 pm so if you like an afternoon nap, ask for a room awa...

Hotel with good location and average rooms. The restraunt is quite good, but the variaty is quite poor, fruits sometimes aren't fresh. Cleaning in the room is very bad, some times they even didn't wash the floor. Service personnel is very freandly but don't understand english usually. The see shore is mostly not usable because it's dirty, the only variant that is usable is panton and there are a lot of people on it. The animation in the evening is quite funny. Was here a week and i think wouldn't return here.

This hotel as another all inclusive knows how to please customers and travelers. I cannot really understand why some visitors write such comments. The hotel is really nice, the service also gorgeous and the kitchen superb and I wish I could post some nice videos here...but it is not this that make this hotel really nice: It is the total overall service and care of all people working inside. The management knows very well how to create atmosphere since long decades and I've seen this with my own eyes. Highly recommended to everybody wishing to visit Kusadasi and spent some nice chillout moments to this hotel.

The location of this hotel is amazing! You are able to walk out of your hotel and catch a bus straight into town within 10 minutes (prices are dirt cheap!), as well as having shops right outside the hotel. Ladies beach is situated right behind the building and access is very easy. The view from our room was breath taking. The food is average and can be a little repetitive. There is a wide choice, but being a fussy eater can be a little trouble. I recommend to get breakfast early! The room is very clean and spacious, although our fridge did not work. This however did not bother us as we didn't need to use it. Staff are reasonably friendly. I enjoyed staying in this hotel. This was the first time me and my partner had ever been abroad and it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Get a non smoking room and ask for a sea view. Also having a room nearer to reception is better for...

Just returned from a 10 day holiday at the hotel Imbat. Was a bit worried about the reviews. But was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful location. You have the choice of Large busy ladies beach for the kids or the Captains bar by the hotel which was lovely and peaceful. No sand just a ladder into the sea but lovely. And smaller beach with pontoon out into the sea, NEED TO GO DOWN EARLY TO GET A BED THERE
Room : Seaview recommended. Large and airy. was cleaned everyday when we put tag on the door. bed fairly hard but I found them very comfortable,
Not much in the way of entertainment but the hotel does tell you that.
Food not catering for English so I did struggle a bit. not much in the way of meat.lots of casseroles in all different ways. sweets not nice mostly syrup and sugar, I lived on melon. Bread selection lovely, lots of salad. Breakfast. selection of cereals, scrambled egg, omelettes, have to que for those.Bolied eggs .cheeses and hams, bread toast. so you wont go hungry.
Snack bar was a nightmare. didn't bother. Afternoon tea the same didn't bother.
No ice cream at all anywhere.
But apart from the food we had a lovely time, jeep safari great fun, we are in our 50,s and really enjoyed it, I wouldn't suggest much older though, you do get thrown about a bit.
Hired a car for 2 days. 43euros , really good idea get to see the real turkey.
if you go to market knock down at least 3/4 of price asked .
Take English money out there you get a better rate. You must have 2 crisp ten pound notes to get into turkey at the airport.
Loved turkey, hotel fine for the money. id would return if I couldn't afford a 5 star next year!!
Hope this helps.

Room Tip: seaview over private beach, nice and quiet.
