I'm not sure if this is the right beach. The one we found was off the road that goes from Selcuk to Kudsadasi called Dr. Sabri Yayla Blv on Google Maps. If this is not the same, please message me. Anyway from Selcuk, drive towards Kudsadasi and when the road veers left/south and you see the shoreline straight ahead, take the local road. At the end there's a small parking lot. The beach is quite long, with soft light brown sand. There are lounge chairs with umbrellas for rent or if you get there in late afternoon, you have your pick for free. There's two little restaurants. If you need to use the toilet and are not a customer there a port-o-potties. The view is great, the area is undeveloped, the beach slopes into the water and gradually gets deeper...it's perfection!

The beach at Silver Sands is one of the best in the area (after those in the National Park). It is a long stretch of sandy beach and the water here is shallow for at least 40m to 50m so is much more suited to children. The beach is also quieter than those nearer to Kusadasi, which means that it is more peaceful and is a beautiful place to watch the sunset over Samos.

You can either bring your own beds/chairs/umbrellas and use the public sections of the beach of you can use one of the sections owned by the restaurants (there are 4 or 5 different restaurants each with their own section of beach and sun beds). Some of the restaurants charge a smallish fee for the use of the sunbed, but you will usually find that if you are buying food and drink throughout the day from them, they will not charge extra on top for the sunbeds. You may want to check first what their position is.

There are also sellers walking backwards and forwards all day along the waters edge selling traditional turkish food such as sweetcorn, muscles, bread etc

The water in August is as warm as a bath. You often get a breeze on the beach which is refreshing when the air temp is in the high 30s. However the more breezy it is the bigger the waves on the beach!

This is definately one of my favourite places to go to when on holiday.
