“First and last time”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014

We went for 10 nights and if it wasn't for the swimming pool and the room we have come home. The food is terrible and we saw management take bread from other peoples tables once finished with it and put it back in the bread basket for other people to eat. We all had up set tummies for 5 days say no more. Entertainment was very poor and repetitive after 3 Nights of karaoke and 3 nights of bingo we did no bother to go down any more . We paid for wifi that didn't work and the ice creams was not all in. My little boy is 4 and the day and evening entertainment consists of 10 to 15 minuets off darts in the morning followed by face painting (could only do a pirate ) then sand pictures which you had to pay for. The evening children's entertainment was a 20 Minuit disco and that's it :( . the snack bar had the same food every day and they seem pick and choose what you could
have . Would not recommend this hotel to anybody and we was very very disappointed

All inclusive I don't think so. Four star...... 3 or possibly 2, food awful. Hotel's only saving grace is the animation team. Goody runs herself ragged. Pool area very cramped and very sloppy. Lots of flies around the food area in the dining room. Airport transfers horrendous. Supposed to be 90 minutes when it was really three hours. Will we return - NO.

We stayed here from the 31st july to 14th august so 2 weeks.

When me and my fiancé arrived at the hotel at 2 in the morning, we stood at the reception for about 5 mins before we were even acknowledged, the sour faced man then told us we were to look at the board for times and we filled out some paperwork.

We were on the 5th floor which hasn't been refurbished, they were ok and on the plus side they were bigger rooms, however the bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned for years to which we then found out after our first shower the whole bathroom flooded due to a leak coming from under the bath, we told reception twice however nothing was done about it and we had already unpacked our stuff so we couldn't be bothered moving. Being on the 5th floor meant our room was cleaned last and although the maids done a good job cleaning, they never came until half 4 or 5 which me and my fiancé were already in the room relaxing before night time. We had two single beds pushed together to make a double where we kept falling down the middle. The sheets were like sand paper especially if you had sunburn it was sore when you turned.

The food was disgusting! It was so overcooked that all the meat was chewy even the cats wouldn't eat it. My fiancé took really ill being sick all the time which we put it down to what he had for breakfast because we both ate the same the whole holiday. Dont get me wrong we always went to see what we could eat because we had paid for our all inclusive but we ended up eating out for most of our holiday. The variety of food was rubbish eggs all the time for breakfast and some chicken or turkey for lunch and dinner.

The staff weren't very friendly I was always polite and some of them were polite back but there was no banter or conversation. My fiancé ended up being sent to the bar all the time because I would stand for easily ten minutes and not get served. The barmen would serve all the turkish people before getting to you, which is the usual but it was ridiculous.

We always got sunbeds but we were up at 8 or 9 every morning. However there were people letting their children pee in the filters at the side of the pool and people spitting in the filters and blowing their nose and it usually happened in the morning to which made me feel sick. It was cramped so be warned.

The animation team Goody and Bora are very pleasant and always there to help and did their best. However I couldn't help but notice the first week all the activities were just darts, water polo and some kind of tournament and then the second week they introduced aqua gym, petang and their 2014 club dance.

The location isnt ideal but you can jump on a dolmus and it takes about ten mins to the town. To get a dolmus turn left out thd hotel and keep going till you get to a road then walk through the bus station, this is safer rather than trying to walk the dual carriageway which is really dangerous. You can get a taxi which is cheap but the dolmus (bus) is cheaper.

The cafe centre restaurant and bar is really good food and friendly people especially the waiters this is is kuşadasi. Isis outlet is really good for clothes, Alex spends his time with you, its right next to the phones.

Overall this is not a 4 star hotel, alot needs to be done for it to be this standard! We didn't let it ruin our holiday but our money was wasted on the all inclusive.

Stayed at the Marbel for two weeks with my parents in July. Yes, the hotel doesn't serve the finest food (a little repetitive) and yes you have to pay extra for ice cream, wifi, beach towels but this really doesn't matter in comparison to the friendliness & the amazing vibe of the hotel. Also, the town is really not that far away (15 minute walk) so you can grab a cheap dinner there if you want a change of scenery. Thanks to Bora & Goody urging everyone to get involved, the atmosphere around the hotel is fantastic, we met some really great people. The bar staff were brilliant too, always smiling. I'd 110% recommend this hotel & I can't wait to go back.

Stayed at the Marbel in July and had an amazing time, staff were great from arriving early hours and being greeted with a sandwich and bags were taken to our room was a lovely touch.
All the staff were more than helpful and did all they could to make you feel really welcome, the pool staff were friendly and the bar staff were awesome, they even took my son nights out and playing football when they clocked off.
Nora and Goody were awesome, really good fun and not pushy if you wanted to chill out.
Food was a bit repetitive but all inclusive's always are, always something you could eat.
Room was very clean and had fresh towels daily, maids were so friendly.
My advice is make an effort to talk to staff more than just asking for a drink and you'll find they are great to be around.
In all had a fantastic time, will be back next year, don't listen to bad reviews. I used taxi's as we have a wheelchair and didn't find them expensive.
Thanks Marbel for an AMAZING holiday x
