The hotel is cute, cosy and clean. Good value for money, nice room with new bathrooms, simple but fresh breakfast buffet and staff that will go out of their way to help make your stay one to be remembered, the owner had his workers drive us up and down to the town centre free of charge which was very kind of him, they also organise tours which was good for us too.

It is on the top of a hill so you can see the Goreme village under you.
However the "center" in just few minutes walking.
The reception was always very helpful (speaking a very good english) and gave us advice, info, maps and suggestions regarding the area.
Room very big and clean. Tea/Coffee available 24h. Breakfast very good (omlette or fried eggs included). No restaurant available in the structure.

Divan Cave house was a nice and clean place. The staff are very friendly. They go out of your way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are big. The breakfast is a traditional Turkish breakfast and there is unlimited supply of tea and coffee.

We spent 2 glorious nights in our cave room in this little gem of a hotel. Situated high up above Goreme it affords one the most amazing view of the balloons rising in the early hours of the morning, at least that what it seemed with 4.30 wake ups and 5.00 am collection. The staff were outstanding, especially Volkan Ezdemir who went out of his way to make us feel at home and he spoke good English which is rear in inland Turkey. Breakfast was above average - highly recommended as a home away from home. If you want to see more pictures of what you can expect in Cappadocia have a look at my blog - http:/hennopsrover.blogspot.com.

We had an great time in Cappadocia and totally loved our 5 nights at the Divan Cave House staying in a Fairy Chimney. The entire town of Goreme is gorgeous and there are many hotels to choose from.

What set Divan apart for us was the excellent service and treatment we received during our stay, Hanife was great with communication right from the start when we where first enquiring about the hotel. She recommended we book our balloon ride with what turned out to be the number 1 company in the area and sorted out our transfers and a tour. Volcan was always around to help out and waited until after midnight to check us in after a late flight.

Breakfast is good, lots of options, and the fruit seems to be all locally grown produce. The overall feeling of staying here is a sense of peace and complete lack of stress.

Cappadocia is magical and staying with Hanife and Volkan was the icing on the cake of a great experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights from Oct 8-10 as part of our trip to Cappadocia. I stayed in the family suite with my parents and my sister (4 adults). From the time we arrived, Hanife and her brother Volcan did everything to make sure that our trip was memorable. Hanife gave us a rundown of the tours that were available and which ones fit with what we were interested in doing (taking into consideration that we were traveling with 2 seniors). Volcan accompanied us for a walk around the area for about an hour and introduced us to his brother Osman, who even drove us into town several times. We only stayed for 2 nights, and switched to a hotel in Urgrup for the 2nd two nights because we wanted to experience both towns. Volcan even drove drove us to our new hotel (twice, in fact: once for my parents/sister and once for myself when I returned to the hotel post-checkout once I finished my tour).

The hotel had some 15 cave rooms, including a few in the upper levels of the fairy chimney. The family suite had 2 bedrooms, a common room and 1 full bathroom. The room was well decorated with traditional furnishings, spacious and comfortable. We felt like we were guests staying at Hanife, Volcan, and Osman's home instead of a hotel. All in all, the owners and their staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. I'd recommend this hotel wholeheartedly to anyone who wants a great base for exploring Cappadocia.

Thank you Volcan, Hanife and Osman for your hospitality during our stay!
