Owner description: Cappadocia has unreal amazing landscape which makes Balloon flights one of worlds the top 3. The spectacular surrealistic landscapes combined with excellent flying conditions allow the balloons to gently drift over and between fairy chimneys, pigeon houses hewn into the unique rock formations, orchards and vineyards through impressive valleys, each with distinctive rock formations, colors and features and then float up over rippled ravines for breathtaking views over the region.

“Turkey's Jewel Named Capadocia”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014

This is amazing place to go when visiting Turkey. It takes 4 hours drive from Ankara it is unique landscape made by natural stones. Some people still live in the house cave like in the ancient time, and amazingly the cave house was cool inside when it was very hot outside and it was warm inside during winter time. The cave houses were used long time ago during the Ottoman period where the Christians were after to be killed. They hid in this dry area and survived somehow from Ottoman's army. There were hidden churches, ancient Christianity signs and marks in the caves. One thing you would not miss it when you were here was taking hot air balloon at dawn and saw sunrise in this beautiful landscape, among hundreds of colorful hot balloons around you. It is a must to experience, nothing like this in other place on earth. Perfecto..

“Unforgettable experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 June 2014

The nigth before we prepared our cameras, jackets, water and everything we thougth that is necessary. Nothing was necessary except the cameras... We get up early in the morning. Goreme already sleeps. It is quiet. The taxi arrived (you must know the name of the flying company to avoid misunderstandings). We were happy and curious. The company offered us a good breakfast. I thougth that it is not good to eat bofore flying with a ballon because of seasickness. Wrong, this is not a car neither an airplane! The safety is on first place and we waitied until the pilot is 100% sure that the weather conditions are perfect. We arrived on the place for flying off. The sound from the fires is really loud. With the permission from the airport our adventure began. We were in th sky really imperceptibly. Suddenly the ballon entered into a small cloud and we didn't see anything but a fog.. and we didin't hear anything but the fires. We didn't know if we move or not, we didn't know where we are. Unforgettable! We get out from the cloud and a magnificent view was around us. Everybody wanted to remember that for ever! The speed is low so you feel really safety.
This hour was like a gift for us and thanks God that we had the chance to fly!

“Sky Spectacle”

This is a once in a lifetime experience. You will find yourself flying with a hundred other balloons dotting the morning Cappadocia sky. Not for those with a fear of heights.

“Unbelievable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

Wow , we had a lovely hot air balloon experience. The pilot was so informative and the flight very smooth.
The views are so different from up there. The fairy chimneys look much more beautiful from the ballon ride. One must surely
experience if traveling to Cappadocia

“Mustafa Kara was our pilot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

Ballooning in Cappadocia is a must have experience. The fairy chimney's are incredible on the ground but even more incredible from the air. For me, it was my first ballooning experience and I enjoyed the whole process from getting ready to taking off to landing--a very good experience and interesting process. Plus the views are indescribable. The only thing I didn't love is how small the space is in the balloon basket but after the views appear before you, you soon forget how cramped you are! I would love to do this again soon!
