We stayed at the Sealight for 10 days and really enjoyed our holiday. We found all the staff to be very helpful and efficient, although some times in the restaurant they were very busy, and the food was not always as hot as we liked.
We went to all four of the a la carte restuarants and found them all very good especially the fish one.
Our room was very spacious and especially liked all the extra toiletries and goodies.
The entertainment "team" was very low key and we did not see any activities as mentioned e.g aqua aerobics, volley ball but you could hire the equipment for tennis, boules etc.
The evening entertainment was varied and we went to a couple of shows, cinema and nightclub.
Our rep did not seem to be available to book trips but we found a good shop in Ladies beach and booked the trip to Ephesus and a boat trip which were both excellent and cheaper that with the rep.
We used the Dolmus to Kusadasi several times and went to the marina, clothing and vegetable markets which were very busy.
We found the holiday met our expectations and would certainly recommend the hotel.

We stayed in the Sealight Hotel last year in June 2009 we were a party of 12 - it was really fantastic and we couldn't wait to book again for this year.

But unfortunately it didn't come up to last year - the food was very repetitious compared to last year - chicken, chicken and still more chicken would have loved to have had more lamb and beef- there was fish now and again though. The salads and fruit were very varied so much to choose from and the bread - the bread - loved the turkish bread!!!! The waiters were absolutely "run-ragged" there didn't seem to be as many as last year and the hotel was very busy - but to their credit 99% were so nice nothing was too much trouble (when they could draw breath!!). Last year the tables were cleared as soon as people had finished their meal - this year because of the lack of waiters you didn't know whether the previous diners had vacated the table or not!! There were a few of the original waiters from last year who recognised us - Taylan was one - was so lovely - hope he will be there again next year We went to the four alacarte restaurants - the fish and the italian were superb - shame we couldn't say the same about the turkish and the chinese - not a patch on last year!!

The entertainment staff worked very hard - although not as good as last year mainly because a wall had collapsed the week before we arrived and the amphitheatre where a lot of the entertainment took place was off limits because it was dangerous. Most of the entertainment was around the pool bar - russian female quartett who would not or could not sing anything american or english!! A male turkish trio who were supurb. Also the female musicians in the lobby bar were good.

A lot of the sunbathing areas close to the sea were also unusable so if you wanted to go to the sea there was only the hotel's small beach - we paid to use the beds on the next hotel's beach as there was much more room between the brollies and beds. Hopefully next year all will be resolved. The beach area wasn't very clean no rubbish bins to encourage rubbish collection - I don't think the turkish people protect their environment enough - plastic bags and bottles in the sea - the turtles swallow the plastic bags etc., and die.

The hotel itself was lovely - kept very clean by the hard-worked cleaning staff - who were so nice and friendly. The pool area was very clean always being cleaned - the pool bar staff were great too - as were the lobby bar staff. We didn't use the lighthouse bar so can't comment.

The reception staff were faultless - nothing was too much trouble - can't praise Mustafa and Bulent the Manager enough - Bulent actually helped us to weigh our cases before we left for the airport!!! The room we got eventually was what we had asked for when we booked in January pool/sea view - lovely. The afternoon tea/coffee and cakes were to die for!!! The man in the clothes shop (same as last year) was so friendly and courteous as was the other shopkeepers.

Have to mention that the Spa downstairs is great - had a free back massage (won in the bingo) and emerged a new woman!!!!! The turkish bath was great too.

We are 6 mature ladies and used to "dress for dinner and evening" - such a shame that many people didn't bother - some just used to dress in T-shirt and shorts - in a 5* hotel you expect people to make an effort - the turkish ladies make an effort so what must they think of the foreigners who don't!!!!! This hotel is supposed to be going into the Thomson Platinum Brochure for 2011 - lets hope there is some sort of dress code then!!

Kusadasi town is a must to visit - we loved it and went in a few times for a bit of "retail therapy" - loved the shops and shopkeepers who didn't hassle too much and had a laugh and joke with us!! Went around the streets where the locals shop as well as the tourist area. Bought some lovely leather Prada bags (fake!! ha!ha!) and one of us bought a beautiful long cotton dress. Good value for money too - they grow cotton in Turkey.

Didn't like Ladies beach much - more for the young ones - all dancing boy bars and weak rip-off prices happy hour drinks.

Hope you increase your staff Sealight Hotel, add more lamb and beef to your restaurant menu for next year, improve the turkish and chinese alacarte and we may recommend you,

All in all we had a lovely holiday.

I arranged for all my family to go to this Hotel 18 in total. My Son was getting married in Izmir
i also sorted out the Honey moon suite for my son.
We paid in Total over £800.00 Well i was told we would have a Sea View but that did not happen then my parents who are Disabled & in there late 80's had to walk a long way to fight for there food then find cutlery which was never on the tables,Do not believe about all the Restaurants as they dont let you use them most were closed.
We were told there was a lift for my parents so they could go to look at the sea that was not so there was steep steps loads of them no way down except the steps & the fish Restaurant was ment to be there.
We also had to pay £60.00 for i wheel chair for 6 days.
next we all arranged flowers for the Bride & Groom we saw them they were Dead that cost £30.00 for dropping flowers. What was ment to be a real treat was very Bad after the amount we paid out. We normally go to Hotel Fantasia much better than Sea Light Hotel
No Soap in our room very little bedding. Shower did not work in my parents room
The safe did not work in ours they said they would do it but never did.

The reviews are right this is'nt 5 star but it comes close.

The superior room we had we could'nt fault it was always clean & very big, esp the bed !

The main resturant food was ok there was alot to choose from each night but mostly served only warm, The turkish resturant was the best, The chinese was also very good. The italian was not good at all & the food came out cold. We did not try the seafood resturant cos we don't eat it but others said it was nice.

The pool was freezing its never heated but the area around it was always very clean & being kept tidy by staff.
The pool bar was good for drinks alday & snacks, The 24 hr coffee bar was very handy also. The cake shop was esp lovely & was open till 9pm.

The entertainment was good but not brilliant. The hotel beach was small but did the job & was also kept clean with water sports at extra cost. The hotel little water park was kinda fun too.

I would go back to this hotel its ideal for a relaxing holiday. We did go down to ladys beach & it was a lovely beach with a few shops & lots of resturants.
We also went down to the harbour where there are lots of shops but be prepared to be dragged into the shops by the locals trying to get you to buy from them. This was ok at first but we soon got fed up with it !!!

the hotel was very well presented from the start! Excecelent service in every area of this large hotel! The main thing in all inclusive i think everyone would agree is cleanliness & the range & quality of food which did not dissapoint! The pool area was so clean and the whole setting very beautiful!
Drawbacks.....i really hate to mention, as we really did enjoy our stay! The only let down was the entertainment on an evening, this was practically none existant! So once you'd had your meal & one or two drinks in the bar of your choice ,you found yourselves at a bit of a loose end!
All round excelent hotel .
