Hmmm where to start!

I'll start with the positive part first.
The hotel amenities are very good in view of the fact that we arrived at the end of the season on a low cost holiday. It's would appear many have made this same trip before us.

The restaurant is clean and more than capable of looking after it's guest, providing you like the all inclusive deals.

Breakfast presents a large selection of food along with both Turkish tea and a half decent filtered coffee. (No British tea, we are in Turkey of course!)

The indoor pool is of a good enough size to swim and is monitored regularly for temperature and quality with towels enough for all guests.

There are some pool side recliners and a very small toddlers pool. The sauna and Turkish bath is included and is very nice especially after a long week previously.

The rooms however do leave a lot to be desired! Upon arrival due to the high quantity of coaches arriving at similar times it was some time before we actually got our rooms allocated.

On entering the room my travelling partner and I were presented with a terrible smell as if some had died in the room and had been forgotten. We immediately went back down to reception and was told we could not change the room. I complained further then the rude receptionist told me they would have to send somebody up to confirm the horrid smell before re allocting us to a different room, This took a further fifteen minutes.

Some of the other guests had also complained re the smell and cleanliness and were told if they wanted to change rooms they would have to pay an upgrade fee. (Some of those guest did pay others like ourselves did not)

The rooms themselves were of low quality, with many carpets stained this complemented the loose fixings in the bathroom with tiles not fitted and aligned properly or even grouted to a standard one might expect from a four or five star hotel.

I noted along the corridors many of the architraves were loosening and had even fallen off in a few places.

It is worth noting that this was the free week offered by the tour operators which might explain a few things.

My advice would be if your on the RSD TOURS don't be upset with your room it's functional albeit a little sub standard in my opinion.

If your thinking of booking this hotel for your main holiday and thus paying more than us, don't bother there are many better hotels in the area including the Tuson around the corner.

Please remember holidays are what you make them not what others say.

Room tip: Complain once you have seen your room if your not happy, they will eventual concede.

This is a modern well kept hotel with gym, indoor and outdoor pools and spa. This was a seven day 'freebe' following a punishing 7 day tour of ancient sites in western Turkey. Outdoor pool area was lovely but private beach was down at least 100 steps, ok until you want to come up them!
Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Bathroom had bath, which was good. Bar area wasspacious and comfortably furnished. Dining room with outdoor roofed area beside pool.
Buffet dinner and breakfast were extensive with plenty of choice hot and cold and good desserts but even though they had facilities for heating plates, they weren't turned on so meal was cold by the time you sat down. Breakfast and dinner had lovely breads baked in front of you. We had to leave by 5.30 on the last day and, thankfully, a cold breakfast was provided.
The hotel would have been paid a minimal amount by the tour operator so they clearly make their money on meals and drinks. Because of this, it is understandable that prices are higher than you would expect for Turkey, however, a teabag or coffee sachet in the bedroom costing £2 is farcical and leaves a sour taste. We just bought a packet of apple tea and used the kettle in the room for that. The penny pinching is a shame as it gives a bad impression and I doubt things are like that in the summer season. Other reviewers have commented on these shortcomings but haven't acknowledged that they paid next to nothing for this resort week.
Hotel has local dolmush bus to kusadasi right outside front gates for about 60p each way. This bus also goes to the beautiful 'ladies beach' which had good restaurant. Kusadasi has lovely harbour area but town is limited otherwise. Trips available to Izmir, pamukkale and some Greek islands.

We stayed here for a week following an exhausting 7-day tour by coach of Turkey's Ancient sites.
Fully inclusive ......... and by that we mean everything was included, drinks from 10.00am until 11.00 p.m if you wanted, mid afternoon tea and cake etc etc.
OK - it was out of season and several of the amenities were closed (and the pool was freezing cold!). But it still gave us a comfortable place to relax. Food was good, room was modern, bathroom well-equipped.
Really liked the swing jazz evening the hotel arranged for free.

When we arrived at this Hotel, it was with miserable faces, we was told to go down stairs, we went not knowing were to go, found a room and sat down with a horrible drink, we waited there in this room for half an hour but seemed longer. and our guide came in, told us nothing about the hotel, just the extra excursions we can do, that we was told by our guide a day before we arrived at the hotel, all thought a waist of time and uncomftable, then we went back up stairs to queue for our rooms, finally got the key went upstairs to find we had 2 single beds, so went back down stairs told the porters to hold our bags, queued again given another room, and it was occupied by a couple in our group when we opened the door, felt really bad, went back down stairs and no apologies, but given another room, finally an empty room and double bed, the bed was rock hard, and very uncomftable did not sleep properly for a week, and i am a very sick person with a kidney transplant and Cancer just unfair to be treated like a little child, was so looking forward to the rest in this hotel and to try and gain the weight i have lost and get my appetite back, but could not the food was cold, for breakfast was not bad, but lunch and dinner, you would have the left over vegetables turned into soup, rice or macaroni with watered down sauce for the macaroni and the greek stews was watered down cold and and no flavour weighed myself when i got home have lost more weight, so the extra money for food i could of saved and ate outside with my tripe into town everyday, as there was nothing to do in the hotel, even went to the hotel hairdressers to get my hair cut and braided and had to do it in town as they did not speak English and wanted to dye and perm my hair as that was the only pictures they had, in the evening there was no entertainment other then one bar, 2 ladies every other day playing a piano and violin and once you finish your dinner those ladies have finished, no were to sit as everyone in the hotel trying to find a seat but not enough provided and listening to everyone shouting when they are talking to try and hear what someone is saying to you and people getting drunk asking were is the entertainment. so went to our room were one chair to sit for 2 people, had to lie on a bed that is a rock, was very upset been on this trip 3 times, was the worse hotel i have ever stayed was even told that it was closed over the summer and this is the first time it was open, this hotel was a wast of our hard earned money and will not be returning, also i would like to point out the staff are always with long faces there was a male and female dinning room staff was brilliant and the 2 male staff at the bar was surperb everyone else was making our stay miserable .

Room tip: front upper floors better views, but do not get a choice, but if you complain you are asked to upgrade 180 euroes

We stayed all inclusive at this "resort hotel". Entertainment was piano / violin every other night, poor choice of cocktails compared with other hotels. Hard lumpy mattress. Variable food with chips and soup for breakfast and cold if other quests left lids open. Left over food becomes soup.

Beware of some Finnish quests who dont know when to stop drinking making the atmosphere uncomfortable. No other entertainment. Uncomfortable for the English / French / Flemmish guests.

We were on the fourth room allocation before getting our double bed, first single, second double but occupied, third single and finally a double, but we could have upgraded and not had an issue.

If you use their tea or coffee in the room you are charged or water from the fridge, but silly for a supposed 5 star resort. We paid full board but not allowed to take to room.

We understand it is a poor tourist season in Turkey but harassing us for tips 24/7 is not the answer.

There is an excellent bus (number 5) to and from Town and the port as fast as a taxi and €1 oe L2.5 each way. This was the only entertainment In town leather shops desperate to sell so negotiate a price of 20% ticket price and walk away if needed much better than leather shops on tour.

Room tip: Dont bother to upgrade
