“Very comfortable and problemless rest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2013

One of the best hotels in Turkey we have stayed at. Very good location, 10 minutes by taxi from Kusadasi, no noise, no roads neaby. Good panoramic view from the room. Very friendly and helpful stuff. At the main restaurant good choice of food and what is very important - no queues for the main courses at all. All varieties of all dishes are available in great amount up to the end of the meal. There was a good choice of fruits every time - grapefruit (very tasty - only for breakfasts), melon (fantastic taste!!), watermelon, oranges, apples, apricots (later instead of apricots appeared green and black grapes), peaches and plums. Fresh juices are 9 Turkish liras (ap. 6 $) per glass. Very good pastry (confectionary is open 12 a.m. -9 p.m.). If you want to drink good wine do not order it, better buy one from the waiter.
Restaurans a la carte were not as good as we expected though I still recommend visiting them just to try some dishes different from ones of the main restaurant.
Our room was every time very well cleaned (we left tips - 4-5 Turkish liras every day).
Very modern and well equipped fitness-centre (open till 8 p.m.)
Rather steep stairs leading to the sea-beach but you can use a special shuttle bus (working till 10 p.m.) to go down and up.
Plenty of spare place on the beach terraces (there is a sandy beach which is rather crowded and lots of grass terraces a bit upper from the sea with the sea view and plenty of shadow - some of such terraces were practically desert).
There was rather much algae in the sea but generally the sea was clean.
I wish the sandy beach were cleaner.
Animation - neither better nor worse than at other Turkish hotels but I am not interested in animation at all in any case.
Mainly Belarussians and Belgians at the hotel.
35 km away from the hotel (Soke) there is a good outlet selling mainly Turkish brands (120 TL by taxi from the hotel and return)

Room Tip: View from the rooms on the upper floors is better.

We, a family with one adult and four children from North of Norway stayed here for a week. The hotell is large, but still very cosy and friendly. We loved every minute of our stay, a special thank you to the animation boys Ogulcan, Gonenc and Baver who made our stay even better! We have never met such friendly and including people before - we love you alot!!!!! Take care, boys :)

I read a lot of reviews of this hotel before and after our stay at the Sealight Resort and wanted to give an honest review for a typical holiday goer.
We booked this as a more special holiday with it being our honeymoon and completely loved it!!!

I am 22 and my husband 25 and this was perfect for what we was looking for; a hot resort that made the extra effort to make us feel special and lots of choice in a great hotel!

Although this was our honeymoon we booked a standard double room and it was amazing. The staff on the whole were very very good. Particularly around the pool bar, the bar across from reception and the main lady that worked in the cake and ice-cream bar.

I would call myself a fussy eater but was surprised that there was always more than enough choice for me in the main al-a-carte restaurant each evening. There was always your same rice, chips, salad and pasta part but the restaurant is huge and we had a selection of grilled chick, kebabs, curry, turkey, meatballs and much more throughout our 11 night stay. We have done all inclusive before and felt the need to go out to eat because of the lack of choice and here we didn't have this problem. We ate out in town twice, once as we was already out and it was getting late and again to the same place because it was so nice and would recommend it; it is in the town of Kusadasi called Kalyon and had a huge variety of English, Indian, Chinese, Mexican and Turkish meals.

The pool bar served fresh food between 12-6pm and were typical quick snacks of chicken, burgers, chips and flatbreads and they were really nice. The bar between the pool and beach also served at the same time but a different variety of fresh pizza and pastas and would also eat here.

There are the separate restaurants that you get to visit once a week for free and then pay for if you want to go more than once within the week. In my opinion I wouldn't recommend you go even for the all inclusive trip. We tried the Chinese and it was a set menu and about as Chinese as an English cafe. The only Chinese thing on the menu were the prawn crackers and spring rolls. I had chicken and rice and my partner had steak and vegetables and they were no Chinese taste/sauce with them and were very bland (preferred the al-a-carte more). WE met friends that tried the Italian and they said the same everything was mushrooms and nothing like lasagne or a good spag bol. So we didn't try this on their opinion and they didn't try the Chinese on our opinion.

Kusadasi town is about 10 minutes away on the Dulmus and cost 4.5TL for two adults which is less that £3.50. Sometimes it took a bit longer I think they take different routes to get business from other hotels. The taxi from the hotel to town centre was 8Euro/20TL. We never walked into the town centre you can get off the Dolmus wherever you want; ladies beach, Kusadasi Centre (centrum) and the port. But wouldn't recommend walking. We never tried it but don't think it would be too nice in the heat.

In the town centre there are plenty of places that will take you on the excursions for a fraction of the price that your rep (ours Thomas Cook) charges. So I would recommend you book with them. They were very reliable, on time and professional. We did the Euphsus tour, turkish bath, boat trip, and water park where we swam with the dolphins. Much more on offer too.

The hotel activities were on most of the day and had people participating all day. There are two pools, the smaller one where the water polo is played is salt water and the bigger one I think was salty but not so much as the other. It was good that the entertainment staff were trying to get people involved and we did do some of them. The only thing I would say was the music was sometimes too loud when you are trying to relax and the guy talks over the microphone whilst doing some activities so that the whole pool can hear (not needed)

The only downside to the hotel was the entertainment. It was okay for the children with the animation team and outdoor cinema but at night there were singers on and karaoke and we love live music and karaoke but the standard was pretty poor. There were next to no songs in the book for karaoke either. As music lovers this left us a bit disappointed but went into the town for this on a few occasions.

The rooms were spotless and maid service was everyday unless you stated for them not to come in - they cleaned up and gave clean towels and bedding. Very good workers and polite.

On the whole this was a fantastic hotel and even though we haven;t been back to the same hotel twice, we would certainly come here again. It was well worth the money and more and we were highly pleased with it. Just what we needed :)

Don't be put off by people moaning about silly things - they will moan about anything!!
Take this from normal holiday goers that have been away with large groups. family and just as a couple and book this for a fab Turkish holiday xxx

We have just returned from our second 2 weeks stay at Sealight. Another fantastic holiday thanks to this beautiful hotel and the very helpful and friendly staff. As we were return guests we were upgraded to a superior room free of charge and we had a bottle of wine, fruit and biscuits left for us in the room,a very nice gesture!
The food was good but there didn't seem to be as much choice on the dinner buffet as last year.It is worth the wait in the queue to book the 4 a la carte restaurants as the food there is also very good and they provide a change of scenery from the main restaurant.
Whilst the hotel is quite remote it is very easy to get out and about with the dolmus stopping just outside the gate. Ladies Beach is a couple of minutes away and Kusadasi centre is about 15 mins. If you wish to go further afield and visit other towns or villages the dolmus system is very easy to use.
I would recommend Sealight to anyone wishing to have a fantastic holiday in this area.
Thanks again to all the brilliant staff for another fantastic holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sealight resort hotel.
It's located in a beautiful place, surrounded by hills and small mountains.
The staff was polite and helpful. During day time they organised some sport games. Every evening there was a special entertainment program: live music, fire show etc.
There's also a decent gym in the hotel and sauna.

Food was good too, tasty and fresh: meat, fish, chicken, delicious cakes, fruit (though some fruit was not always that ripe).

The hotel is located about 20 min by bus to the Kusadasi center (bus stop is located just near the entrance to the hotel). It's very easy to get to Efesus and aqua park (first take a bus from the hotel to the bus station in the center and there take a bus to any direction).

This hotel doesnt reserve 5stars. I was in many hotels in Turkey, but this reserves max 4stars. The food every day the same, not so many variety choosing. In 4 stars Ephesia hotel i had the same food like in 5stars Sealight. 80proc Russian people, a little Turkey and other countries. The animations were terrible, the animation guys didnt care about people! There Wasnt Animation! From morning music plays 80-90 years so you can sleep all day or relaxed, like you want:-) the worst animation i saw in the hotels!! Just location is ok, you go down on stairs to the beach and there is a nice view. I never come back to this hotel again, its so expensive what it hardly offer. The atmosphere in hotel is so boring and depressed, if you like enjoy your holiday and like party, dont choose this hotel, believe me!

Room Tip: Dont take a room on the ground floor, its very dark in it, people still walking at your balkony
