I stayed there for 2 nights and had a pleasant experience. The host and his mom were so welcoming and helpful which add to my enjoyment. The rooms are clean and lovely, but what I like most is the outdoor lounge. It is a good place to read, relax or do nothing. It is close to the main street but away from the hustle of the traffic. Suitable for family, honey moon or solo travelers.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel. The STAFF are very hospitable and make you feel as if you are part of their family. The cave ROOM was spacious, clean and cosy. I would definitely recommend the Melek Cave Hotel for budget travelers as it is a pleasant hotel with a central location.

Bed was comfy. Room & bathroom were clean. Fair for the price. The place sits at the top of the hill, which may bother some people. The upside is the view from just outside of the hotel, up the street to the right about 100m. The staff spoke English & were as helpful as they could be. Self service Turkish breakfast, served upstairs could use a more effort but is fine for the non-picky. There are many breakfast options in town, 5 minutes down the hill.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The staff were really helpful in everything. When I got ill, they did everything to find a pharmacy and get the medicine I wanted. The rooms were ok for the price we paid. We had a problem with our toilet, but the staff tried to solve it and at the end they changed our room.

I stayed one night at the hotel. It's one of the original cave hotels, ran by the grandson of the owner. He was very helpful in arranging my travels (tours, balloon, bus... Etc). The room I stayed in had a really nice shower. Great view in the terrace for breakfast. Also, it's short hike away from the best panorama view in town. The best part is the swing in the lobby, perfect place to fall asleep from reading.

Compare with many other hotels in Goreme, this hotel has a reasonable price. It's a family hotel so staffs are quite friendly and wish to help you as much as they can. They can also recommand reasonable price hot balloon, regular and unregular trips around Gomere. Generally valuable for the money you paid.

Room Tip: All rooms are quite similar for living few days.
