Myself and four friends stayed here in August 2010, and loved it. I've been on quite a few sun holidays and this was by far the best, largely because of the hotel.Beautiful pool, outdoor bar, and we ate our evening meal in the restaurant three times, and found it to be excellent (especially the roquefort steak!).The view over the sea from the outdoor restaurant is stunning. The evening entertainment wasn't our cup of tea, so we took a taxi into town most nights (hotel is approx 5 minutes drive from town centre). The all-you-can-eat buffet/barbeque was delicious. The rooms are fairly basic and the mattresses are quite thin, but this didn't affect my sleep!Apparently, you aren't allowed to bring in your own food or drink, although we brought home bottles of water, crisps etc and nobody said anything to us. I loved this hotel, and would definitely go back!

Just back from a week at the Palmin Sunset Plaza and I can safely say it is the nicest place I have stayed abroad for the money I paid.

You are greeted on arrival with a drink and no fuss check in simply your key handed over. Rooms are spacious and very clean. A bellboy delivers your luggage to the room.

Breakfast is basic, but it is perfect to start your day off. Pool is lovely, always a free sunbed and an umbrella if needed. We had our lunch by the pool every day - a salad baguette will set you back only €4 and a lovely pizza €6 upwards. Staff are very friendly and always helpful. I would highly recommend the BBQ night. The food is so fresh and such a selection of foods to choose from. Entertainment is enjoyable - there really is no need to ever leave the hotel! There is a photographer on site to take pictures which you can then look at and buy - he takes lovely couple potraits which start at €5 with no obligation to buy but is well worth it! I just loved this hotel, such a lovely atmosphere and nice people. I can't wait to book it for next year!

Stayed at the lovely Sea Pearl Hotel for seven nights in May 2010 and as we were having such a great holiday we took an offer of extending our stay in Kusadasi for another two nights. As the Sea Pearl was booked up we accepted the extension in the Palmin Sunset Plaza "Hotel". We had stayed in the Palmin Hotel for two holidays previously so we thought this would be up to the standard of both the Palmin and the Sea Pearl ...., not so! The Reception Area looked lovely, but it was only when I sat down for a drink with my Husband later that we noticed how grubby the area was. Tables full of sticky finger marks and just not up to standard of its two sister hotels. Toilets, in a word, "stinky". The Pool Area was lovely and very clean, lots of sunbeds. Also all the pool area stalff very friendly except for one who was rude and abrupt, he did however come back over to me and apologise, which I accepted and put down to a "bad day" on his behalf. But next morning, when we paid our bill at the pool snack bar, he complained under his breath about the tip we left, very rude guy. The actual rooms are on the other side of the pool and on a slight hill, found this inconvinent as we had heavy rain in May and was a mad dash and a journey from Reception to actual rooms. Tiles very slippy in wet weather outside Reception. It didn't bother us that there were no lifts either, but this could be a problem for some people, especially parents with children in buggys. Room looked clean but lots of dust under beds and as rooms are situated outside beside sea, it got a little chilly at night at that time of year and blankets didn't look clean enough to use. The room was however, spacious and very well laid out. Good wardrobe space, safe, tea and coffee making facility, although you have to purchase coffee yourself from hotel shop after you run out of same, small cooler and a very small TV.

The best part of the hotel was the pool area, very relaxing during the day and by far the best swimming pool out of the three hotels. The view of the Greek Island Samos from the pool area is absolutely stunning and sitting having a meal or a snack admiring the view was a pleasure.

Wouldn't revisit this hotel, Lacks athmosphere. Definitely not up to standard of the Palmin or the lovely Sea Pearl.

Im just back from staying at the Palmin sunset plaza in Kusadasi. It was a beautiful hotel, staff were very attentive and helpful, they all spoke fluent english. Food was very good at the hotel, even though you could get it a bit cheaper down town, if going down town to eat, try CASABLANCA, great food and a small bit cheaper. At the hotel the Rooms were very clean and spacious. Pool was perfect and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for those who dont want to get sunburnt! The hotel is very child friendly, there are plenty of activities for kids! It was a nice romantic break. Just outside the hotel, every few minutes you get a bus to the town, only 2 lira, also there are plenty of taxis outside the hotel too who charge about 13 lira to go town and after 12 at night they charge about 20 lira, we mostly got taxis as buses would stop anywhere to collect people. While in Kusadasi go to Ephesus and also would recommend aqua fantasy water park, we had a great time there!! Make sure when shopping to haggle with the owners of the shops for clothes and bags, whatever they quote divide it in half and offer that :) Entertainment at hotel every night was good, but if you want a change of scenery try bar street and go to jimmys bar, staff are very nice there!!Great holiday for us as a couple and is a great destination point for families.
