“gets better each time”
Reviewed 30 July 2011

This is a lovely hotel. the staff are friendly and do their best to make your stay comfortable. this was our second trip and i was not at all disappointed, in fact, it gets better each time.
the food was good, great variety to suit everyone's taste. the beach was just 2mins walk beside the hotel. the entertainment staff did a great job with the different shows every night. overall, i would have no hesitation in recommending Kustur Club.

A very well maintained hotel set in large grounds. Our room was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We had booked a family room for 4 and it was above expectations - a twin room witha door leading through into a double room which meant ample space. Our room was set quite high up which meant a 5 min walk to the pool/restaurants but this wasn't a problem for us and meant that we didn't hear any noise at night.

The food was excellent - lots of choice - and wonderful service with well spaced out and beautifully set tables.

The pool was well maintained but always busy with sunloungers reserved from quite early on! We always managed to get some as we went in for breakfast at 9.30ish but would imagine that this could be a problem during the summer holidays! The beach was also an excellent option, straight over the road and only for use by hotel guests - more sunloungers here and at no cost. A range of watersports were available - canoes & pedalos were free of charge.

The weather in May was fantastic and ideal for a 1 week break in the sunshine. We would definitely return for a week in May but would be hesitant about the summer when we would anticipate it being much busier.

Our biggest, and probably only, complaint would be that icecream was only available for 1/2 hour per day and only to children! Having paid for an all inclusive family holiday we would have expected icecream to be readily available throughout the day as it has on all other all inclusives that we've been on.

My Husband and I booked Kustur Club as a last minute break for our wedding anniversary & we really enjoyed it.The food was fine in the buffet but did get a bit repetative towards end of week. There are 2 speciality restraunts as well that need booking in advance and carry a £5 euro each charge. We ate at Paridiso twice and found the food & wine excellent. It is a open air elevated restraunt & the sunset over the ocean as you enjoy your meal is worth every penny of the suppliment charge.
As it is a family resort it can be chaotic by the main pool but there is a quieter pool available as well.Evening entertainment was lacking but as Hotel is only a 5min dolmus ride from the centre of Kusadasi we spent most evenings in town.Overall clean, lively resort, not 5 star but more than adequate considering price we paid. The downside was far too many German/Russian guests and if you fly to Bodrum expect a 2 hour tranfer.

We have recently returned from two weeks holiday in this resort and have only one complaint - the reception staff!! They are extremely arrogant, offhand and rude and should appreciate that when people have been travelling a long time to get there they don't need the appalling attitude they are greeted with upon arrival at Kustur - on saying that after staying two weeks at this resort, my only recommendation to the Management of Kustur would be to sack the reception staff and re-employ staff with people skills who have appropriate training to deal with guests, as apart from that, the holiday itself was wonderful!!
After travelling for twelve hours, when we arrived at the resort (at just after 9pm) we were informed that we had not booked a family room (we were a party of 6, so wanted a room for 4 and a room for 2) so we would be in garden room, which basically meant there would be no room for anything other than the beds, when we complained about this, we were told that there were no family rooms available and that our best option was to upgrade to a superior room (at a cost of approx 140 Euros per family), so this we did. When we then asked the "gentleman" dealing with us at reception if we could get anything to eat, we were told that the Restaurant was now closed so there was nothing available but that the Restaurant would be open to serve soup at midnight. As you can imagine, we were shattered after all the travelling so went to bed hungry (1 child, 2 elderly people and 3 adults). I could not believe this, as this was the first time in all our years of travelling that we were told that we could not get anything to eat, not even a snack upon arrival at a hotel!!
After that extremely bad start - the rest was great......
After upgrading, we were allocated rooms overlooking the silent pool, which was fantastic as it was away from the noise of the main pool, but near enough to go on the slides and join in with the fun if you wanted to.
The food at the Kustur was fantastic, there was something for everyone and bearing in mind the different nationalities they are catering for, this takes some doing. Food is served more or less all day long (apart from it seemed when we arrvived there - it appears after complaining about this to guest services that the "gentleman" on reception told us porkies as apparently there is always a cold buffet available for guests arriving after 9pm - so it appears our "friend" on reception was getting his own back for us causing him inconvenience) Breakfast is 7am to 11am, outside snacks, which include chips, burgers, pizza, rice, chicken, salads etc are served by the pool bar from 12 midday to 4pm, then there are filled rolls available at 5pm and dinner at 7pm until 9pm.
All the staff (apart from reception) were wonderful, they were friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to deal with them, from the Resaurant to the Bar staff - we could not fault them.
The evening entertainment is rather poor, if you stay by the main pool bar, you are subjected to someone either wailing to a guitar or on alternative nights to a keyboard - they both sound exactly the same (a bit like some poor animal in extreme pain). Don't bother trying to work out what songs they are singing, coz they all sound exactly the same! It would be far better if they just played music through the speakers as they do in the day, as they daytime music and entertainment is great!
The alternative in the evening is the ampitheater where the entertainment crew do their best to put on a good show - in fairness to them, their enthusiasm and energy know no bounds and they really make an effort to enhance everyone's holiday - they are hilarious!!
Don't let the reception staff put you off and if you have any problems, go straight to Guest Services (situated right next door to reception) and speak directly to them as they were really helpful - on hindsight, we wish we had done this sooner...
But, all in all a great holiday, we really, really enjoyed it and would definitely return - only this time more informed!!

Room Tip: The Kustur is well planned out as most of the rooms are away from the noise, although being near the...

Only one key per room - I am pretty sure that this is to make sure that guests do not leave one key in the electricity slot to keep the a/c on while they are not in the room. But I was able to convince one staff (2nd attempt) that it was very inconvenient to have only one key and was able to get a second one. But I was asked not to tell about this to anyone especially to the management.
Not cleaned/maintained surrounding.
Internet can be more widely avail. - their ad. as well as sign next to pool  say wireless is available around the main pool area. But according to staff it has been "broken" for the past one week whereas I know from others who stayed here that it has not been working/not available for at least one year. Wireless access is avail only around the reception but drops connection every 3 or so minutes.
Rest't is a mess - not organized
Gym is not maintained at all - all tha hours that I spent in the gym on treadmill there was no staff. All four treadmills are ancient and not maintained at all.
Gym opens at 8:30am but most want to start exercising earlier.
The so-called entertainment was a 7-8 grade school show class!!! Well that was something to laugh at at least.

I really recommend this hotel! Very nice people, very good food, beautiful surroundings and easy to visit Kusadasi . Also a beautiful beach, a lot of animals, a warm climate and a wonderful animation team! I already miss the loud voice of Fred and the aqua gym, the beautiful shows, the disco, the water games, the group dance and the step aerobics.

Thank you for the nice holiday! I will miss you all(Max, Fred, the french animation girl, Carlos, Sam,the breakdancers... ) .

we've waited 1hour because of the reception queue.
Our room was clean enough, but the water bottle was absent.
there were 2beds instead of a queen size bed, in a room which is reserved for a couple.
despite of these problems, restaurant and service quality were fine.
we liked the smile in the faces of the workers
