We stayed 2 nights in January whilst on a culture tour. The hotel is isolated with nowhere to walk out to, however, it is on dolmus no. 5 route to the centre of Kusadasi (TL 4.50 for 2 people). Drinks are expensive eg. TL 8 for a teabag in the room. Acoustics in the dining area are poor when occupied by tour groups so conversation is difficult. Food was poor with very little meat or fish choices for the buffet meals, the drinks service in the restaurant was slow and erratic. Rooms, however, were clean and comfortable with good sea views.

Paid a little extra to stay at the Sealight to other all-inclusive resorts in the same area, but worth every penny. Had everything to keep the kids happy, pools, beach, activities including football for my youngest. The entertainment was better than expected, was expecting the usual cheesy holiday stuff, but was pleasantly surprised, especially with the fire dancing.

Food was very good, can't be faulted considering this is a Turkey all inclusive (sick of brits slagging off food because they don't serve bacon in a Muslim country!), always something on the menu the kids liked.

In addition to the pools, there was a waterslide pool, with 3 slides in it, nice addition. Hotel grounds were large, and safe enough for my kids to roam.

Hotel room was excellent, large enough for us, cleaned every day, had a 4 start quality feel to it.

In short, this is one of the best holidays we have ever had, kids never bored, lots of sunshine, if you can get a good deal on price, go for it, its a no brainer.

We arrived to Sealight Resort Hotel by the Izmir road. The route was long, yet very agreable, mountain slopes and breathtaking sea views revealing themselves along the way.

The hotel is located in Kusadasi, a small tow on the agean see. The town itself can be seen in less than two days, but it's charm is something you can't get enough from. Promenade on the harbour, a night in the bars district or a simple walk in the souks, this town contains a big share of the turkey everyone loves, oriental, little spoiled by modernity yet offering all the things you'll need for a sweet escapade. Also, staying in kusadasi for a few days would offer you the possibility to visit ephesos (one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world) and other ancient cities, Izmir itself which is a bigger coastal city and what is known as the Home of Virgin Marry.

The Hotel itself is located 10 minutes away from downtown, buses and cabs departing and arriving regularly from the hotel gate to the city. The rooms are very cosy, and the service is great. The pool is adapted to all ages and needs, going from shallow areas to deeper ones where people can swim. The spa is fair, nor luxirious nor big yet provides basic massages and cares. We were on a all inclusive reservation so food wasn't anything to complain about, dozens of dishes from local specialities to international food being prepared 3 times a day, my only regret being the fact that the hotel didn't focus on making more local specialities. There are other a la carte restautants in the establishment which I would not mention in my review having tried none of them besides the pool snack which was below average, but I did spot a chinese place, an italian place, a local turkish restaurant and a night club for late night drinks.
The beach was clean, yet not totally sandy, but there are tons of public and private beaches and bays around the city that would probably meet the expectations that brought you to kusadasi in the first place. The animation at the hotel was fun, activities ranging from aquatic ones to karaokes and simple games by the pool.

Overall, our stay was great and we would certainly come back one day. Value for money is great as long as you book your trip via touring agencies and websites from Europe that have ready to go packages (The population of the hotel at this time of the year being mostly of Europeans and russians), however it becomes a bit more expensive if you make the reservations on your own.

We were on a Culture tour of Turkey and we had 2 nights here. Yes it was out of seaon but they knew some 400 people would use the hotel for 2 nights. The Hotel was not heated up for a cold weekend. The food was at the best very poor and taste less.

I the summer it maybe better I hope. Needs a make over

We booked a late deal with this hotel and spent a week there in the summer. We were quite apprehensive about it as we previously read that other guests are very rude an pushy, but we decided that this cannot ruin our holiday. I have to say that the hotel's facilities are amazing! 1 main restarurant, 3 ala carte restarurants, seawater pool, main pool, slides pool, different bars, pub etc The beach wasn't amazing, quite small and very hard to get to. It was impossible to get a sunbed next to the pools, because the guests got up very early to book them, which they sometimes didn't use all day. In the main restaurant the food service was really slow, often we didn't get drinks, because all staff were so busy, they didn't get round to us. The view was amazing from the balconies, but often cats were eating the food other people left and jumping on the tables. We also had to queue for freshly prepared food and in average took us up to an hour to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. However we found the ala carte restaurants, especially the seafood one, where we had lunch almost every day. It was convenient, they served fresh pasta an pizza and we didnt have to queue up for anything! We also had dinner 3 times in an ala carte restaruants to avoid queues. Be aware that you have to queue in the morning to get your place! Very frustrating. In the main restaurants the guest were very rude, ofthen they would take so much food, there was nothing left by the time it was my turn and I had to wait again. The same happened in the bar, in the evening there was usually no space left, people were ordering drinks for their friends, so you have to wait for a long time to get served. Most of the guests were russians and eastern europeans, not many english. This wouldve not bothered us if they were not rude. We were just trying to avoid them as much as we could, so we can enjoy our holiday. Overall we made the most of our holiday by avoiding the crowd, finding a quiet spot on the beach and enjoying the ala carate restaurants. That's what my advise would be!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in November (as part of an organized tour). The hotel is located very close to the sea and there is a nice beach just below the hotel (to be reached by a long staircase). The rooms are comfortable and modern and the service is good. This hotel is also a good starting point to visit Ephesus. I can imagine that, in summer, this is really a nice place for a family with children (swimming pool, etc.)

Room Tip: ask for a room with seaview

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel for 2 nights as part of a tour around Lycia. It is a large well run hotel as long as you don't mind being part of a huge crowd. On arrival we were welcomed at reception with a very welcome drink of Linden tea. The communal areas are spacious and do not feel over-crowded.The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds, a standard but perfectly adequate bathroom and a balcony with a sea view. The food was served in a huge dining room but well displayed with a large choice of dishes. There was a wide cross section of nationalities which was very entertaining. We would certainly return.
