Pros:
1. Friendly staffs can really make a great difference - I could already feel the warm welcome from the staffs at the moment we arrived at the hotel. They helped us carry our luggages inside, provide us with welcome drinks and provide us with all the travel information we needed. Furthermore, they had offerred us a free ride to the Goreme Open-Air Museum.

2. The room is clean and free wifi connection in the room.

Cons:
1. The location is not that great, but acceptable. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the main area where all the shops and restaurants are located.

We were just amazed at the cave hotel concept!

Pros:
- awesome rooms inside a cave
- friendly owner/family
- good breakfast
- beautiful views all around
- we got the room for $1 (hotels.com deal) but in general seems good value

Cons:
- slightly uphill climb from main street
- bathroom plumbing had bit of a stink - they happily changed rooms for us

My sister and I stayed at the Aydinli Cave House Hotel in Sept 2012 after cancelling our reservation at the Double Tree in Avanos, a nearby town. We are sure glad we did. Mustafa and his family went way out of their way to make sure we were properly taken care of. Cem (pronounced JIM) who is Mustafa's son provided my sister and I with a private tour. He took the two of us anywhere we wanted to go plus to his favorite places around the area. We avoided tour buses and lots of people. He even got the toilet fees waived at his friend's shop. (you pay 1 TL to use the toilets most places in Turkey). We were upgraded to a huge cave room for our second night. The breakfast was wonderful and prepared by Mustafa's wife high up on the terrace overlooking the view. We went hot air ballooning with Butterfly balloons and had Mike the owner as our pilot. Ebrahim, a cousin who worked at the hotel was so helpful to the point of when I asked for a bottle opener for my water, he exchanged the water for a cold one of the same kind with a bottle opener. These small gestures of kindness is what this family run hotel is all about. Cem had an exam the next day (after our tour) but didn't rush us through our tour. My sister and I kept wondering how he did on his exam during the rest of our trip. We also wished we had him as a guide in other parts of Turkey where the guides were not as good as him. I cannot stress enough that this is indeed the place to stay in Goreme. Look no further. I spent hours and hours combing through the hotels in the area and know that I made the best decision. This is only listed as a 3 star hotel and we usually stay in 5 star places. However, the service at the Aydinli Cave is definitely 5 stars all the way. This experience is what made our trip to Turkey so special.

Fantastic service from Mustafa and his family. They looked after us like family members and were very helpful and provided great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. They also arranged our transportation and tours with no fuss. Very nice views can be seen from the breakfast area and multiple balconies. Breakfast was comprehensive and don't miss out on the homemade jams and grape molasses.

We stayed in room 8, which was part cave and was very spacious, quiet and private. Loved the double shower heads too.

Highly recommended and will stay here again if we return to Cappadocia.

My husband and I spent the last 3 nights at Aydinli Cave House Hotel and could not have been more pleased. The staff, especially the owner, Mustafa, were beyond helpful and pleasant. They helped us with booking cars, balloon trip, and the Turkish night... it made our trip so easy as it was a one stop shop. We were welcomed our first night with a lunch cooked by Mustafa's wife that might have been our most delicious meal thus far in Turkey. Our room, #4, was very simple but clean and comfortable. The views from the breakfast area are amazing as well. I would highly recommend staying at Aydinli for an authentic cave house experience with truly amazing service. Tess and Darcy

We arrived late on Aug 31st (2012) and stayed through the 4th of Sept. Our hosts, Mustafa and his son Jim, were great, really great. They both said that they would treat us like family that they haven't seen in many years and they treated us as such. They were both amazing. Hot Turkish tea was always waiting for us when we came back from a days worth of sight seeing. The rooms are fantastic. Our suite was over 800 years old, cut right out of the rock. The breakfast was wonderful. On one night, my wife and sister-in-law stayed up on one of the many terraces overlooking Goreme and our hosts brought them wine, pears and chocolate, and big Turkish pillows to relax on.Jim booked us in at a Turkish bath really close to their hotel, it was awesome!!! Better than all of the hotels and old ones in Istanbul. I really can't say enough about this hotel. Every last hotel I stay in for the rest of my life will be compared to this one and come up lacking.

Room Tip: There is no bad room here! This place is amazing! Stay at this Hotel!!!

we booked a standard double room (#6) at aydinli and could not have wished for a better place. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable with a great terrace looking over town and very quiet and peaceful. The place is family run and you can feel the love for detail, also they are all very friendly, helpful and professional. We decided to stay an extra night because we loved it so much here! we also loved that the room had no TV, but all other details you would love, like nice towels and sheets, good mattress, wi-fi and a really wonderful breakfast with lots of choices incl. fresh fruits, different types of bread and pancakes, cheese, local honey etc.....we would definetely choose this place again when coming to goereme!
