It was a brilliant morning and the best way to see cappadocia. My partner is scared of flying/ heights but the pilot was very capable and very calm. One hour in the sky is perfect and these guys were professional and safe. You get what you pay for!

the best outdoor sight seeing experience of our turkey trip. exhilarating ride with smooth landing by very experienced pilot on the back of their own trailer van that follows the balloon from its takeoff to landing . their standard comfort flight is the one to pick by booking direct with the co website for saving 10Euro pp by paying in cash at the start of flight . Also nice photo op with ilot at flight end.

After reviewing the information at the website turkishtravelplanner.com among other very helpful information it explained how to get a comfort balloon flight. This had a smaller balloon basket with a maximum of 18 persons and only 4 persons per compartment. There was plenty of room to move around and the pilot rotated the balloon so you got all views. Uzeyir, the pilot flew high and then low to the ground for great views. This was a highlight of my Turkey tour and well worth the money.

Getting up so early might seem like a chore, but it is totally worth it to get into a hot air balloon and watch the sun rise and peek through the clouds in such a unique, alien (to us Canadians) landscape.
If you want to have a good little breakfast though, I recommend eating it before they bring you to their main office area for a 'breakfast layout' for while they collect everyone's names for the certificates they print up for everyone to keep at the end of the ride.
It was an awful spread and there wasn't even a proper tea-maker (which became standard after seeing how çay was served everywhere) available to the customers.
After asking me to write my name twice on a piece of paper, they still spelled my name wrong on my certificate.
But man, that balloon ride was fun. I never felt at risk - even when our basket totally smoked the top portion of a medium sized tree a bit during the ride
Our pilot Hakkan Yildiz, was quite funny and made informative comments about the surroundings and hot air balloons in general.
The champagne at the end of the ride was nice, but a little out of place for 6:30 in the morning in an Islamic country.

No doubt, if you wanna to do a balloon flight once in your life, you have to do it in capadocia. It s an amazing experience , you are in the sky with no wind, no sound , totally quiet discovering a magical point of view about this beautiful mountain, and you could enjoy an amazing sunset...
I do some flight before in other countries, but this one was my best.
If you wanna live this experience you have to choose this company. They have the best balloon pilots, they are able to go very close from the landscape and the mountain. The experience is greater like that and you will feel totally safe. No-confirmed pilost are not able to go so low ... and the experience is not the same.
This company is very professional and organized, and the safety is obviously their priority (i am an aircraft pilot so i can confirm it). You can book at tour everywhere in town the day just before, they will pick you up very early (i did the flight in july, pick up was at 4.30 AM to take off at 5.30...)
