Hotel is basic but adequate for a short stay in Göreme. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is generous. Wi-fi works properly and is free. Good value for budget travellers.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a real cave room, not all of them are!

I stayed at the Peri Cave Hotel, a family run small scale hotel in Goreme, Cappadocia.
The rooms are clean, well and tastefully furnished. They have two "fairy chimney rooms", a number of cave rooms and reg rooms. The manager Murat is extremely helpful and accomodating. He was able to take care of my needs at the hotel, sightseeing, and even recommending what type of apple tea to buy. The breakfast is served in a tree-lined courtyard-excellent food and ambience. Walkable distance to many balloon ride sites and hiking trails.
Highly recommended

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay, especially for budget travelers. We had the largest room we've ever had, a jacuzzi, a spectacular view of the rock formations that make Cappadochia famous, and a complimentary breakfast every morning for a ridiculously low price! Some people may be put off by the unmatching furnishings, the dated decorations, and the quaint quality of the cave rooms - but if you're looking for a luxury setting you probably shouldn't stay in a cave room in the first place! The hotel was immaculate, the food was filling and delicious, and I'll never get over how amazingly nice and helpful every last staff person was to us from the moment we got there to the moment we checked out. What a fantastic experience they helped us to have!

Room Tip: Take advantage of the low prices of the fairy chimney rooms, if they're available!

Hello, I travelled around Turkey alot this April and stayed at different pensions throughout West and Central Anatolia. The location of this pension is fantastic, its right in front of the Air Balloon company (and at five in the morning if you can wake up and just cross the street then thats fantastic!), its five minutes away from the Hamam and all dining places. The staff were also so pleasent and helpful, specially this guy called Mustafa, he was always asking if we needed help and offered to take our lugage and offered us tea and coffee everytime he saw us, so we were very impressed by that. Also the owner (Murat I think?) is young and incredibly welcoming to guests (almost to welcoming to female guests, ahah but nevertheless extremely nice). He offered to take us to the Hamam and the Balloon place (although you must always remember that these people get commissions and money for everything they take you to, its not just out of the niceness of their hearts), but he also gave us a horse riding company and always called for us if we needed it. So we were very impressed by the owner and his attention to all that stayed there. My only complaint I guess would be the actual rooms. Inside I didnt get a sense of "clean" from the bed sheets, he also had many different bed sheets that looked like he didnt buy but had some old ones laying around. The bathroom was also empty with no soap and barely cleaned, to me this is always a turn off. I stayed in on of the cave rooms, which was really nice, but the smell inside wasnt very good. Also, the breakfast was so simple, almost nothing to eat but bread and an egg if you were lucky, again I think they could improve in this aspect. All and all, I think that its a descent location and the owner is very helpful. Keep in mind there might be same price range hotels that are nicer and maybe have better views. But the place will do:)

Room Tip: Ask for a cave hotel..its the exitement of being in Goreme!

My husband and I stayed in the Peri Cave Hotel last week with two friends. We live in Turkey and have stayed in many Hotels and Pensions. We found the staff really friendly and the rooms very clean and comfortable. I understand from the owner that they have just taken over this Hotel this year and made many changes which may be why some of the previous reviews are unfavourable. The Hotel is within easy walking distance of the many hotels and shops in Goreme. I particularly liked the cave rooms and the garden courtyard where we sat in the evenings and met some very interesting people during our stay. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in Turkey and all in all this Hotel was excellent value for money. The owner very kindly took us to a Winery one evening and although we enjoyed this we felt the tour was a bit rushed. (Not the fault of the owner but that of the winery). All in all I would thoroughly recomend this Hotel to my friends. Good luck with the new venture.
The owner's father also owns a restaurant where we visited one evening. The food was excellent there too.

Room Tip: We saw several rooms and all were of good quality and good value.
