I loved staying in the Peri Cave Hotel.

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was fresh and very tasty.

The staff were really helpful, very friendly and couldn't bring enough cups of tea or coffee during the day when we decided to have a day off lazing around in a hammock. What's more they gave us lots of advice on the local area, where to go, walking routes and which dolmuses to catch.

Great location off the main street which makes it slightly quieter than some of the other hotels in Goreme.

We arrived on an overnight bus to Goreme. The tourist office at the Goreme Otogar called the hotel at our request and they arrived to pick us up within 5 minutes (the first hotel among all the waiting travellers). After checking in, we were shown to our room (even though it was only 8am) and told to help ourselves to the breakfast. This was very welcome kindness as we were tired, dirty and hungry. The room was clean but, as a cave room, it was constantly damp. And the only window faced onto the breakfast courtyard. We had to make a choice between fresh air and privacy. The hotel staff went the extra mile, including taking my partner’s sandals to the next town over to have the leather restitched after we casually mentioned we were looking for a shoe repair person (For the transport and repair, we paid 5 lira). The location was good as it was very close to the restaurants in Goreme and the open air museum.

Very friendly, helpful and cheerful and staff! We felt ourselves very comfortable. Good and healthy breakfast, lovely garden inside with a hammock. Really cave comfortable rooms. The staff helped us to organise barbecue in the garden. We also could discuss all the questions with the staff, including tracks and excursions. When we had an accident with scooter Gengiz Budak did his best to help us: called an ambulance, transported us to the hospital and police and stayed with us as a translater for the whole day.

We were really surprised with what we found at this hotel. Hot shower, comfortable beds with ultra clean linen, heating, and a gorgeous place for breakfast! (breakfast actually had fresh cheese, which is not easy to find now in Turkey in cheap hotels). Excellent value for money. Erdogan, the trekking expert, gave us very good tips to tour around town.
We will definitely go back should we visit Cappadocia once again
Keep it up guys!

We booked into Peri Cave hotel or a night and ended up staying three!

First the things I liked about the place.
1. The location. Peri isn't located on top of the hill, if you're travelling with older people (as we were), this was a big plus. Going out for an evening walk was easy and enjoyable.
2. The staff. Wow! These people seriously made us feel at home. We were always greeted with a smile and inquiry as to how we were doing, and they even stopped to say hi when they saw us wandering around town and they took care of our over-the-top numerous (annoying) requests with a smile.
3. Breakfast. Buffet style of eggs, cucumber, tomato and cheese - plus cheese pastries, yoghurt, and corn flakes. We loved that we could have breakfast and return to your room to gather our things before heading out.
4. Unique rooms. Peri pension has rooms in actual fairy chimneys, they cost more, but they're pretty cool. Most other places in the town only have cave rooms.

Now the things that could be improved.
1. The courtyard can be noisy in the morning as other guests come and go late at night and early in the morning. A sign asking quests to come and go quietly may be helpful.
2. The decor is a bit dated (even for a cave), it could use a bit of sprucing up. One of our group wished for a bedside lamp for reading.

Value for money-wise, this place is an excellent choice. Everyone in our group was delighted with Peri Hotel and Cappadoccia in general. Recommended!
