“Nice Hotel”
Reviewed 5 May 2009

I was in Kusadasi at the Ephesia Hotel in July 2007 with my boyfriend. Ephesia is a very nice hotel with 4 stars, toggled at 7 Km away from the center of Kusadasi. Rooms are very clean and the personal are very graceful. There was a lot of good and fresh food. The beach is with sands and is in front of the hotel. The pool was ok and had segment for kids.
Were our first vacation in another country and we were very pleased.

Was a lovely hotel and the room was lovely with full sea veiw, only thing was no chose of drinks they were very limited, you were ok if you drank House vodka or rum & Larger, food was nice but same thing everyday no fish really just the 1 day :-( , beach fab, people very friendly, we were on our honeymoon, it was hot and a lovely place, would defo go back but maybe a diffrent hotel, we did go the last week of the season so maybe it was because of that as every were was closing for the season, but defo a lovely hotel, just drinks and food chose was disapointing and we were on a all inclusive holiday. loads to do for the kids, very clean, bars dotted around complex with snacks that were freshly cooked in front of you and were very nice, tea & Biscuites & cakes in the afternoon.
entertainment was very good and the games in the garden in the mornings and afternoons were very funny we had a proper laugh with the staff.

As I said - Don't go there -. We had 6 days in this hotel and on the fourth day I got very bad food poisoning. The hotel staff at reception couldn't give a damn, just said we could pay their doctor. We ended up going to the private hospital in Kusadasi and after tests they confirmed it was the beefburger I had eaten at the hotel. Also we would not go again because it was the noisiest place we have ever stayed. You could hear every step up and down the stairs echoing through the hallway and rooms - of course children like to play up and down stairs! The location is lovely but we definately would not recommend this hotel at all. I had to take 12 pills a day and was in bed until our departure. Not a good experience and one I wouldn't like others to go through. It is the first time in over 20 years of travelling in Turkey that food poisoning has happened. Just be warned!

Never ever again I will go to this hotel !!! I went there with my children . on the 2nd day of our stay our camera was stolen right in restaurant, we just left it on tabel and went to get a tea it took just 2 minutes and the camera just disappeared !! and reception personnel was not polite and very rude. the food is almost the same every day, those who were there know that the plates don't get washed well - all sticky and oily, I had to wash the plates myself during all my stay there because the hotel and restaurant Managemenet didn't react to my complainig. There are 4 water pools and Only 1 is clean more or less.the toilets and the bar side were not clean. that was the most terrible holiday I have ever had. !!!! As my camera was stolen I could take pictures of this horor. the only one I have I take with my telefhone. I show it here. That was a paprica absolutely durty and not washed. When I showen it to restaurant and hotel personnel all they have answered was : "We didn't put it into your plate, you should not take it if it is durty" !!!

i will start by saying anyone who complains about this hotel must be very fussy, as we have had lots of holidays and never go back to same place apart from this one. this is great for couples who like to chill in the day and either chill at night or go for good night out. , but is also great for families too. the music at night starts around 10pm but is finshed by 12ish and the next door hotel is not as noisy as people make out. we like to go to bed some nights at 11ish and we have not been kept awake. we came to this hotel in oct 07, just the two of us in our late thirties and we like a good time now and then but mostly relax. kusadasi town is 10 mins away on a bus outside hotel, you dont have to wait more than couple of mins, the buses are constant and only cost £1. you can get last bus back at midnight but lots of restaurants in town offer courtesy transport back. if not a taxi is only a few pounds.this hotel is fab, it is extremely clean and every where is immaculate including your rooms. the food is great, lots of choice from salads to pizzas, burgers, stuffed pittas, and nice chicken - veg dinners. lots of choice and puddings cakes and fruit is lovely. we came back june 08 because we liked it so much. the staff are so friendly and polite and the animation/entertainment make you feel right at home. we have never stayed anywhere like here where everyone makes you feel so welcome. the staff remembered us from our last visit which meant the world to us, we plan to go back this october. we came this june and brought our children and couple of friends. kids were three girls 13 14 and 18 and 3 boys all 18. they absolutely loved this place and did not want to go home. the animation team spend so much time with you if you want it and the days are filled with fun and laughter and they bring everyone together. the older kids went on couple of nights out with animation team to disco from 12 til 2.30 which was all free apart from there drinks, all ages went and had fab time. regarding the drinks, what do you expect on all inclusive, beer wine, vodka, gin, rum and lots of fruit juices and mineral water inclusive. if you want baileys or special drinks then buy at duty free as very expensive in kusadasi as they are imported and they pay more than we do. but drinks we had were enough for us.we paid £350 each all inclusive for a week and £450 all inclusive for two weeks, that works out about £15 head for hotel for all food drinks beds etc, flight obviously extra. what does one want for that price, without a doubt this hotel is fabulous for what you get. the rooms are lovely and clean and regarding air con and remote being on wall, just unscrew cover and use remote as you want. rooms are cleaned on daily basis and maids make pretty patterns with your bedding and look after you. if you lookin for good food in kusadasi then try planet yucca restaurant, saray restaurant and green gardens. all great food. planet yucca best and has live entertainment on and takes you home at end of night. you will not be dissapointed in your stay here unless you extremely fussy and used to places like dubai etc. gym room is good and definately usable and turkish bath and massage is wonderful, if you chat you will get a good deal, we got 2 2 hour turkish bath haman with face mask and full body massage, 2 40 min reflex massage - legs and feet, 6 back therapy massage and 4 medical massage (1 hour full body massage) and one facial all for £200.! we got £100 off. and the spa staff are lovely too. i could go on and on, but you need to try for yourself. we book this holiday on internet but not as package, if you want web sites let us know! hotel ephesia is a great place to stay, lovely gardens to sunbathe aswell as round pool and straight out onto lovely beach.

I would just like to say how wonderfull this hotel is. the food, staff, rooms, pool everything was just fab. deffinetly suited for children too. the only complaint was that there was not much adult entertainment in the evening and that the noise from the other hotel was very loud untill 12pm which made it difficult to have an early night(if you dont have a sea front room its not even a problem). However the english channels on the Tv keept me entertained!!!! The beach was lovely and the food was constant. brilliant salads and puddings and if you prefered english food their where pizzas, chips and burgers availiable in the snack bar from 12.00 to 5.00pm!!!!!! the receptionists where extremlly helpfull and the little shops within the hotel sold everything from sun cream to pringles!! It was also possible to have proffesional photos taken at a very good rate. and they are of good quality!!!!! I would deffinetly go back their as ive found in the past it is hard to find a good quality all inclusive hotel. they even have reall coca cola their which was not waterd down!!! Taxi service to the town itself was also cheap (cost aroun 2 quid per pearson) and easy to use if you fancied a night out in the town!!! so suted for everyone!!!! the view from the room was amaizing at night and even witnessed a fire work display and a turkish wedding which was great to watch.

me and my boyfriend stayed here in sept and it is a really lovely hotel.
*the staff are lovely
*the pool good size and always clean
*beach is beautiful quite narrow but really long hence the name 'long beach'
*the food unfortunately was not so great for us personally it does not really cater for the tastes of irish/english. but we found that the food in general in turkey was quite poor.
*the location of the hotel is beautiful, however it is quite far out from the center of kusadasi.
*we are in our early 20's there is not much in the hotel as far as evening entertainment goes. so we made our way into barstreet each evening-costs can add up on taxis however there is a little bus which is about 2euro but its just hit or miss if it comes by at the time your leaving or not.
*we were the only irish in the hotel...possibly because it was september
*drinks=wine, beer, vodka, coffee, lemonades any othing else you pay for and no bottled beer or alco pops are even available if u were going to pay 4 them
