I had read about the cave hotels and by chance picked Vezir Cave Suites, I should have also done the lottery the same day because this was a winner. The rooms are huge and the view is out of this world. The service is outstanding, heated towel bars, Turkish robes, a jacuzze tub, well I could go on and on but traveling alone as a senior citizen, I was well taken care of my 3 days there and was shown around the town by the manager the afternoon I wasn't on tour and I wanted to take a last minute balloon ride over the area and they pulled a rabbit out of a hat and found me a last minute space and it was perfect. Oh yes if I can, I truley recommened Vezir Cave Suites, they are the best.

Room Tip: There isn't a bad room..I clicked swimming pool in error as they do not have one and can't g...

Magical is the best word I can find for this hotel. Everything about it is just about perfect. The views are stunning. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are amazing--jacuzzi tub and a shower, heated towel bars, thick Turkish robes and nice toiletries.

You will not find yourself in a more perfect location. On a hill just above the town, surrounded by fairy chimneys with a view to die for. This is why you came to Goreme. Be sure to get up early, make yourself some tea, sit on your terrace and watch the spectacle of hot-air balloons fly right over your head, so close you can practically touch them!

Add to all this the incomparable Tayce, the beautiful manager of the hotel. Her bright Aussie smile and good cheer will make your day. And she is the perfect person to hook you up with the right places to eat and solve small problems. She sent us to Koy Evi, a restaurant on the hill above the hotel. We would have never found this place on our own and it was one of the best places we ate at on our entire trip.

All in all, this was one of the most memorable places I have ever stayed anywhere in the world. Don't hesitate--just book a room!

Room Tip: Be sure to get a room above the first level. Those on the first level have a view of the courtyard...

This hotel was second on our honeymoon itenrary .
Except for the fact that we got the smallest room yet again .. This place is heaven ,
The hotel staff , including the manager and his significant other ( alley- who is from Australia) were amazing ... Helping out with everything in any way possible :)
Amazing breakfast , fresh turkish ommelletes made by the housekeeper For the guests . The view was just to die for , we would usually have our breakfast on rooftop where you see the early morning hot air balloons and the view of rising of the sun were breath taking ...
An amazing place to stay . A great experience to say the least

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and had a very comfortable stay. It was like staying at a friend's house because the Manager Ms Tayce and Erdi treated us like house guests. They go the extra mile to help their guests with everything. The suite room was comfortable with traditional local furniture and spacious with a very modern large bathroom which has both Jacuzzi and shower. The room does not have fan/ac but we did not need it at this time of the year. Both the room and the bathroom has heaters because it gets cold in the winter. The small terrace in front of the room is very nice for morning tea because the view of the Goreme town, the chimneys and balloons in the sky all together make a spectacular sight.
The breakfast had adequate choice and was served indoors. In better weather perhaps it is served on the terrace with a great view.
Vezir suites is located within 7 mins walk downhill from the center of the Goreme town which has several restaurants, shops and a Hamam. We had very good dinners at the Kale Terrasse.
The hotel does not have an elevator and the walk back from the town is uphill so very senior citizens with knee problem and young parents with small children should take this into account before staying here.
The ventilation system in the bathroom does not work well so the smell does not go away for a very long time. Incense or aromatic oil with candle may help.

Room Tip: If you hate climbing stairs you need to stay on Ground and first floors. Find a solution to the bath...

I love this place. Great people/family who runs it. Definitely would stay here again. I would give it 5 star but only reason i give it 4 star is because we booked 2 rooms...but only in 1 room, there was a smell of sewage when you close the doors and the little window. I guess it is a cave suite, not too well aerated so that's likely to happen...plus the room was on the ground floor. But otherwise, it was a great place and close to/walking distance to the center of town, restaurants, shopping etc.

Room Tip: choose a higher up room / cave suite.

You know what's its like trying to sort a hotel the night before on the net, always a bit of a pig and a poke. But if this is u then head straight to this place. We had an awesome stay. From great service, great brekky, great view, nice outdoor chilling space and great view of the early morning balloons.

Our room was impecably clean and really roomy.

Tayce was a fantastic host. Nice to have an English speaking host and really really friendly. She even sorted out one our crew down at the pharmacy when he was crook. A great knowledge of trips and things to do.

I don't think that you could get a better location either. An outlook over town and very close to the main part of town.

This review may sound a bit over the top, but its a great place, so rip into it.

The manager Tayce and Erdi are really really kind and helpful to all. and the room is very clean , breakfast is good..locationand view is also great. The best thing here is SERVICE. They are ready to help the tourist. booking and arranging the tours at a reasonable price, and they also advise and recommend for nice trip, restorant and..etc. Even after check-out, they offered the shower room and tea :))

It is the best hotel of all other hotels that i stayed in Turkey.

I really appriciate Tayce and Erdi giving me unforgettable trip in Cappadokia.

( From crazy woman :))
