The place was lovely, very impressed with our room. The staff were great, the area was lovely and we could not fault anything. There was one big downside, would not go in June again, it is peak season for ignorant, bad mannered, greedy, Europeans from Romania, Bulgaria and yugoslavia. What is is with them, they put their towels out at some time like 2am to get a sunbed. They attack the food in the buffet like they havent eaten for months, and like they have to get plates stacked with everything, because it is all inclusive, the sad thing is they then waste the majority of it. They also do not appear to understand what a queue is for. The buffet did not seem to be big enough to cater for all the people there since the new build, and combine that with only 2 hour slots, meant it was like vulture city to get your meals. We ended up spending a lot of our money eating out to avoid it. The mares restaurant opposite the hotel is great, good prices, delicious food and they will give you anything you ask for, the owner is lovely. We enjoyed a jeep safari, and went to Aquafantasy park. Overall the weather was great, the hotel is good, staff are great, but we would have enjoyed it more had there been less overcrowding, particularly in the buffet, and when trying to catch the sun round the pool. Would recommend, but it you want someone to talk to if you are british, then do not consider going until late August, when apparently it is too expensive the aforementioned visitors to afford, so you will not be the majority, as we were.

we have just returned from a 1 week holiday at Batihan hotel. Stayed with my husband and 3 year old child. Hotel room was fab - separate living area, good sized bathroom. Food and drinks fantastic, something for everyone. The pool area and beach were clean and plenty of space for lounging. The only downside was the kids play area, if more than 1 child was on the swing it had to be held down as the feet were lifting, often meant our little girl got off because other people didn't seem to care!
all in all a fab place, great value for money, wed def return.

I travelled to this hotel with my 13 year old son, the hotel itself is beautiful very clean and the staff were mostly very friendly. Our room was in one of the new blocks and was the best hotel room we have stayed in we had both a sea and pool view. The food was fairly good i have had better in turkey but nothing to complain about. My son enjoyed the activities with the animation team who worked relentlesly to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves but didn't get to pushy if you didn't want to join in.
My only complaint about this hotel was that there were very few irish and english guests and my son who usually makes friends on his first day didn't find any until it was almost time to go home. Also some of the foriegn guests were very rude and ignorant. I used the spa and it was wonderful 55 euro for 2.5 hours with 2 massages, turkish bath and face mask great value. Also i went on a trip to Ephesus and the house of the virgin Mary this was fantastic and well worth the money, check that your guide as very good english and is very knowelgable as ours didn't but we managed to tag onto another group that was.

Room Tip: Ask for 1 in the new blocks ours was 1563

We have just come back from our holiday and it was fantastic, we were a little concerned after reading last years reviews but how wrong they were, the resort has been improved so much it should be a 5 star resort as more work is being done throughout the winter. there is everything you could need for all ages as our party ranged from age 2 - 48 and none of us were dissapointed, the staff are sooo friendly and speak very good english and are great with children. The food is brilliant you cant possiably go hungry if you do its your problem, the animation team are superb and we made good friends with them, there is also a play house for little ones to play in to get some shade and paint, watch t.v and play and best of all it is FULLY ATTENDED by staff who keep carefull wach over them, there are 5 pools, again for all ages and i reccomend at least one slide ride its tooo funny.... but the yellow one is fast!!! if i had to be picky on anything it would be the other guest's of other nationalities who can be quite rude however this isnt a hotel fault but has been noted by management and is being reviewed!! overall its been the best holiday ive been on so far and we ARE returing with more family next year however it will be a 2 week stay 1 week just wasnt enough...... cant get enough of the batihan!!! katie morgan from Derby England

like most on here i checked reveiws for the batihan beech hotel and some were really off putting and some were good so we were abit 50/50 on what it would be like. I even checked the hotels own website and 1 month before we flew out the website was up dated with new photos etc. We were still abit 50/50 as we had seen some photos from 2010 and they were of the old hotel and pool on trip advisor and thought it may have been a new sister hotel built somewhere else. Plus there was a reveiw from a month or two before we went complaining about hot water or somthing. As it turned when we got there the hotel had been newly refurbished and a whole new building built aswell as a newly designed pool area and much much more. We really couldnt believe it and had all been done in the winter and took only 6 months which i found hard to believe but as id seen pictures from last year and the new stuff wasnt there i knew it was true. So what can i say the food was nice rooms cleaned everyday the weather was great the staff were really friendly (when they realised we were english and not german or russian) animation team fantasic mike one of the animation team even came into kusadasi on his day off to take us a tattoo shop while my sister and two neices got one and didnt ask for anything ( A TIP ££££ ). And all this for £1260 for 2 adults 1 child 1 infant for 2 weeks all inclusive. SO TAKE NO NOTICE when you read a bad reveiw from now on as there really cant be any unless your just a fussy ----- or moaning ------. This hotel is amazing and we will definitly go back and we heard alot more say the same. Plus i heard that next year the hotel will be banning the bookings from germans and russians as they were the only complaints (very very arrogant people) i dont know for sure this will happen or not we'll see next year.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the new building ground floor

I just returned from the Batihan and I couldn't fault it. Spotless clean and I don't know who these people are who complain about the food it was fantastic with lot's of choice and piping hot. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels and this is as good as the rest!! We did pay extra for a sea view room and I would recommend you to do the same as the other rooms are overlooked and may be dark. The only complaint I would have was with some of the guests Im not sure what nationality they were but somewhere in eastern Europe, they had no manners and disgusting habits. One guy kept blowing his nose onto the sand every time he got out from a swim in the sea and I caught another spitting onto the bottom of the shower at the beach!! Surely they don't do this at home (or do they )
As for the hotel top marks and thank you to all the staff who were fabulous especialy Kamuz at the main bar. Also if you are going out for a night go to Sean's bar at the entrance to Bar street they're great craic and really know how to entertain thanks to Martin. I traveled with my husband and my daughter and her boyfriend and this hotel would suit most ages.

Room Tip: go with a sea view
