I was looking for cave hotel with four members of family, Divan Cave House was the best choice for me. It has family room with a living room plus small kitchen and two different rooms upstairs and downstairs each. The location is a bit far from bus terminal but Goreme is a pretty small town so it would not be the important for you. Hotel manager 'Ali' tried to help me whatever i wanted someone's help; I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and baked potatoes he offered every night.

We went there from istanbul with my husband for a short, romantic yet special weekend trip. We were looking for a nice, small, clean, economic, typical cave hotel at the center of göreme. Divan Cave Houses have been a really good choice!
The hotel staff are really nice and helpful people.
The rooms are big, traditionnaly decorated and clean.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in Feb 2013. The rooms were charming and clean. The hotel sits high on a hill so the view from the breakfast room is amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The price seemed very reasonable considering the quality of the restaurant! Thanks to the staff for the wine sampling and the baked potatoes in the evening! :)

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves. The room was huge, including sitting area with fire place and large bathroom. The cave room was surprisingly noisy with sounds of other guests. There was a strange smell, presumably from the plumbing, though after a few uses of water it became less noticeable.
Breakfast was a great start to the day and offered plenty of options. Staff shared an evening of wine and potatoes one night plus a bottle of wine to our room to enjoy in front of our fire on another night.
Staff was helpful, though we would recommend getting tour/event prices quoted in writing to be sure you're clear on what you're spending; we misunderstood the price for the Turkish Night show while booking and didn't realize until paying our room bill.
The hotel is near the top of a hill, providing glimpses of the city below. A quick 5 minute walk brings you to the city center.
Overall a nice hotel for the price.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the terrace for a quieter stay.
